Go for it Jiggy, the ole collie /grey stays deep within me, good clever dogs, my first was way back in 1958 a young 14 year old Boy, my uncles working Hill collie bitch, x Cotton king ( waterloo cup winner, and back in those days Hill collies could work, pace stamina, and Brains, No Quad bikes, every body had to work back in those days or simple you did not EAT, The collie bitch was tyed up in the wee cow byre, Cotton king his kennels was only about 200yards away down at the bottom of the field, He escaped from his pen, and the byre door was a little bit open enough for the dog to get in, were9 points

Things have moved on abit since this thread, started , John added a drop off bull , and i've talked to few different people who have told me they believed Breay gave a few his Border hybrids to a gamekeeper who mated his putty nosed choc pit on to them and Breay had pups from this mating and gave rise to the smooth coated reds and chocs as well as the blacks , maybe John knew this and his breeding program was based on what he knew had worked before , i'm still hassling to find out more ....i did ask John years ago , but all he wanted to talk about was that f***ing radio lol7 points

He is a pure coward ... anybody with a backbone wouldn’t even weigh up the options you launch in and try and save your blokes ... he should lead from the front ... of that was one of his officers he would be sacking them ........7 points

Day out with mate who shepherds on a fell , he had been seeing good few foxes about , first spot we struck 2 close to each other , one made good his escape using a river bank to his advantage, gun could only see his ears , other ran straight down the wood and a gun got him at the bottom .second spot produced 1 , was a hell of s hunt but he used all the marsh and was only seen a couple of times.6 points

Forgive me lads but here`s an FAC conker throw i thought you might like to see. Overhand throw and lased at 38 yards. After much practice, conkers are extremely accurate. atb Mark.5 points

Jean Claude Juncker has gone on record and said that there should be limits on the freedom of the press and has accused the British media of violating politicians human rights. He also claims that the EU could've swung Brexit to remain if David Cameron hadn't prevented them intervening. So there you have it from the horse's mouth. You're not allowed to criticize the government and they should be allowed to meddle in sovereign nations referendums. Hope you all use this to finally turn your back on them on your own terms.5 points

Purely by chance I got in touch with an old school mate on a BRFC message board. He's been living in the States for 30+ years and we've exchanged several messages, he now lives in Missouri and this was part of the post he sent me yesterday/this morning. "I can still shoot the .45 in the back yard and take a peak off me front porch if I want to so its all good. Major considerations when buying a house in hillbilly land those two things" Cheers, D.4 points

If you find a genuine bitch chances are it's being worked by a genuine lad. Surly it's easier to find someone who wants to breed a coursing dog to there bitch and just have pick of the litter for using your dog. Cuts out the hassle of breeding pups yourself. Genuine bitch owned by a genuine owner chances are they will rear the pups to a good standard.4 points

I've got to agree, these dickheads that drive the land and leave game lying dead and rob farms etc are shitheads. Not sportsmen, and I agree they need to be dealt with. But what doesn't sit right with me is the lads that do their own thing, some of it on the wrong side of the law shall we say, and think all is fine. But then as soon as someone is doing something that upsets them they're straight on the phone to the Plod. It's double standards and happens in all country pursuits, you get the hunts that think every fox is theirs and slate all other types of hunting, then the riflemen4 points

And that has always been the bottom line. We can (and have) debate all day long over the financial, social, political etc impact of Brexit/membership but the bottom line is I don't like where it's all going. It just stinks of shit. It's difficult to argue against a general bad smell without being able to show people the actual shit but it's there and often comes out of that man's mouth. The less politicians we have the better. Genuinely, I really think full anarchy might not be that bad, considering. f**k em, let the whole house burn down. I'm sick of their (UK establishment as well)4 points

Not checked in lately sorry but fancied an air gun hunt with my trusty 99s. What a hoot. This rifle is brilliant. Squirrels don't go far with a 16grn pellet in them! U.3 points

It's easy, from a position of safety, to say "He should have done ABC", or "I would have done XYZ", but very few of us (thankfully) will ever find ourselves in such a position, so we can't possibly know what we might or might not do. BUT, he is an officer of the law, and a senior one at that, who should set an example to his officers, and lead from the front. I'm sure that other officers, and probably civilians too, were heading towards the chaos, to do what they could..........yet he made a decision to do nothing. He, above anyone else, must realise that he failed his colleague, and3 points

Further to Mr Tea Pots thread on Crayfish Hour with bacon and string , which it seems I railroaded (I have apologized to him). Just a bit more, latest offering already dealt with, I tried it without purging, frankly they are not as bad as I expected but not quite as good...………………. Around 6.5kg in my sink just before cooking! About 80% of them after cooking!2 points

yeh i getting my doubts as well , ok you got to sell a fight, you want to get the best payday you can for both fighters , what is it about 6 weeks away, that long enough for something to stop it in its tracks. i do think if fury does pull out in the fight for what ever reason , he should walk a way from the game, and let Aj fight wilder in April , and i think this be Aj 1st defeat next year , from what he showed in that last fight for 6 rounds , wilder KO him early rounds .!! but i hope i am wrong on both accounts, that fury fights in dec , and Aj dont loose .2 points

If access is a problem they are a waste of time, (and most nests are well tucked away), even if the entire nest is in plain view few Homeowners will do the job properly! I have been called to deal with loads of nests after the owners tried!2 points

Careful, the left will be having them licenced next. It's no wonder they took them out of schools, playgrounds were littered with squirrels and magpies, was a right job for the cleaning staff.2 points
