Poor old Clem had reached his sell-by date. We were not sure how old he was but his teeth were going and at close to 300lbs his old legs and feet were showing the strain. The consensus amongst thosr that claimed to know was that he woukd taste like a dead fox and be tough to the point of being inedible. Mince or burgers seemed the popular option. I wasn't so sure and decided that he deserved better treatment. Especially after talking to a friend with a Ghanaian Sister in Law . Apparently proper superanuated mutton is virtually unobtainable in this country. So there was one7 points

The conspiracy theorist types always amuse me,not just on here but life in general the way they come across like anyone who doesnt believe what they believe is the most naive, gullible idiot in existence ?....if they genuinely have views on something different to the norm then great put your thoughts out there as they are often interesting to listen to....but to talk about such things so conclusively almost belittles their whole argument in the first place......why cant they just have theories and ideas like the rest of us.7 points

Mate, you took the bait. If Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires you must know that THL is the graveyard of common sense. Don't worry though. This will all blow over in a couple of weeks when the 9/11 anniversary roles back around...6 points

Hello I purchased my first Air rifle on Tuesday a tx200 hc in .22 what a gun! After spending abit of time on my zeroing and then grouping I decided to get rid of my L plates and christen my TX. I get to my permission for 19.00 and start to have alook around I spot plenty of bunnies but due to the lack of wind they hear me coming so I got into the sitting position close to the hedge row throw my scrim net over my head and rifle and waited it out. My patience wasn't tested for too long when a seemly over confident bunny comes hoping over, I resisted the urge to shoot just yet knowing I only had4 points

The “f**k about and we will kill you” strategy outlined there seems very sensible. The major difference that comes to my uneducated mind is that with the former Soviet Union we were dealing with a political ideology that didn’t quiet make 100 years old…….these people are different ! We are dealing with the second largest religious group on the planet and that ideology has existed for 2000 years……it has conquered continents and spawned empires. I think it’s a mistake to think about Islamic groups in isolation……hurt one Muslim and you hurt them all. They will all hate you equ3 points

Well, I was bored yesterday so picked up my HW95 .177 a tin of pellets and went out to a permission near me. Didn’t see much at all, not one rabbit, but as I walked the permission thinking it’s time to go home I noticed a young oak tree which had 5 squizzers after the acorns on the upper most foliage. So I sat down against a fence post in the shade in a normal t-shirt, camo trousers, camo hat & gloves, set my shooting tripod up and loaded the 95, I was about 30+ yards away I’d say, never even had my rangefinder with me. Anyway shot the first squizzer, a youngster, stone dead head shot2 points

This pup is a week old this morning .Last night we had a surprise tornado to come through.I took this pup off the bitch during the storm as sometimes a bitch will kill a pup during a tornado from anxiety. As this is the only pup I couldn’t risk it.As I sat holding this pup I began to think of the time her mother caught the coon in the middle of the river. Then I remembered when this pups sire had coonhound paralysis and my wife stayed with him and taught him to walk again.Wife nearly shot me for that one.As the storm raged outside I thought about this pups grand mother and digging to her w2 points

This is part of the issue. I really do understand your opinion. I do. But you can’t say we have ‘nothing’ in common with them. We may have a lot of things in which we are radically opposed but for the majority of people you will probably find that there are huge numbers of similarities and parallels. That’s not me being some kind of crazy lefty, it’s a simple fact of humanity and anthropology. So many of our basic needs, desires, fears etc are alll pretty universal. They may come out in very different ways, but we share a lot of stuff, we all do. No one wants to talk a2 points

It’s kind of important to understand your enemy and also to realise that sometimes you cannot fight everyone you might want to, everywhere you might wish. Sometimes you need to pick your battles and also sometimes you need to work with some folk you might not like. And I agree you look after your own. Just so happens though that I don’t feel a lot of folk my colour and race are ‘my own’. Same as I wouldn’t piss on a lot of Lurcher lads if they were on fire. We might be similar but we ain’t the same.2 points

Probably better of bombing parts of Bradford, Leicester, Tower Hamlets, etc. Far easier, cheaper and probably do more good ? Cheers.2 points

Still on my bucket list is a trip on the Ghan Railway. Named after the Afghani camel herders that were shipped into Oz with the camels to open up the interior. Its about a five day trip from one end of Oz to the other, stopping off in places like Aires Rock and Alice Springs. Cheers.2 points

All the time we were giving these people a kicking in their own lands it was never a problem……it’s when we invited millions and millions of them into our society that we got a problem. What the f**k did we think was going to happen ?……we seriously imagined that we would take a bloke from a long line of goat fuckers who burn their sisters to death, bring him over, kit him out with an umbrella and a job at Fords Dagenham and he was going to be Oliver Cromwell ! This particular conversation will go on for eternity because of our point blank refusal to accept the power of the human2 points

It's too convenient the speed at which all of these events have occurred and the urgency in which people are being brought to this country and elsewhere. There's clearly a goal to quickly bring in some extreme terrorist elements and have them all ready and primed to go when their needed.2 points

Why ? There's nothing wrong with it as it is. Actually ,sorry that sounded a bit rude?. Marinading in milk or vinegar were among the various well meant suggestions for tenderizing the meat and obviously slow cooked stews or curries . And some of him is already bound for the Caribbean route. The thing is rather than just take people's word that he would have similar natural texture to the inside of a golf ball ; l just had to know for myself. Hence the lack of preparation and simple cooking and if asked what old ram meat is like l can now give an opinion from experience.2 points

There are a few good lines of Bullarabs here, mostly pointer/English bull/greyhound but other breeds were added Dane, mastiff and others in some lines. They are fast enough for pigs a good nose and hunt well and don't fight at home. I remember seeing the original type in North Queensland and they were heavily Saluki blooded so I agree the name comes from this.2 points
