How is labour going to save the NHS?? Borrow borrow borrow was the explanation wasn't it? Massive population growth and massive borrowing to pay for it. Save the NHS? The best they will do is create another short term boom period. So my kids will end up in a country with no fieldsports, no NHS and the only white kid in the class. You must be soft in the head if you vote for that.7 points

The same as many of you are, I’m on the look out for permissions at the moment. I’ve done a bit of door knocking a while back but with little luck (I was a bit younger then and probably came across as too young). I decided to wing it a little and send out some letters to a couple of farms and golf courses in the area. In fairness I didn’t think I’d even get a response and I’d prefer the chance to meet people in person as it’s to put myself across to them. A letter can seem very impersonal but what the hell, worth a bash! I wrote a nice cover letter and used the waiver and permission form5 points

It was nice of them to respond Now, I'll let you in to a little secret that those of us in the know have known for a while ........ The best way to get permission is to show these no-nonsense farmer types that you're capable and serious Here's what you do - you park a little way away so that your approach isn't seen. Then, in the wee small hours, you sneak onto the farmers land, all camo'd up, with your rifle. You stay all night and shoot as many rabbits as you can. Then, when the sun's up and the farmer is leaving his house for work, you emerge4 points

How long after the £2 BILLION a year game rearing industry is destroyed will it take the Labour / Anti brigade to turn there attentions on the rough shooting / small Shoot ..probably before the ink is dry ...Anyone nieve enough to think the Labour Party will be happy until all field sports are stopped needs to get there head tapped ..Hunting with hounds / dogs was first , driven shooting ( grouse , pheasant / partridge/duck ) is there next goal and after that make no mistake any form of shooting / Hunting will be in there sights ..Once ALL forms of Hunting with dog and gun are finished what4 points

A tweak here and there yet lads but she could easily go hunting right now. Here you go, remember, drawing pin heads not those huge 5p pieces. Still to bed in, so yep, I`m very impressed. atb Mark.3 points

Man shoots up a school. Kills 17 people. Ban guns. Man drives a van into a crowd of shoppers... Kills 12 injures 56. What was wrong? What made him do that?! What's his message? Was he misunderstood?! No call to ban cars? No call to make cars unavailable to people that haven't been strictly vetted?! It's a tragedy that people died but why are we focussing on the tools used instead of the intent behind it? Until we fix the intent behind this depravity we're looking in the wrong place. Banning things doesn't stop bad people from doing bad things. 72 murders in3 points

In 73 i had been on the sick for a long time and received £33 a week , not being smokers or big drinkers we lived very well on that , in addition to that i was shooting a lot of pheasants which were sold to a dealer at the Market for £1 each , this was slightly above the market rate but my birds sold at a premium because they only had one hole in them , i used to shoot about 70/100 a week and around this time Petrol was 40 pence a gallon , Rabbit always sold well at Melton and when i sold them there in the 60s the rate was about 5 shillings each [25 pence] , that 5 shillings would buy three3 points

Hello, today I finished this drop point Jäger with a 11,9cm blade from 1.3505 Solver soldered guard from brass, spacers from aluminium and micarta, sambar taper and the pommel from brass with a 7x57 FNT 1930 cartridge. Kind regards Nicolas2 points

A tweak or two still required with this old, classic set up of Tom`s old Bushmaster ( not Bushnell ) 4x38 and the FWB Sport 124. The crosshair on the old scope more than buried a 5p piece, never mind a drawing pin head and a bit of guesswork was used at that range but close enough to do a job, that`s for sure atb Mark.2 points

... practice, I said I needed to spend some time with the WMR as I was struggling a bit with it the other day. I visited a place with good rabbits and soon got into some good hunting. Off hand squirrel shots from 15-60yds from the same spot was encouraging. Next up was a rabbit. I was above them as they ran into brambles. It took a while but I finally glasses that little black piece of coal, an eye. Next I found a tiny window to squeeze the bullet through. An off hand shot at 50yds or so. The next rabbit was closer and I neck shot it. I found the bullet in2 points

Like JJ said £160 for A&M and ratworks are £125 but with ratworks cylinders you can take the off without bleeding the air off https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Weihrauch-HW100-Lightweight-Air-Tube-Assembly-Complete/322763619541?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D49138%26meid%3D0a470e4be9204a8cbca88b7d3ea5e926%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D322659108004%26itm%3D322763619541&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-12 points

If I lived that close to civilisation I'd invest in a mountain bike! Just out of curiosity though. Which is more damaging to the environment? My 30-year-old Dodge that does 60 miles a week? Or a brand new Tesla that requires toxic chemicals for the batteries and draws its charge from fossil-fueled power stations?2 points

Bang on fella! Bang on. Blair’s labour didn’t really care for the issue either way, they only cared for the votes in it. Corbyn’s labour are ideologically and radically opposed to our lives. They hate us and consider us barbaric psychopaths who need dragging into the modern liberal world! We shouldn’t overlook that. I can see how their look into the greyhound racing industry will be a prelude to greater animal welfare legislation with the end game of banning folks from culling their own stock. It’ll all be traceable by chipping and any dogs/stock not euthanised by a vet and having been de2 points

Hey Guy’s, I went to a new property today that only holds a few , had a great day out , we didn’t catch many, only bolted a few, but the weather was fantastic, and I got the opportunity to meet Bryce, and his son Aden. Aden was keen to learn, and before today had never handled a ferret, he was like a duck to water. It was very rewarding, to be able to pass on some knowledge, and watch this young man enjoying the day. It’s definitely not about numbers on days like this. It was one of the best days I have had in awhile. Will post a video in the coming days2 points

Actually, you are to blame........the society that folk of your political persuasion have fostered and encouraged, the barriers you broke down are directly responsible for those kids deaths imho The United States has always had guns and yet school kids were not wasting each other en masse in the 50s.......same as kids were not stabbing each other in London to the tune of eighty deaths a year in that era. In a world where every taboo is now a human right, where rappers who celebrate death, rape and robbery are made millionaires and looked upto as some kind of social commentator to be2 points
