the cut bricks underneath are called a zip course it is coursed by the wall length not working bricks so you do that to avoid opening your perps two three quarters one course header on the next if you are not starting from scratch you cant alter the bond as I was toothing in to existing ends, on a reveal up a window (or on a corner ) when doing english garden wall bond you use a queen closer (quarter brick ) to avoid straight joints on your header course hope this helps, these hand made bricks are called ewerby yellows and are not very uniform in length, I suppose today most 9" work would stil4 points

On the TV last night said Swallows and House Martins had been spotted. I posted in Beauty of Nature Blue Tits are prospecting nest boxes and Tadpoles in a stone trough in my garden. This one on the Daphne yesterday. Cheers Arry4 points

Earth thrower you sound like a legend. You keep threatening to leave , ( quite a while ago if memory serves) , why don't you do it? It's easy to delete your account so just do it instead of spitting your dummy out. In short, f***ing grow up.4 points

Been a bit low, you know, winter. To many bouts of cold and flu. Anyway got a few. Raised that one early morning after spotting some a activity the morning prior. 2oz of BB sorted it at 15 yds. Took about 30+ pheasants this season which is good for me. Had to recently add a vent liner to Bessy. It's made a huge difference to her efficiency. So how you all doing? U.3 points

I've been on this site for nearly a year now and I just want to say it actually blows my mind how much knowledge is on it. I grew up watching Ray Mears and loving the outdoors, and a lot of you on here could probably give him a run for his money. Half the threads I read aren't even anything I do or have ever tried such as knife making, but it all makes for a cracking read. I've learned a few tips here and there from some of the ferreting lads and I genuinely hope to know half as much as you all. Anyway, thought I'd post this as a bit of appreciation even though it sounds like I'm being a3 points

There are plenty of people working bedlington hybrids below ground the same as people prefer border x Lakeland border x Russel bull x Russell’s there all crossed for a reason size coat game ness but a bedlington x greyhound must be a pure bedlington x pure greyhound otherwise in your future breeding programme the offspring will get smaller because of the outcross blood on the bedlington atb dai3 points

ive spoke to Terry over the years on forums. He has been in bedlingtons for the long haul while others have fell by the wayside.Always comes across as a honest decent knowlegeable bloke.Ive seen a fair few beddy/grey first crosses and the best was bred local from a greyhound taken to a kc stud owned by j piggin in the 80s.3 points

Just because you’ve never heard of a KC beddie doing earth work doesn’t mean there isn’t any, the majority of working dog men don’t come on here this forum is not the centre of the universe when it comes to working dogs.Bedlingtons did need an outcoss that is true but but it wasn’t because they had no fire in there belly’s . I’ve owned (not seen or mi mates) Beddlingtons 2 pure & 1 outcross ,they were all good dogs but my first KC bitch was the best worker.if I was to buy another beddie I would probably go for an outcross these days but I don’t think a 14-15 inch beddie that can easily get3 points

I'm astounded people on here taking the piss out off him , yes he's a past who hasn't he's a normal down to earth bloke who's been in a few scrapes , the man might not be your cup of T but he's got more balls than the majority on here , he's been persecuted and watched his family abused and that's by the police (look at the video from Cambridge ) and how the gutless b4stards treat him and his children , illegally jailed and held in solitary confinement for mths , threatened by a Prison Guvenor he was putting him on a wing with Muslims doing life for attempting to kill him ffs can people not gr3 points

I love the peace and quiet of the countryside, don’t really go a lot on guns just because of the noise they make and the fact they alert everyone and everything to your presence, to me it’s about blending in rather than blowing up the countryside, if I was allowed I,d use a bow and dogs for all my food hunting, I think to be able to make a weapon from natural components capable of taking down your dinner is about as good as it gets for me3 points

Keep believing that mate, Ive already explained the situation as regards IBF belt being stripped, Fury was not even granted a hearing by the IBF, he was stripped days after winning the belt. Fury bottling Glazkov lol .As for avoiding AJ and Wilder rematch that is laughable, Fury is no longer a free agent he will fight according to his Promoters agenda just like any other fighter. As for Wilder lol you do know that Wilder has refused to answer every call and text from Fury since they fought . Wilder had agreed to fight Fury in a rematch in UK then did an about turn and will only rematch in Ameri2 points

Not a dig here but you want 250 for a dog that ain't done nothing at age of 2. My pal just last week went up north and picked a Sal bull grey pup up for 150 granted at 250 peddlers ain't going to be looking your way unless it's lurcherlad then he'll sell it on for 700 notes.2 points

It’s not Saddleworth moor but Marsden moor. Saddleworth was looking fine today but opposite, Chew valley, we’ve had four fires this week. I was in first light putting the b*****d out this morning. It started at 9.30 last night. I work on the moor and surrounding area and it’s been a nightmare with this weather ?2 points

Forgot to mention the topic ? Panorama aimed to destroy him with fake news concerning racism and sexual allegations which would of destroyed him once and for all with fake news , but they made the mistake of showing him no respect well they'll think twice in the future as he has absolutely destroyed them , though as he's stated the fat ignorant b4std Sweeny has stated he won't be sacked as he has something on them . . Wouldn't be another Pedofillia cover up by the BBC would it , you know Jimmy Saville Stuart Hall scenario SURELY NOT ????????????2 points
