I don’t think anyone wants to go back to dead babies and rickets.....that’s just sarcastic nonsense........what they want to go back to is a few morals, a sense of community and a bit of social responsibility. I personally don’t think they are bad things to aspire to.10 points

I was having a convo with me Mother today about how life used to be , it started when we where on about the amount of plastic we get. bottles etc, I said folks in the 60& 70's had 1 metal bin that was emptied each week. we composted, the milk man had the glass bottles back, you grew your own veg , the dog had the scraps, we had bread delivered in a wax wrapper & meat off the butcher that was wrapped in white paper, that all went on the compost heap, none of this 3 bins malarky. You had your gas of the gas board , electric off the MEB your phone was BT if you was lucky enough7 points

Anybody not affiliated with a hunt has always been blamed for their actions ,seen it many times and been blamed myself .There are those in hunting who couldn't give a f**k about the sport as a whole or fox control of any sort and delight in putting the layman down .Unless a farmer is mad keen on hunting he wants to see control not just a jolly of hooray Henry's riding whooping and getting pissed on horse back .I shoot and dig in hunt country on permission and I know my name is mud with local pack lol,a pack I dug with for years and I've been blamed for loads of things I've heard from mates s5 points

It's funny because most lads I know who get involved with hunts soon forget where they came from, who used to take them out , brings out the worst in folk...... And some of the excuses when on an earth are f***ing comical.... Any dog man that trys to shift blame to another dog man is first class prick in my book.4 points

That was the bit that pricked my ears up, and probably what made this whole thing much clearer to me.........."if you read something online, and you can't see the product, YOU are the product !" "We can't make you do this, but we will try to put you off doing that" I don't know if this is turning out to be Orwell or Huxley (or a bit of both), but I think there's still so,so many people who haven't grasped the gravity of what is unfolding here. An this is an issue on the whole of the 'net - maybe Zuckerberg has been nominated to try to 'deal' with this ? He has 5hitloads of money and4 points

Thought I would try my hand at a little decoying session over spring barley, just sown. This time of year, decoying, I have always gone shot gunning as the tree and ground cover is so barren . Anyway I thought a good test to get them landing close to me with the lack of cover and also using a spring powered air rifle. First bird to land instantly clattered away. Second - the same. 3rd, 4th, 5th - all instantly clattered away, - something is badly wrong ? I h3 points

I agree in some cases their was a lack of good parenting though in certain cases in the Rotherham CSE they was a young girl who came from a decent hard working family and I was shocked when I found out who her father was the same father who was arrested and later made to go on a diversity course for getting his daughter away from these vermin that at the time were protected by labour councillors and the police hard to believe I know but that was the reality at the time when these Pakistani grooming gangs were at their peak and not forgetting the white English scum who dealt with this vermin in3 points

The bin men here are quite good, well the ones on the round at the min are, they do tend to change regular , i guess running behind a bin wagon aint for anyone but the young & super fit... I have found the net invaluable to get my grocery's delivered ... but its not a new idea , meat, milk, mail, bread , coal , the paper was all delivered when I was a kid. my mom shopped daily at the corner shop for the rest Its pretty much what I do now , once a month for frozen & tins etc & the co op for milk & bits a pieces & the paki shop for bread , I inherited my moms frugal ou3 points

Parents who are not upto the task. Not only do we have a problem with the muslims, also a BIG problem with a lot of our own kind. The whole country needs an entire overhaul, something that will take a few generations, if not an impossible task3 points

Typical stinking attitude of "some" hunt supporters. Seen and heard it all. The foxes are all belong to them.... their quarry. Strangely enough the farmers who's land they ride over think otherwise when having to deal with these pests. Blame everyone else and happily chuck them under the bus. These clowns are equally as bad as the ANTI's. Fools fools fools. Do they even realise they are out to "try" to stop us all! Shooting, fishing, coursing, lamping, terrierwork including bushing, ferreting, hawking, etc...... Julian should be ashamed and having a name like that too ......3 points

Bad craic, I've found with a few different hunt terriermen that they begin to get the 'typical' hunt attitude that the land is all theirs and no one else should be allowed on. They seem to forget their roots that they were initially weekend warriors before they went full time. United We Stand.. my arse.3 points

Fleet 20/3/18 - No mucking around, day two I'm liking what I see! Just checking him out see what his nature is like so I can see the best approach for his personality in regards to training, he seems very confident should be an easy one.2 points

Mixxy is not pleasant, no argument! But its been around 60 + years now and will be for a long while yet, so nothing new here, can't remember a year I don't see it somewhere. How about a word with the Animal rights idiots who let the Mink free in the UK, the numb nuts who thought it would be nice to have Canada Goose on their pond and the twats who deliberately introduced the Grey squirrel, etc etc etc etc etc Our wild Boar population is growing largely down to escapees/released animals as has the deer varieties...wait for the Wolves to escape/be released! It's about time we stop2 points

As long as you have 2 nest boxes I cant see a problem, they should sort themselves out. One thing I would say is that you might want to look round for other homes for the kits because they can have a lot more than the 3 or 4 you want, and feeding growing kits is expensive..(I speak from experience here as once when I was a kid I ended up with 20)2 points

It’s always best to go over the top with security, i was advised to put a vault locking safe bolted to a outside wall or concrete floor with separate ammo safe for the rifles, if you show them that you are serious about the safe storage of any firearm this can only go in your favour ? good luck2 points

the best mooching dogs are made, not bred. out at as early an age as possible. No lead, no slip. Just out with its owner. At every opportunity. Finding, chasing and learning. Its no surprise that most young lads first dog is often a bloody good moocher. And the same with those of more senior years who have wound back on more obviously high octane pursuits.2 points
