  1. Still better off than half the poor c**ts that belong to so called dog men and spend half of the winter and the whole of the summer locked in a pen with the only human contact being a couple of minutes a day when a bowl of grub is chucked down to them.

  6. For my tuppence worth, a good diet will give you a small percentage of difference with a dogs stamina and physicality. It won't make one iota of difference to it's attitude to work or gameness, terriers aren't all about physical ability, it's more a mental thing IMO. Granted they need a level of fitness but it's certainly not the be all and end all, they're just wired up different in the noggin.

  7. Absolutely yes, heads should roll! I have said for years, the practice of splashing the name of someone who has simply been accused of something all over the media is a total f***ing outrage !.........it destroys lives with unproven rumours. More than the sack, they should go to prison as should the accuser if allegations are found to be without substance.

  15. Can't even take the piss without someone turning it into a worthwhile thread .Place has gone to the dogs . As to diet ,during the foot and mouth the Beaufort had to feed dry biscuits and pork pies instead of the flesh they were used to and they looked a sorry state in all fairness .The quality of food should never drop but the quantity should be adjusted according to workload or lack of it and weather if outdoors .A good stockmen will adjust food subconsciously through just looking at the dogs .Hate to see fat dogs at any time of the year but like to see a dog starting the day with prope

  16. I was assuming that we were all feeding a good quality food in the first place, my tuppence worth was aimed at the dogs fed on a scientific balanced mumbo jumbo BS diet. I've had a digging partner with the same family of dogs, he fed his dogs on "the best of the best" , he had mad little portions of this and that and fed them at specific times throughout the day. Did it help ? I wouldn't say so, they didn't do anything different than the dogs I kept, he even ran them on a treadmill, which again didn't change a thing.

  17. The BBC's extortion racket can't survive much longer in this current climate. It is a shocking rip off and in place to fleece the general public. Also illegal in the sense that public servants is police and courts are used to enforce a private business. Politicians backing it on the promise when they retire from politics they get a job on the BBC board 2days a week for a huge salary. They even legislated you need a licence if you owned a smartphone. f**k them and f**k those leeches they send out to harrass folk.

  22. Your right food isn't gonna make a dog work but it will help his performance and that's why we should feed good food. These are little warriors going to ground and we need to give them every edge we can to make them the best we can. No matter how strong there drive is when they run hot and can't breath there done! You can't breath your not working or your not working at full potential amd what about muscle cramping also? Think they don't cramp up also? if you wouldn't half ass yourself why would you half ass your dog? After all he is the one doing the hardest part so he deserve the respect to

Then walk away Scot free while leaving the other parties life in tatters. Then continue the slander online. They should be given heavy sentences for false witness.

  37. I had the same thing happen to me last week . Took the shot and heard the “whumph” and watched it wriggle on the ground with its tail in the air . I made a mental note of where it was in relation to the hedge / fence . Went to the spot to retrieve it .....gone !!! Looked high and low with my thermal and a lamp , nothing . Climbed the fence behind and searched the bit of wood / undergrowth , again nothing . So I went back the next day to have a look with one of my terriers who has a good nose for Charlie , but I didn’t need him , the fox had run out into the field about 15-20 yards from where I

  39. Didn't see one fox at range all nite , well up to 2.30 a way , have to say the stubble is like stuck up needles, walking over it . It sounds like broken grass , there is a small wood of to the right of where I was , and I could hear a vixen calling , so I changed the caller to the vixen call and after 2/3 minutes, she came out right on the edge of the wood , and just sat there at 50 yards , i took the shot and I know I hit it , I could see it on its back thro the scope , I walked over to where it lay , and fuk me it had gone , I searched high and low , but to no avail, i waited till firs

  41. And @peterhunter86 Although I’m sure your being sarcastic lol it’s not ok to steal something to feed a family.......no matter what trade your in theft is always wrong. It’s why we get educated as children and get jobs as adults lol

  42. I think it was pretty obvious you were joking mate. I get messages all the time asking me if I know “someone in a transit” as they have just stole something and I always say “do you think I’m involved” to which the reply “no of course not, just asking as you do scrap” comes like we all have some hidden network of scrap theft going on lol you this only have to look at what these clowns are wearing to see how professional they are, if I had someone come out with me for the day and they turned up dressed like that I’d tell them to f**k off home! There was a case in Walsall not so

  43. I think it's the highlight of any terriermans season bringing on a young dog you have bred or have had from a very young age. Even more so when you have parents grandparents etc, it's squeaky bum time for the lads who are praying theirs don't walk, saying that I think it's in the back of most of our minds haha. ?
