The left wing liberals have hijacked the poppy for their own political gains ... the white poppy is to commemorate all fallen people of all wars and conflicts ... so alongside our British and allied dead they commemorate the death of nazis that tortured starved and brutally killed millions of innocents ... the Japanese that inflicted terrible horror and cruelty on our troops that they captured ... isis that have unleashed untold horrors on their captives with filmed beheadings mass rape of izidi women and girls burning people alive all filmed and transmitted for all to watch .... The wife who is a dental receptionist told me of an 86 year old gentleman who came in for a appointment today, he told the wife how he was sell Poppys in Reading last week. A little girl came up and her eyes lite up as she spotted a really posh Poppy with rhinestones on it, "can I have a Poppy please" as she emptied her little purse out all five pennies. She reach for the rhinestone Poppy with her little hand shaking. Her mother stopped her saying "you can't have that one you only paid five pence". But the old boy said "of course she can, she gave every thing she had". Nice that. Cheers A9 points

Nine's hours afield today and yes I am knackered! Bit of a grey day but good to be out. No foxs seen and very little if no sign. I found a fox carcass on the boundary of a shoot which I thought was grand. No fresh turds or prints. Fat squirrels though, got some whoppers today. Got a chance of a long shot on a pheasant, sadly a hen, I usually leave them but @120strides as it turned out to be I fancied a rested head shot! Shot one went just a little high but shot two gave the hen a new ear hole! Not bad for WMR. Eight squirrels, one4 points

Been after this one since the start of the season , big animal no head , I’ve had him in the scope about four times but he’s either been in front , behind or I’ve had no backstop ..this morning his luck run out .Just in the edge of the wood with about twenty five doe’s and fawns with him he presented a shot at eighty yards through the trees ..how he was holding doe’s with his headgear I don’t know , I’ve watched him several times chase of better bucks purely down I think to body weight .. his right antler was broken of the other side was malformed..I thought he was going to do for3 points

From Dan Russell's 1948 Working Terriers. There were loads of these types about when I was younger but never thought to photograph them. Pets mostly and the bigger, leggier Russell and Lakeland types were what people were working even then.3 points

CA do not give a shite about coursing or lurcherwork, what they need us for is your cash and moral support. Sure as hell wont get jack from me. Local radio today, east yorks area, operation mercury starts against lampers, who are not sportsmen but cruel criminals, that was the quote from the police wildlife officer.Any body told the thick twat that lamping rabbits is not illegal, and not everyone is breaking the law.3 points

You can get carried away sometimes and forget that the hard work starts when you’ve got to somehow get the thing back to the chiller . I’ve still not learnt my lesson. Dropped a pricket last week in the middle of a wood and nearly gave myself a hernia getting it out . I’ve got a small block and tackle now which I use to get them on the mule , which is a life saver and I’m sure my bollocks are only in the right place because of it . ???3 points

I saw a woman wearing a purple poppy today and when I googled it apparently it's in honour of all the animals that died in wars. Oh, by the way, I made sure I punched her in the face just in case.3 points

Since i get 100s of geese every year i splashed out on a 2/3hp meat grinder. I clean the geese and the good breast meat gets distributed to low income people i know, i keep a few and the shot breasts are ground up for dog/cat food. just on friday i picked up the slicer. Been after one for years. Cooked up an elk roast sunday and it sliced it perfectly. i have just ran two goose breasts thru it and going to make some jerky2 points
