After a terrible 4 days in hospital with hardly any sleep I now have a new son Jasper Jim 8,7lb I am buzzing not sure what day or time it is any more but it was all worth it ?

Went to my squirrel permission yesterday with the HW100k .177 , Airmax scope , and using AA express 7.9gr pellet Walked around and counted 47 squirrels in one part of the wood . Parts are so thick with under growth , thick with spindly trees and Rhododendron , very hard to try and get a clear shot Well shot six but only retrieved two the others dropped in thick under growth or fell into thick ivy on the trees

A few pheasant and partridge gave me these beauties. 11 game pies made with pheasant ,partridge breast along with onion, mushroom and loads of herbs and seasoning alongside some meatloaf of similar origin but including chillis, sweet pepper, tomatoes and garlic. Not a bad result for next to nowt. Jok.

This is the view from my eldest daughters back garden, I,ve just bought another one for my younger daughter and next year will be renting out my house and buying another for me and the wife so my whole family will be living afloat by this time next year if everything goes to plan, it's not as easy as some think lots of fetching and carrying but a nicer slower way of life, I,m 57 so it's now or never ??

Out feeding some of the animals and spotted a pheasant that I thought looked rather tasty so I grabbed my hw95, turns out our new donkeys want me to turn vegetarian as they chased the bloody thing away... spotted this little fella and I love a good stalk.
