Felt for Keith after he lost his wife mate and he often gave me a bit of banter about my cooking. Although I have never met him I feel he's a good old countryman and would like to think he's okay. Cheers Arry14 points

Happy with how this has turned out, took me longer than someone who knows what they are doing, but I don’t think it’s bad for a first attempt ?7 points

Just been away and my dogs have not been out for a walk during that time. They do have a big yard to run around in and to be honest to look at them the rest has done them a world of good. But Fukc me the first two days out have been like taking a load of delinquents on a school trip ………7 points

A friend of mine got an allotment recently. Digging it over he found what he thought were onions so ate them. Turned out he poisoned himself by eating daffodil bulbs and has been in hospital for months now. The doctor's say he will be out in spring. As for the pigeons, ask Cwis, he knows best! I know what I would do and it goes along these lines, if it's ok to shoot a rat or rabbit eating my lettuce's.......6 points

Reared nearly 100 pups on Lactol,. great stuff, but they don't half gulp it down . The greedy litter will soon go through a Tin,.. but it all part and parcel of producing, good strong whelps... Expensive when you are on a budget,.... got to be done though...?5 points

Don't over do calcium, causes more harm than good. Adult dogs can control calcium level when healthy but pups can't and to much causes abnormal bone growth. A normal diet should supply plenty.5 points

Well yesterday went to local butchers for some scraps for dogs an pup. Pups face when a chucked this peace of beef bone in box was a picture. She's looking at it to think wtf is that. Starts barking an playing about jumping at it. Until her nose touched it an got a smell of the meat. Then she was like hayup what's this lol. Starts off by licking it a few times then little nashes were into it. Next she picks it up an puts it in her bed rest his history she's there this morning tucking into it loves it..4 points

Absolutely spot on I had a lurcher pup many years ago that had to much calcium which caused hollow spots in her bones. They were very painful and took a month of cage rest to cure.2 points

Goats milk is far better than cows milk in my experience. It doesnt scoure them at all. Ideal for growing saplings. Some Greyhound trainers used to keep goats for a good supply. For young puppies though supporting weaning and onwards Multi milk made by SCA is very good and does not scoure like Lamlac. Bonemeal is good too and is also very high in protein for saplings but I wouldnt give it to young puppies. You need to make sure they are getting vitamin D3 to carry the calcium. I think its in most complete puppy foods and multi milk anyway but not in bonemeal or at least not in Hollings bonemeal2 points

Can we please stop taking this thread off topic. The important thing is the importance of pride and how progressive we all are and how fantastic it all is. Here's a photo of a copper proposing to his boyfriend at pride to get you all in the mood today. Stay fabulous guys ?️??️??️??️??️??️??️?2 points

I got pulled over by 2 fat arse traffic coppers hiding in an unmarked car on a showroom forecourt in the middle of the night, pointing the gun up the hill to where the limits change a couple of years ago lol2 points

Not digging at you, just a conversation, but I heard that type of stuff for years “Then men on the ground don’t support it”……and I always think “Well, why do it then?” Like, I couldn’t be a traffic warden or a traffic copper or one of these civil enforcement blokes if I was starving to death…..literally ! If they don’t like it, why do they do the job ? …….I suspect most lads here have always just turned it in and found something else when faced with something they didn’t like or that didn’t sit right so I don’t think coppers can hide behind that excuse. Its takes a certain ty2 points
