Just me and the young whippet last night don’t know what happened to the fecking storm, the wind was just a breeze, no rain or cloud the moon was lightning us up and it was fecking warm as feck but enjoyed it with the little un ?6 points

He was over a pedigree boxer club years back and it folded as all the clubs money had went walkies. He came to a boarding kennels once to check it out when he worked for the uspca and the owner which was a woman wasn’t long telling him that she knew it was him thieved the money from the club. He didn’t hang about long. Once a thief always a thief, proper scumbag he is.4 points

I can’t see that the feed skip day being of any use to a dog that’s actually worked once fat resources have gone it don’t take long in Lurchers or nearly gone the body will crave a substance to make energy and start breaking down muscle mass kind of counter productive2 points

i think your right about Joe's legacy there mate, i personally think if he had met Jones earlier it could have been a different out come, and the same with Hopkins, but Jones had started to lose fights and Hopkins was 43 years old when they met....for me, they all fought to late, but Joe has it on paper with a perfect record and i suppose that's all what counts for the people that are fans......2 points

Was out last Thursday with 3 mate from down the country. the morning was testing with blank after blank and then we had 3 good digs in a row. Two 6fts and a 2 ft. A very good dig to my mates second season dog. Then dug my old dog in a big place under a tree at just shy of 6ft. Then on to an easy place and dug one of the lads bitches. All in all we had a decent day and had a few pups out for the first time to learn there trade2 points

I can't take anyone serious when I see them with a wooden handle spoon, it's all well and good scooping loose up with it but you won't be breaking up heavy ground with one. I don't want to dig to a terrier like I'm on time team, I won't to get there as quickly as possible.2 points

Mid winter I'd have different weight on a dog, they can suffer and die from cold and wet. But this time of year, heat and humidity kills them, that looks okay, even straining it's not showing light ribs or back. So it's weight looks okay, have you got it to that weight just by rationing feed or walking it?2 points

I personaly think that terriers or earth dogs in such conditioned condition will suffer when the going gets tough for a long time,i like a bit of substance to a fit earth dog as you just don't know how long it's going to down there and in mid winter in a wet cold earth that dog won't last but it'll still get the blame for jibbing or dying..To me it's not my thing in any way,but your happy with it so all's well bud.....2 points
