She rings me at work while she's in Asda and says 'What do you want for dinner?'. They're doing 8oz Sirloin steaks for less than 4 quid. .......... She cooked it to perfection as well Ps, This is the first one that would have gone over to Kings inbox if the Irish had won yesterday9 points

It is an idea that has been floating around in my head for a while....using wast oil to fire a forge up to welding temp. Anyone that does much forge welding knows fuel is expensive! I was looking to keep it as simple as possible so gravity fed fuel and low pressure air with no fancy nozzles to get clogged. This is the solution i came up with. Based around an old propane bottle. Filled with water and cut top and bottom off. P1090436 by Terry Griffiths, on Flickr">P1090437 by Terry Griffiths, on Flickr">P1090438 by Terry Griffiths, on Flickr"7 points

It's been ages since I spent any time using any of my rifles ........ In the last few months, work and other stuff has been getting in the way. So today, I took the C1 into work for a few shots in the warehouse before everyone else arrived. this is a cracking little rifle - it's harder to shoot than anything else that I own but, it's probably one of the most satisfying to use. .......... Jimmy and Ethan did an excellent job on the restoration - I love that silver action and wood stock combo ........... Si did an amazing job on the internals - it's ver7 points

Pigeons were the order of the day today, so me Jet and the wildcat took a stroll down to our favourite hide down in a small copse on my mate kevs farm . Was bitterly cold when we got there at 7:30 ,but on our approach I could see a few pigeons flittering amongst the ivy picking off the berries ? So got setup in the hide and waited with the dog . Not long after a pigeon glided in just above the hide a 16 yarder and first bird in the bag ?and a retrieve for Jet .? Then missed two on the trot ! But came good on the third shot just under 20 yards and whacked another that made it6 points

A same person no Gnasher, but as Archie said facts first then maybe an execution eh? the poor child could have been snatched from the mother and dumped for some insane reason ...........ie born out of wedlock and from a different race, some of those idiots out there carry out insane honour killings so dumping a child would not be beyond them. I'm not saying for one minute thats what happened but without facts, who knows what happened, lets just hope the child finds a good home and gets a good life after a bad start eh and those responsible get dealt with accordingly....................atb Del4 points

Hi caravan monster my dog lamped with no issues until one night he missed a rabbit with possibly 10 others in the beam which had happened before but this night he just lost his head and went totally deaf to whistle or voice. I tried retracing all the training but most of that involved having a lead or long line which the dog new and he behaved. As soon as there was no lead or long line he defied all commands. I was advised to use the whistle as soon as he did not respond use the shock collar instantly repeat the whistle and with 2 uses of the collar the problem stopped and he re4 points

Lovely morning to be out, unfortunately couldn't make it for first light would've been a perfect morning to be set up at a feeder bright sunshine and no wind, so had to make do with some challenging stalking conditions with frozen leaves underfoot but managed five stalking towards feeders plus one back at the truck after I had packed everything away,I had just shut the door of the truck when I spotted him sat up in an oak tree looking straight at me flicking his tail at me so back out with the rifle and at approximately 20 yards he didn't stand a chance that took the total to six, I've planne3 points

Thought so mate...good luck to the lad....couple of my best mates are 25 years in now. One of them used to drum in a band we had, was taking a group on the moors, turned up at rehearsals full gear on, face blacked up the lot...he'd left them up there, 2 hours in the studio and back up lol... Worked his way up.to captain now, watched him pass out as a captain a few years back...still remember him as my brothers fat best mate on the estate at 14.... Genuinely wish your lad all the best....3 points

Lots of goldies at the minute , nothing unusual to see fifteen plus on and under the feeders , lots of long tailed , coal , great and blue tits , nut hatches and greater spotted woodpeckers.. hardly seen any chaffinches or green finches this year seems like they are struggling at the moment .. these from earlier , top pic is a great tit with a white tail , yellowhammer and the goldies . Not very good pictures but I took them with the iPad through my binoculars...3 points

I was a kid in the 70s and and like you have grown out of all that but it was dead normal back then as was taking eggs and hatching them under the canary,s but in defence we would only take one egg so they could hatch the rest, bullfinch,s eggs were quite sought after as were goldie,s, there are many things we did which would be abhorrent today, but I guess they gave us an understanding and respect for it today ?2 points
