I think the very fact that we all tend to have so many of these type of conversations on here means we sense something is amiss.....we can’t put our finger on it but we feel somethings wrong which means something is wrong. Always trust your instincts8 points

Made me really sad reading this ,I never would of thought it ,the end of a golden era ,a hero like socks beaten to it by a mediocre death bringer like Walhie ,like all the greats time and a debauched lifestyle has slowed him down ,inevitable I suppose ,but still brings tears to the eye .6 points

To be honest I've never been that big on physical contact with other folk, don't get me wrong I love to see family etc but if I can't see them for a few weeks it's no Biggie. The Mrs on the other hand is getting affected quite badly. I think a lot of people that hunt, fish etc are basically loners.5 points

That there guberment of ours said stay home this bank holiday and they ment it ,family of eejits drove 200 miles from london to Torquay to fish but never wet a line.Arrested ,fined and told to go home in short sharp jerky movements .Forget what you think over 10.000 dead and rising unless its your farm your stepping out the front door of then keep um in the safe and get to level 90 off candy crush . The powers that be were on about a slow return to normal after easter but every ned that partys, raves drives to the beach just extends the lockdown so decide what you want but stay safe4 points

I live on a livestock farm and so the lurcher has to be trustworthy and I've thankfully never had any problems although the current one took a while to earn my trust. However, any dog around new lambs sets me on edge. Their jerky movement and rushing around has to be a big temptation for any predator, especially a running dog, and I'd rather just keep away from them.4 points

Sometimes old arrest warrants have a habit of resurfacing at the most inopportune moments, and foreign police aren't as understanding as they could be,wrong place wrong time,it could have been far worse ? Recent lesson learnt, always wear a mask ?4 points

The first week of our enforced lockdown i got a call from a good friends son. A fox was visiting him every night and taking chickens from around the yard. He has several stables and horses, a cattery and his own personal dog kennels on this yard. He also owns the field directly behind the yard and the one to the right of that one. I have shot foxes for him here before and it is a good little spot, easy access and the fields rise up in front of you. I entered his farthest field through a metal gate and turned immediately left. I had stopped in a gate hole with a hedge running away from me separ3 points

Watched loads of football documentaries last few days on amazon and Netflix ... Sunderland till I die season two ...better than the first one but felt rushed Bobby robson ...absolutely quality one night in Turin ...enjoyed it again class of 92....still think it’s the best modern era doc . Giggs is suprisingly funny don’t take me home ...wAles euro campaign. Really good and tinged with the ghost of Gary speed Gascoigne..funny and sad , like the man . Still to watch everyones second team / iron men both about West Ham and although not football3 points

Can’t stand them myself but I have done community service in the dogs home and the dented tins from supermarkets or damaged packets was what the dogs were fed, things may well have changed since then as I’m a good boy now and this was 35/40 years back, i even managed to get fired from my community service when they came back from lunch early and caught me bang to rights reversed into the store loading my van up with it, in my defence there was always lots more donations than they actually needed, which could be another reason some ends up in the bin ?3 points

Plott history is very secretive. Its like joining a secret society.Your a plottman or not.I have talked to a few who were close to plott family and there's no proof of bulldog blood Alot of curs and Feist squirrel dogs will be brindle and some of them are scared of a squirrel lol.In the pure lines of plott they will throw a buckskin every now and then. Plotts don't live to be old generally.Plottmen start the season with a dozen dogs.Sometimes they won't have but one by end of season but nothing gets away bear or hog.3 good bred plotts will stretch a medium sized black bear. But they will die for3 points

I owned a Beddy/whippet bitch,about21",a few decades ago now.I paid about £20 for it at 14 months of age and the lad was sick of it because it chased hard and would not strike.I spent a few months getting used to the bitch, building up its confidence with a few drops and getting it out with the ferrets and run after run after run.Eventually the dogs feet and brains came together and it had a very useful first season on the rabbits and picked up a bit of feather. The bitch was fleet footed, quick to learn and in its second season was becoming a decent mutt around the warrens with the ferrets and w3 points
