  3. Had a mooch around the cow field next to the rape to finally try the NV on the 17.Not a bad start 2 within 5 minutes of pulling up, still light. First one a good clean head shot at 90 yards then next 75 yards. This was before even getting to the cow field. As I got to the field no sign of the cows, they were in the next field, winner game on. I thought it strange that there was no rabbits about? Now this field is usually bouncing. Then a quick scope around i spot a vixen with a cub in tow. Sods law no caller! Tried a mouth squeek but couldn't get them in to a good back stop?

  4. when I was a kid in the 70s I had saluki bred lurchers good hare killers, and I bred from them, and some were sold to other parts of the country, and others did the same up and down using good dogs from other areas, and as a result of sensible breeding and buying pups from other lads, we have the coursing dogs of today, if lads was frit of being called peddlers we would still be messing about with all sorts of rubbish, if good beddys are that rare rescue them, be remembered for doing something positive, ok surplus pups get sold on but that's not peddling. not aimed at anybody just an observati

  5. I had to pop down to the coast to see my brother this evening and as an afterthough took a rod in the hope of grabbing an hour's mullet fishing. Unfortunatly it was obvious that I either I was too inept to tempt one or had left it a bit late in the season and they were no longer in the river. Bread certainly had no pulling power so I tried a bunch of maggots. I had one bite that produced a suicidal 2 inch bass and one other that resulted in this!

  10. Some of you may have already seen this video as it has built up quite a bit of traction online. To set the scene I was fishing on my own - as I often do, on my 16ft Orkney 520. Intended target was porbeagle sharks over a group of reefs and ground. I will let the video tell the rest of the story....

  19. Truth is, no one gives a shit about liberty anymore. No one believes in tyranny. I remember when it came out that security services were recording our data and everyone simply said “oh well it’s impossible for them to go through it all”. Frankly I was probably one of them! Ill say one thing and it should scare the piss out of everyone that understands it...... Machine Learning! It’s here now, it’s getting better, everyone is using it and it’ll make processing infinite amounts of data doable.

  20. true, my first bitch was born in 1969 and was sired by a pure called caleb of xeros, his parents were springbarn sandpiper and Anastasia of daxlore, I can trace this line back to 1890s and the saluki stuff in the merlin eve lines are all related to these dogs one way or another , caleb went to one or two greyhounds in the sixties along with several lurchers and one pure kamasi semeramis a uk bred bitch, bred from imported stock from IRAK, flash (caleb of xeros) was born in 1961

  37. Woodga's Video and G Waters book are the best inroad to Snaring you can get but you have put the time in , it is very easy to go out and catch nothing and get disheartened but if you stick at it they will come provided you have patience and some idea where you are going wrong , fence Snaring can often be very easy and a good way to knock up a good bag but I think that if you really want to learn the game you have to be out in the Fields where it is a little more challenging and always remember that " The most stupid question is the one that's never asked " You will
