Few of you might remember my old bedo/grey x saluki/grey from over the years on here.....she lives at my parents house and comes to mine whenever they go away in the caravan now as she doesn’t like the long journeys in the car, last time I had her I ran her up the vets for a check over and turns out she is 18 next April which is a good age! I’ve had her since I was 18 and I probably learned more about dogs and hunting with her than any other dog I’ll ever own! Countless miles day and night, good Lamper and ferreting dog and not bad on hares in the day either back when it was legal to course th12 points

Anyone who supports any main party after everything we have witnessed the last 20 years is frankly a complete f***ing idiot ! Boris is a wanker, Hunt is a wanker, Corbyn is a wanker......they are all to a man (and woman) complete f***ing wankers. BUT.........they are elected by the electorate so they are a direct reflection of the electorate. Food for thought.......4 points

i wouldn't risk my kids safety with a dog showing such issues at 6m old....put it in a kennel if it's for working and go back to basics.....if it's a pet then sorry I'd pts personally or find it a good home with no children?my 8 and 9 yr olds walk all my dogs after school for me and often come back out when I get home from work....even the Wheaton donkey don't pull when kids got the lead . I chuck all mine in the motor as pups, even if I'm just popping to the shops quickly, sorts out any separation issues and travel sickness......open a car door or boot and all my dogs are straight in.....3 points

My mrs used to run a chiller and catch pigs for a living, they used huge mastiff/dane crosses sometimes with EBT added. The trend these days is for staghound/EBT crosses or Bull arabs(usually EBT,pointer, greyhound) line bred for pigs.Kelpies, catahoula's for bailing. She always said a dog cant be too hard for pigs.Others use anything from boxers to jack russells for blackberry work and lurcher types on open plains. The big dogs the mrs had were smart at their trade as well as very powerfull. So pig dog types vary as to terrain and choice of the owners.3 points

Tbf Whyte only has himself to blame for his predicament with the options he has refused/wasted that other fighters would have jumped at. Ortiz WBC mandatory Pulev IBF mandatory Joshua WBA,WBO,IBF,IBO belts, all them are top opportunitys as well as declining fights with Joyce and Usyk but he only seems to have eyes for Wilder. Hearns match making and calculated ducking have got Whyte where he is today and now with Joshua beaten by Ruiz Hearn seems to be showing Whyte a lot more time. Iirc Whytes only win over a ranked fighter inside top 20 was Parker (10) coming off a loss and that should hav3 points

Crossed the border into Lancashire yesterday and found a few Rabbits I had a look last season and there was nothing but yesterday they were bouncing round every where and there is still time for them to double up before the new season starts , I may not catch many of them but I will scare a couple .2 points

Brought another go pro and got some good footage from a local quarry, the rabbits run in these long black water pipes and sit tight so you can lift the ones the dogs mark and get a run lol the one they chased here ran under the conveyer belt so she followed and smashed the lense cover off so it’s sent off for repair yet again.......I’ve found a proper harness now tho that protects the camera more so hopefully this won’t keep happening but it’s hard with working dogs!2 points

Went to some local perms this morning, first was allotments, seen a rabbit and got it, seen a fox on the path aswell so got a pic of it on my phone, zoomed in as it was far away thats why pictures crap, left there and went to some paddocks and got another 1 then went to a few fields, seen a few but only got close enough to get 1 so 3 in all.2 points

Good old Geoff,...I judged his bitch Sally, at a prestigious lurcher show, many years back... I awarded her Supreme Champion... As I handed him, the coveted Red rosette, he said to me, "I'm off to win the racing now"... He did just that...RIP Geoff Fletcher,.."King of the Sprinters"?2 points

My thoughts, for what they are worth; big difference to being a successful, proper poacher/countryman, to being someone that doesn't really give a f**k ?2 points

And a big thank you to Fred90 who i should have mentioned in my first post, if it wasn't for his recommendation of Netmaker I wouldn't have my new nets!2 points

Baught a book. Not for his excellent writing skills, or immense knowledge on terriers and terrier work? I baught it because there were a few lads in the book that i know. Simple as that. For every book or article that's read, there all pennies that turn to pounds. I'm sure not everyone knew he was a c**t from the start. Usually takes a snake a while to come outa the long grass. I'm not on Facebook (thank god!), so only info I get is from here.2 points

It’s very regulated, re the dangerous wild animals act that came in during the 70s, big flaw it only became illegal to release them around 83 so any one that owned one and did not want to comply with the act were perfectly within there rights to take them off to Bodmin,Dartmoor and various other remote locations and simply let them go ?2 points

Think I misunderstood where you were coming from. I don't know how mate. But if they suspend parliament to do it I'd be happy with that. Christ this does need sorting. We need to move on. Don't think I could trust any MP's any more. They have deserted the people. Cheers Arry2 points

This gun brings back some memories a pocket full of marksman pellet's and a 4x20 scope. I had a rabbit with one of these too. Mine was stamped el gamo but missing the sticker. I remember buying it from a gun shop In Harrogate called the way of the warrior for £18 it was my birthday and I got 20 quid in a card I got this gun and a tin of marksman pellet's and a 4x20 scope for 20 quid in the mid 1990,'s . I got the rabbit at about 8 yards and my grandma cooked it in a slow cooker. I was so proud when we ate it.2 points

A cocker will be nothing like a long dog, a long dog will be happy with a hour a day exercise but a cocker will still be getting warmed up lol weigh up what you can offer the dog more than what it can offer you ?2 points

Kevin Clean does that signal eat me or shag me greyman ? My birthday today the Mrs got me a trailcam looks like expensive kit to leave laying around. Like you I spend most my time this time of year wondering around land that hasn't been touched in 50year and I'm certain only I visit it. Lots of animal trails criss cross it so if I get any moggie related stuff you will be the first to know mate.?2 points
