Not really big cat but cat related, have just had a batch of cameras returned from an estate in Scotland they have been out since last year, have got some Scottish wildcats, pine Martin and red squirrel which makes a pleasant change, though I,d say the wildcat/cats is probably not a 100 0/0 pure but still nice to see will try and stick one up later7 points

? The genuine Collie x Greyhound hybrids are amazingly varied in size and conformation... I've bred some real streamlined beauties, and correspondingly,..more than a few, that looked like mongrelized grass vergers. ? Some were quicksilver clever and took to their schooling in the manner of A stream students, whilst others were more like me,... and were dumb as feck...? The initial hybridization twixt a Herder and a Racer would seem to offer no guarantees of a particular end result. It can often be a gamble. Possibly this is why enthusiasts so often go for a pup that h5 points

none of it was lies, he told the world Khabib was shitting his self and that he'd pull out, his mouth never worked, once again he tapped out in front of the whole world in record time , theres not one person on this site thats got guts and can fight who looks up to mcgregor , they all know he's a yellow gutless ginger cnut ,5 points

Same round here, they really do just disappear. The odd survivors need leaving alone to breed but the mongs can't help themselves and catch the last couple.5 points

Go for it Jiggy, the ole collie /grey stays deep within me, good clever dogs, my first was way back in 1958 a young 14 year old Boy, my uncles working Hill collie bitch, x Cotton king ( waterloo cup winner, and back in those days Hill collies could work, pace stamina, and Brains, No Quad bikes, every body had to work back in those days or simple you did not EAT, The collie bitch was tyed up in the wee cow byre, Cotton king his kennels was only about 200yards away down at the bottom of the field, He escaped from his pen, and the byre door was a little bit open enough for the dog to get in, were5 points

I like to dissuade crows from around my garden. Sometimes they attack in family formation and whatever is nesting/fledging doesn’t stand a chance. Anyway, I dissuaded three on Sunday and yesterday (Monday) I was watching tv when I noticed something big and black flapping about in the front room. Don’t know if the dogs had chased it in. They might have taken a couple of pecks cos all four were keeping well away. I grabbed it and noticed a chest wound but it was still well lively. Contemplated letting it go for about two seconds. Then the fecker stabbed and bit me on the back of a finger a4 points

He is a pure coward ... anybody with a backbone wouldn’t even weigh up the options you launch in and try and save your blokes ... he should lead from the front ... of that was one of his officers he would be sacking them ........4 points

Got a lovely phone call today saying that my farmer mate recommended me for the pest control on a 220 acre farm, mainly corvid and pigeon but a bit of rabbits and fox if I want to but they are no bother, it backs onto a tree plantation that is just one massive roost, I’ve been and had a look today and there should be a few good days to be had here, I’m not sure how I’m going to fit it in but it’s to good to turn down3 points

Every senior officer who was in on the decision to have an UNARMED Pc on the front gate of the No1 terrorist target in the UK should be dismissed for gross negligence, they to a man or woman have the blood of this Pc on there hands ..including this senior career officer who was clearly never tested to lead from the front ...3 points

I only had an hour to get the pups out for a mooch before it got dark so took them couple of fields up the road with very few rabbits had a walk around didn't see a thing and just as I was about to put them on the leads the two pups took off into the next field after about 30 seconds I hear that squeal and the black pup comes through the ditch with her first bunny and Carrys it across the field live to hand I was surprised at that she never once retrieved a dummy or a ball she wouldn't even look at them I'm chuffed my other bitch caught her first rabbit last week it's a good start to the seaso2 points

Let’s ‘av a laugh and find out. Just having a rustle through some of my accumulated .22’s and thought about putting a few of these air bullets to the test. I also found some H&N round ball .22’s, so gave them a try as well. With standard type air gun pellets, my little contour usually runs around the 11ft lb mark. All these that I tested today were well down on that figure though. Over the chrono the h&n rabbit magnum 2 at 24.5 grains averaged 363.2 fps (7.17ft lb). Rabbit magnum power 25.8 grain averaged 350fps (7.01ft lb). Eley magnum 30.3 grain averaged 282.1fps (5.35ft lb). R2 points

Not checked in lately sorry but fancied an air gun hunt with my trusty 99s. What a hoot. This rifle is brilliant. Squirrels don't go far with a 16grn pellet in them! U.2 points

I was thinking the hedgerows are about 8ft wide, if I got two 4ft boards and put them through the hedge in a v shape, there would be more chance they would push out the hedge, rather than have a straight board and then turning back2 points

I don’t think he did under estimate him he went in there a very different bloke he played all the silly games for a while but he went in knowing he was going to lose you could see it in his face the shit he said in the lead up he was lucky to get away with what he did he beat a team mate of mine in about 12 seconds many years ago and was clearly a talent to watch but his heads gone it’s over the king is dead long live the king2 points

Of coarse he’ll take a rematch, why wouldn’t he stick another few million in the bank.???. If he gets it it will be a disgrace and another nail in the coffin for the ufc but for him personally why not. I can understand people not liking him that’s fair enough as he can be cringey as f**k at times but say he’s gutless because he’s tapped a couple of times is utter bollox, by your estimation then 90% of fighters in MMA are gutless c**ts.2 points

Chill Winston. Ain’t a man on this site with guts and can fight that could tie mcgregors boots...????. Where is all these double hard hunting life warriors at anyway????.2 points

there were always twats and thieves in coursing, those that drive the land both day and night, but the threat of having your dog and car taken away has made things much worse in my opinion, now they nearly all drive and take the chase, it was a lot less trouble to land owners when lads walked the land like we used to.2 points

he sat in that locked car knowing the pc on the gate was unarmed and watched it unfold, the pc could of ran off but he stood his ground and paid the ultimate price ,lions led by donkeys springs to mind2 points

Well I,m not a professional pest controller so don't have to pretend to people what an extremely difficult beast the wasp is to eradicate, and I,ve done loads and loads of nests for people free of charge with nothing more than 2 aerosol cans one to defend myself with as I expose the nest and the foam one to cover the nest once exposed, have never failed, or been stung and for the pesty,s worrying I,m stealing there lively hood I would,nt panic people like me who deal with there own shit are a dying breed, the new generation will be phoning you up to remove a spider from the bath soon so good2 points

Agreed Malt but everything ever written has a bias of some degree. The due diligence of the reader is to understand that and disseminate the information accordingly but we've reached the point in the information age where everything we agree with is canonized whilst everything we disagree with is fake news.2 points

It's easy, from a position of safety, to say "He should have done ABC", or "I would have done XYZ", but very few of us (thankfully) will ever find ourselves in such a position, so we can't possibly know what we might or might not do. BUT, he is an officer of the law, and a senior one at that, who should set an example to his officers, and lead from the front. I'm sure that other officers, and probably civilians too, were heading towards the chaos, to do what they could..........yet he made a decision to do nothing. He, above anyone else, must realise that he failed his colleague, and2 points

Things have moved on abit since this thread, started , John added a drop off bull , and i've talked to few different people who have told me they believed Breay gave a few his Border hybrids to a gamekeeper who mated his putty nosed choc pit on to them and Breay had pups from this mating and gave rise to the smooth coated reds and chocs as well as the blacks , maybe John knew this and his breeding program was based on what he knew had worked before , i'm still hassling to find out more ....i did ask John years ago , but all he wanted to talk about was that f***ing radio lol2 points

Coward. If the attacker had a firearm I’d expect everyone unarmed to seek cover.., but he didn’t. A man armed with a knife can be over-powered and disarmed with numbers. He failed in his duty and he failed his colleague.2 points

I've got to agree, these dickheads that drive the land and leave game lying dead and rob farms etc are shitheads. Not sportsmen, and I agree they need to be dealt with. But what doesn't sit right with me is the lads that do their own thing, some of it on the wrong side of the law shall we say, and think all is fine. But then as soon as someone is doing something that upsets them they're straight on the phone to the Plod. It's double standards and happens in all country pursuits, you get the hunts that think every fox is theirs and slate all other types of hunting, then the riflemen2 points
