Old age comes to us all, a few months back, I was a fit and happy bloke thanks to my lifestyle with my dogs n ferrets, out every day no matter what the weather, but all that has come to an abrupt end, my lady has been diagnosed with an incurable illness, so the dogs and ferrets had to go, and that alone made me ill and sad, but I had to get my priorities in order, so now im a 24 hr carer, the district nurse calls in once a week to check up on her, and gives me prescriptions for her, I do the rest, bathe and dress her wound, I could easily write several pages on my life with my lady , but I7 points

On behalf of my Mum and I, thank you for posting about Jim's sudden and unexpected death. Sadly, Knockerbox Repairs is now closed and there is no further stock available. I know that Dad would want to wish you all the best of luck in the future and that your boxes and collars will hopefully provide you with many years of happy hunting.6 points

One of the farmers had spoke about a lot of rabbits in 1 field were I don't often go and hes' little grass on due to the short fall in rain. Mr wilk and I had decided to have a little drive over to run a net out and see how we fared. Wind was poor and the sky as clear with the moon sitting low but we was there so we give it a go. Working together we ran 2 x 50yd nets out along a hedge line and then made our way around the back of the rabbits walking the field in. due to the house lights lighting up the fields it was possible to see the rabbits getting up. It was good to see even watching5 points

went out last nite at 8.30 , the wind was very favorable blowing down the wood line strate into my face , I put out 3 tins of dog meat , with mixer , and some chicken wings at 150 yards from the truck , had the .223 sat on bean bags on the bonnet, loaded and safety on got back in the truck, with the passenger window down, looking out thro with the nite spotter, the fist one came along after about 10 minutes, I shouted at it but I don't think it heard me as it just kept munching away , I waited till it was head on and took the shot in the bib (bottom fox)' it hit the deck , gam4 points

To expect anyone to look after dementia patients in a home environment is a huge ask,its not as simple as just making sure they are dressed & fed & any meds administered, a lot are doubly incontinent , you have to sleep sometimes so unless you have a dedicated army of helpers its near impossible . Sometimes the decision is taken out of familys hands by social services if they cant provide the level of care needed ?3 points

Isn't it sad and discussing how our old are treated I mean the government cut the Shiite out of the funds that help them after taxing them their whole working lives they just worked to survive and when need our nations help they get let down badly, now what boils my blood is the way our self serving elite rob them all their days and cry poverty then in the blink of an eye bring in millions of non compatible gimmiegrants and bend over backwards to look after them yet turn their backs on our own vulnerable. Shame on them3 points

It's the blacks plain and simple and it's engrained in their DNA not to work and be lazy and constantly fight over turf and hoes, everywhere in the world they have settled they have turned it into a drug fuelled war zone the only difference is the dress code, in Englandistan they wear balaclavas where in the African home countries they wear head dresses but still live the same and act the same, there is something lacking in the blacks mindset that makes them want to advance and do well and stop renting out they momas asses. Maybe it's lack of other hominid DNA3 points

Well with pav buying a new toy (vulcan) it was decided to go test it out. So last night we set off to a nice little perm &after a quick zero we set off and 1st few fields saw a dozen in the bag and as we were heading through a gate alan spots a couple of rats in sheep feeders and we both got the drop on them but mine managed to bounce into dry stone wall . We drove to another spot 1/2 mile away and we heard a weird screaming noise and on closer inspection we saw a big rat trying to kill a baby hedgehog so alan plugged it .his new toy was doing the job no bother and we caŕried on shootin2 points

It's easy to show a sapling to much work This pup was very keen this morning but gibbed after trying to tackle Marley in number2 points

Pups have zero impulse control, the impulse to act on stimulation at that age is instinctive , if it moves, grab it I won’t confront a pup for displaying an excited mind or behaviour , it’s a state of mind you have to work with !! Pups construe the world though a predator/ prey ratio” what causes me to feel predator like” is tagged as positive and” what stops me” is tagged as a negative , Us included so by the time sexuality strikes and your still seen as a positive, serious training becomes a lot easier manage the pup so you don’t have to confront because if you don2 points

It's understandable the bitterness in Northern Ireland . People have lost family members on both sides and of course they will find it hard to just forget and brush it under the carpet. They say it takes 3 generations before the pain eases and people move forward. Already the kids are moving in the same circles. It's the older lot that are spitting out hatred to each other and trying to drag their kids into their perspectives and ideals. Shame on the old folk really because the young uns have enough bottle and courage to move forward and they will without staunch protestants or bitter Catholic2 points

There's a lot of familiarity in all of this. Predation of vulnerable kids. People in positions of power. Authorities either refusing to investigate or actively covering it up. It's been on NPR since the story broke and there was an interesting interview with the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro. They've been meticulous in their investigation and they've genuinely broken the mould when it comes to investigating these despicable crimes. The attorney general's office is pushing for reformation of their state's statute of limitations laws that have allowed all of these priests t2 points

Its heartbreaking for close family of those suffering from dementia its also a hard demanding energy sapping job for the dedicated carers who look after them .It mind sound harsh but my wife who cares for some with dementia working 12 hour night shifts on a rota says when they pass away its a blessing.2 points

Dogs are like kids - they mature at different ages. With kids, you get parents wanting them do do this or that at 3 or 4 years old. and they becomr absolutely distraught if Johnny next door is tying his laces, or spelling his name before their own little Kevin. The reality is that -with a bit of encouragement - they can ALL tie their laces and spell their names before they get to 8 or 9. Likewise with dogs. Everyone is in a fearful hurry. Fine to play around teaching a 10 week old pup to chase you when called, but at the end of the day it's far easier to train a dog at 5-6 months than it is a2 points
