My lovely granddaughter survived her heart operation last year and made a full recovery .that alone was magical .but since then I have gave my daughter and her family there first pet .this was given to me on fathers day .best pic ever

On checking the forecast I was relieved to see that there was a window between the thunderstorms of a few hours so decided to go and have a look for some rabbits. I had to dodge the showers a bit but not too bad. I initially headed to a bit of ground I haven't shot for over a year , got chased off 1 field by some frisky cows ( bovine variety ). Quite a few rabbits about so looking good but did get a couple with signs of myxy so hope it doesnt take hold. View from top of the hill....

I look at it like this . If you look at the size of a badger and think about how much protein an animal of that size needs to keep healthy? Anyone who keeps dogs will know how much food they need . Multiply that by however many there are in a sett , then multiply that by how many setts there are on the ground and you will start to appreciate how much they eat and how much wildlife is disappearing to satisfy the protein intake. I’d take the x - ray & a written report from your vet back to the emergency vet & get a full refund, not because it’s about the money, just because they don’t deserve a penny after missing a broken leg. I’d make it well known in your local area for people to stay clear of them as well, not everyone would’ve got the 2nd opinion, could’ve finished the dogs career before it started if you didn’t, but at that age I wouldn’t be too worried it’ll fuse up fine with right treatment
