Was out last night with a very nice black and white 12 month old beddy x whippet pup ?

Old fishing pal of mine finally got his dream catch over the last few years he been chasing a GT on the fly rod , after a few bad luck trips and horrendous weather he hooked and landed this beaut , he don’t fish much in the U.K. and saves his pennies from his continental lorry driving he got his reward with this hard fighting fish

When I lived up that way I went out with one of these “tumblers” owned by a fella called Sean, I think…. Twas a long time ago about 30 + years. I took him to lamp rabbits around the gravel workings back of Rushton, it missed more than it hit. After a couple of hours, my dog getting about twice as many from alternate slips, we went to Irchester country park area for Munties. Again I was not impressed having to slip mine to have any success on a relatively easy run in the field around the back of the petrol station. This following it missing two on the way, basically it wouldn’t tackle them.

Started fishing for pike this year when i heard they were in a local rez which used to have a trout club on it but no longer has it, was well surprised what i had up there only downfall is word soon spread now its being fished every day for them but they are all being put back which is good to hear

Its an odd advert. What makes them so extreme and how are they bred? I never understand though why people fuss so much about the price. Its £200, hardly going to break the bank is it? Theres pairs of boots on here selling for more than that and no one complains? I think its a fair price for clean healthy looking pups.
