£ 200 - 300 isn't that much for a dog that's going to give you at least 5 years of sport and probably 15 years of companionship. If you are too tight to part with the money get him a gerbil you tight cnut.12 points

Fellah, I think you are on the wind-up,...nobody is as fecking foolish as you portray yourself...? You want a dog for an eight-year-old, for Christmas...but, you want it 'cheap as chips'...coz you have expenses..kids' bills', etc...? Most of us who breed, work dogs are only too willing to gift our surplus pups to genuine good, permanent, knowledgeable homes. Your posts, do not fill anyone with confidence that you would be a suitable candidate, for a good honest jukel.. Why not forget dogs, just get the kid an X box or some other toy,...a dog is a living, breathing critter10 points

When an individual is 100% guilty,..proven beyond a doubt,..no chance of a miscarriage of justice, but 100 %, it was him, kinda thing...then,..he should be dispatched... As for the sensitive souls who say, "That's ok,.but would you be prepared to do it yourself"? I can only say,.yes,...easy peasy,...I've killed bigger animals,... it is not a problem,...one cruel b*****d, done and dusted, move on...9 points

The boys age is second to the fact that reading between the lines you neither have the money to buy or look after the dog, if you can’t afford £200-£300 to buy that dog then you can’t afford the vets bills if it hurts itself, decent food etc. People should not own dogs unless they can afford to look after them properly and what you’ve written on here doesn’t fill me with confidence...always a bad sign when someone’s primary concern when buying a dog is that it’s cheap.6 points

He’s not kc I believe his lines are mike brown and nimrodel and he’s 22tts. Obviously there not not going to be as resilient to the harsh weather like beddy or collie x type. As long as he’s doing something the weather doesn’t bother him but they do get a bit fed up if your stood about in it a while, he’s put some cold days in on the fell with me while I’ve been working though. If by kennel you mean on the arm chair by the fire then he copes with that fine, I got him for the missus so she could have a pet that I can still work. I don’t think I would keep one for my sole runn6 points

payed for most of my dogs over the years,if ive ever took a litter from them, then it's been for my own use and trusted lads, gifted,if I don't know them then I'd charge, and tell them keep in touch, still got the dog in 2 seasons, give them the coin back,....don't begrudge genuine folks asking a couple of hundred,if it's what I want then I'd pay the price....sometimes all the money in the world and muffing ones arse can't buy you certain blood.....from experience those folks have the creme de la creme?5 points

why should it matter not paying that much for a crossbreed? so it's OK to pay it for a pure? it's getting the right dog that matters papers mean fxxck all.5 points

If the initial cost us a problem, so will the cost of keeping it right will be as well. Don't let your heart rule your head, kids far too young for a dog and you know it yourself if your honest! Cheers, D.5 points

That's my old lady,in the forest in Quebec in october, that was a good trip. The weed is trippy psychedelic old school sativa,I don't smoke but I know a little about it,it's got no commercial value here, grows everywhere on the valley bottoms, there's no history of hashmaking or cannabis use in the land of darkness hence it's just used for animal feed.I know your cultured ?5 points

I care not a single iota how much he has changed, or how remorseful he is today. His crime deserved a death penalty, or at least a minimum life term. The thing that I can’t stand is that, when 99.9% of the population would advocate a full life sentence for this monster’s crimes, why won’t politicians ensure that the will of the people is carried out, and scum like this never enters society again.5 points

Lovely pups lads sure they’ll look well when matured bred for a job can’t beat a good coursing dog over a bull cross for all round work. I’ve got a handy coursing bred bitch here if she carries on until she’s 6 or 7 the way she’s running I’d be tempted to put a good bull x over her4 points

Think the salient question here is should be get a dog for the boy? With the answers given by the op I would suggest that he doesn't, for the sake of the dog, not the least Cheers, D.4 points

You would pay a hell of a lot more for a pure breed, and some cross breeds fetch silly money. The other choice is go to the pound and give a stray a second chance, there's usually loads in there because people buy them cheap so they can get rid when it gets too much hassle.4 points

I agree. Vote out means out. It shouldn't be a case of deal or no deal it should be a case of bowing to the wishes of the electorate, not using the media as a propaganda wing to limit the fall out from it. The result stands but with such a close margin whoever won was going to p*ss off roughly half of the population and I doubt that if Britain had voted to remain by 51% the leavers would have stuck by that either. Britains got a lot of issues it needs to deal with. This should be a case of looking at those issues and restructuring the power base to tackle the wishes of the electorate. Wha3 points

A little bit of roost shooting the woodies this afternoon. It never ceases to marvel me watching flocks of woodies coming into roost. This 99 also never ceases to amaze me. It puts jsb 16 GRN pellets on top of each other. And the knock the snot out of woodies. Happy dog, bag full of pigeon, good air rifle equals happy man. U.2 points

That's true but the phrase reasonable force is open to interpretation. Where I live the exercise of deadly force is presumed reasonable from the outset. Arizona's is the same. We joke about it but the extension to protection from civil lawsuits further protects the homeowner meaning we can sue the assailants family to clean the blood from the carpet.2 points

You obviously a fury fan brookie. Fact is tyson fury 'might' be the best of a pretty average bunch of a about 10 heavyweights worldwide. Pretty shit really, don't care how much of a fan of certain boxers people are. Wilder been fighting no-one of note, and he supposed to be the hardest punching heavyweight, says who?! And he put fury down twice. Fury supposed to be so quick and elusive, again, against who?!2 points

How do you round up the u,k stock of air rifles/pistols already in circulation .Yes you can make air subject to the same checks as fac but there,s many who would never in a million years own up and pay a license fee .This leaves a massive pool of equipment and some very unsavory characters owning it . Dont have the answer but the current laws are very stringent if applied and that,s the problem ,the police enforce and arrest then either the C.P.S or wet lettuce judges let go or give feeble sentences2 points

Your sons too young to own a working dog, most kids wont look after a goldfish at that age.I'd wait till he's a bit older and make him save up for one doing chores etc,he will value it more.Make him do the hard yards, carrying the ferrets, feeding the dogs so he learns hard work is how you achieve your goals not whining for something. If he's still interested at twelve let him buy his own.2 points
