With the weather being ideal to do a bit of bunny bashing a decided to take the young dog out for a run. Had a look close to town to start and although the weather was ideal the low cloud caused to much light pollution, along with lamp shy rabbits I was fighting a losing battle. After a long hard think I decided to try a spot I haven’t visited in a few year, the rabbits were quiet and me and the young dog settled into a steady evenings sport. Called it a night at 20 bunnies as I was wet through to the under crackers. The young dog done well and no lactic problems tonight so alls good.12 points

All of this sounds very familiar. What I get is some random sort of question in reply. ..I'm standing at the shoe rack ... do you know where my shoes are . Reply.... in the cupboard. .... what. .... which cupboard. ..... the one that you put them in. Well which one is that ? .... the one that you put them in.... KILL And this guessing game goes on. I don't know if the Mrs is playing a game or the fairies are moving things around. why the F would I be looking on the shoe rack if I had put the shoes in a cupboard somewhere. I don't have this problem with stuff out in the gara4 points

This is just my opinion , but I think if it wasn't for the bull added into terriers in the past there would be no patterdales (choc/black), they hid the fact bull was added back then as they do now, some fellas get a bit too protective over their stuff.4 points

Picked up a nice Ultra-Lite from one of the lads off this forum with a view to pairing it with either of the classic FWB Sport or HW 77 full length. I even got his signature ( seller`s) to adorn my wall with. A nice lightweight, daytime scope. atb Mark3 points

Most Irish travellers are Catholic so I doubt it but can't be arsed to check as It don't matter one jot, a Knut is a Knut regardless of the skin you wrap it in or the god it hides behind, he would have gained a ton of respect if he gave the crack Ho a cuppa and a hot meal, would have saved tens of thousands of pounds as well so a win win,but he would rather look like the kiddie in front of his so called mates who will drop him like a shit sandwhich the minute the cash is gone, for many finding fame and fortune can be more of a curse than a happy ending, it happens in all walks of life from foot3 points

Poor fuckers. No animal deserves death by myxie. Why hunting rabbits/hares with dogs is band and the use of myxie is still around is beyond me, it’s got to be one of the most cruel ways to kill a animal.3 points

But you would stand a really good chance of survival with nothing more than a catty or an air rifle, I,ve been shooting pigeons since childhood just in case, never found them to contain much software even after a thorough strip search ??3 points

He hasn't been stripped yet. WBO have threatened it with him before the issue is not the nasal spray the issue is the inactivity. He has had 3 fights in 3 years since he got the belt and as many fights called off I think. The organisation want their belt to be competed for, that's the issue. The story has come from a statement they made previously that if the fight didn't go ahead he may be stripped of his title. Personally when there is videos of him offering a smack head drugs to call a random passer by a paedo and punch them in the face he should have his licence revoked anyway a3 points

A warning to dog lads in waterford tipp areas. A white transit van parked outside a dog man's house with a man still at the wheel waiting with engine running a car entered the property and the intruder was seen running away from the kennel block out over a ditch and into the waiting transit van and gone. This van has apparently been involved in thefts and dog thefts in the waterford area. Be extra vigilant as these theiving knacker scum are at large. Just a heads up.2 points

Out yesterday for a couple of hours with a mate to stretch the hounds legs, hounds got a very good hound, didn’t miss a beat. Put the fox to ground, mate said the famous words, it’s a handy spot, so I went for my pup. Soon as I brought him to the earth he was going mad to get of his lead, second I let him of he was gone, give him 10 mins no sign, mate put his ear to the mouth of the hole and could hear him clamped to the fox, I started to locate, heart went in my mouth when I seen 9ft on the box! Phoned a mate for backup! Straight out to us, pup did not let a mute out! Over the moon!!2 points

Well geezers, I've been a bit quiet for a while regarding food . Just thought I'd share a little gem. The allotment, I'll admit has not been the best this year. However, you make the most of what you get. One of the best was my beetroot which did extremely well. Another was the chillis which were under glass. Now, thinking outside the normal I thought what a marriage that could be. I had my usual faggot mix (fry) together with onion, sage, salt and pepper, mixed with breadcrumbs and about 7 chillis and a quite large beetroot all blended. This is, quite literally, a fantastic dish. Whilst it wa2 points

Well I decided to give it a couple of hours before it got too warm today. Up at 6, out the door by 645 and at the permission at 650. Can’t complain about that! Well the sun was just starting to make an appearance, so I opened the boot of the motor, put the collars on, loaded up and started to make my way to the far end of the perm. I got around 3/4 mile before it started raining. A quick look around for somewhere to half shelter, saw me jump in a little vee in the bushes, ferrets and bag in first, then the Longnets basket was slung on the floor to make a seat and keep my arse dry. On bbc news this morning also, with photos and it’s clear that it’s mixi from the eyes etc. Think the virus has done what viruses do and mutated I thought last year that mixi was especially harsh on the rabbits round my way and looking back I think that was probably a sign of a new strain. Hares having no immunity (unlike rabbits who have been dealing with mixi for 70 years) could be wiped out. In 1953 when mixi was first introduced rabbit populations fell by 95-99%....sad times ahead with RVHD also causing carnage to rabbit and possibly hare populations, all man done as well. Longshanx has one in .17 and it’s a lovely bit of kit, it feels very centrefire the bolt looks like it came off a t3, it’s no better than the cz I’ve got but it’s a nice bit of bling for the cabinet we have them mice running scared UD ?2 points

If the locator goes wallop then that probe bar is plan B and becomes the most important bit of kit that you have. I've seen battery's go dead and the question after the dog is dropped! Did you turn on the collar! No I thought you already did. Doesn't happen often but can happen. I can see it been over used too and lads stabbing dogs accidentally and putting pressure on game Unnessecarily and dog ends up under pressure. If you drop a solid dog then it's just mark and dig but with pups or watery dogs that you dig and there is no game then it helps. Break down on a 3 or 4 way junction and pipes g2 points

Not used one, actually not even seen one yet, but I have every expectation, it being a Tikka, it will be pretty reasonable. Starting price is still £100-£150 ABOVE CZ and I'll bet it will be no more reliable, no more accurate and no more repeatable, so it will have an uphill job to establish itself. I have no doubt it may be well made, use half decent wood/plastic, and some may suggest it looks better, but I'll be amazed if it performs any better. Some may well be prepared to pay the extra for aesthetics and why not, but my CZ's do the job just fine, they lack NOTHING for me2 points
