The planet has warmed up and cooled down forever. BUT, that said of course we are not helping matters. Like all things, the debate on climate change has (imho) been hijacked and used to exploit money (that old chestnut again!) There are massive lakes in China made up entirely of chemical waste as a by product to the mobile phone industry.......and yet the likes of Apple and Samsung are courted by politicians while at the same time ordinary people are handed surcharges in waste. The local council can’t wait to jump into bed with Tesco while at the same time slapping eye wate6 points

Haven’t ventured more than a couple miles from home yet but been getting my 9 year old out with his young hob these past few weeks.. it’s not been easy finding, all the usual spots are dead ...and combined with a young inexperienced ferret we’ve not had much success which has been a little disheartening for my lad but it hasn’t put him off or dampened his enthusiasm any.. we’d had an unsuccessful dig last Saturday and missed a couple of bolters due to cover so we was hoping for a change in luck today. We had 3 young hobs out today and after dogs had gave a positive mark we entered a coupl4 points

The Mrs has left me with the kids for the day and my 5 year old is now stuck on the workshop roof and won't come down. Did anyone here that on the news yesterday about how Scottish MPs now want to stop tickling kids.....as it could be a type of assault! Think we are gonna a big fire this afternoon along with a bit of air gunning. I pity kids that belong to these politically correct types.4 points

Money does matter especially if bills need paying and so on but the best outcome for the dog is too gift him to a genuine chap that the owner (KNOWS) and the benefits of this would be alot more than a fat wallet that will get tinner in know time at all. Result of gifting is updates on how the dog is working and maybe in time if wanting too return too the digging scene been gifted a pup back. Also knowing the terrier has been passed onto good hands for an ease of mind and not just handed to anyone who could treat the dog in any old way. Everyone circumstances are different but if this was possi4 points

Going away from the original post a little. But I always find the lads that try to buy the finished product are the ones that can't bring a dog on and get it to a good standard. Forever looking to buy the 'real deal' without actually being able to achieve it themselves. It baffles me.4 points

Some of the white bits are barley but most is top quality pork back fat, which I would save especially for the puddings. I have made black puddings without the fat and they are severely lacking IMO. In the photo the ones at the front have the casing removed. The dried blood I use comes from a supplier in East Kilbride I know what you mean about the 'boak', I'm the same with commercial sausages and most 'minced' products.3 points

So we moved into this place maybe 18 months ago & our neighbours on one side have been really great, but today the thing I've been dreading for a while happened! My terrier got under their fence & nailed their goat. I'd actually been talking to my neighbour over the fence while she was feeding the goat & while the conversation went from one thing to another, my terrier suddenly appeared behind her. I immediately tried to call him over & told her to grab him, but the goat suddenly come out of the shed & it was game on! The terrier nailed the goat with no hesitation like2 points

Still a lot of cover up but had some fun today for a couple of hour working a thick hedge with no nets just the ped whippets, no big number but its good to mix the ground and terrain they work on over the season.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcpArDE9SSw2 points

If I had advertised the dog for £200, I would have had to answer umpteen private messages on here from gobshytes, then giving out my number to anyone and I mean anyone, asking me all sorts of questions, like why is it only £200 ? whether it would do the others?? what's it done, how's it bred, how many have I dug with it, have to have a trial to see it work etc etc... You missed the point, I said Guaranteed, my word is good, if the dog was a jacker I wouldn't be selling it. The dog's gone to a good home, he will get worked and I will get updates on it.. if my circumstances change I would glad2 points

Terrific finds guys, wish I was there with all your history. Would you believe that I found a Roman coin in the middle of Adelaide in Parklands ? Considering that We are only about 200 years old, its a pretty awesome deal... Look closely at the pics, I actually DID find this coin on 1/4/17 in the Parklands, after our entire family of 6 pulled 4 detectors out of the car for an afternoon dirt hunt and carp fish on the Torrens. A Ministry that had a large tent with displays and teaching about history of the Bible had lost a 1AD coin and asked if we could look2 points

Wilder himself must look in the mirror and see a complete fraud looking back, without a doubt the biggest paper Champion ever. When he's alone away from the cameras he must be full of self doubt even he must think "I fought nobodies to get the title and I've defended the title against nobodies". He's fighting Stiverne tomorrow who he had already beat 2 year ago and Stiverne has only fought once since then, a points win over journeyman Derrick Rossy. To make matters worse if Wilder does win he will be fighting the winner between no 6 ranked Dominic Breazeale and no 12 ranked Eric Molina both who2 points

A question......why does any type of impact matter and what exactly can you do about it any way? Why are we even talking about it?......of course the remaining EU members will just crack on, what else they going to do? And likewise, the UK should just crack on....... ”oh my goodness, the Romans are leaving.......well my good Druid, what do you think the social & economic impact will be?......will it affect the price of wode do you think?” You have road sweepers walking around cracking on like Mark Carney......shut up, the world will f***ing just keep turning !2 points

ok Have had tried for a while and got nowhere. The new setup is appalling. This may well be the last that I ever use The Hunting Life. I really cant get on with the new layout. I hope you all enjoy the forum , but if it doesn`t work for me I have no patience for making it work. Bye Y`all. Ive had many great friends and acquaintances on here over the years but too many forum owners are updating because they think it`s fashionable and required, when it`s not. Hunting folk are simple folk. dinna f**k with their every day and they will stay loya1 point
