Out today with last years kits... They have been down holes before but this was a proper outting for them, Tried 5 warrens and had one out of each. (3 pregnant 1 really milky and 1 buck). After the youngens had bolted one and looked like, what to do know, i put my main worker in also (their mum) to hopefully show them what to do next. But no more rabbits out? Even though i thought she worked the warren well enough. None were tricky or difficult. Do pregnant does hole up alone? FF5 points

I had another reminder text about the number of deer on one of time farms I manage... apparently they were everywhere but even one would have been too many for this chap! I’d been trying to delay going over as my game larder is temporarily out of action and doubling up as a kitchen while we have an extension done and I’d been told by the wife in no uncertain terms was I not to bring anything back. Anyway, the farmer also casually mentioned that someone had knocked on his door asking about the shooting so I had to put a show in. It was pretty bloody chilly at 06:15 this morning in Somerset4 points

Too much work to do at home today meant I missed my window to go on my favourite rabbit perm tonight so I opted for a quick walk on the golf club at 5 o'clock........unfortunately so did loads of f#*@ing golfers!!!! Seriously......hitting balls in such s*#t light they couldn't even see where they landed!!! After biting my tongue and saying hello through gritted teeth and fists clenched in pockets I made off in another direction. Hardware of choice tonight was the 99s that Si Brown leant me to try out. After the faffing with the golfers i was losing light fast so opted for sitting op4 points

Go f**k yourself you pretentious twat BASC , the ca and shooting in general didn’t give a toss for the 100 thousand lurcher men when the ban came so run that all in together bollocks down the road if you can’t laugh at yourself , who can you laugh at ? And in the average air gun magazine , there’s plenty to laugh at!!!4 points

Cheers lads. Once theres a few kess dark hours it'll mean be able to stalk til late and then be in the right spot first thing without any disturbance. Sadly we dont have much in the way of moors or fells here but i'll find somewhere nice in the woods for a base camp. I will chuck some pics up when i give it a go. Heres one of NZ. Love that place!4 points

Some go on about heavy pellets in .177 which i do use myself in one of my guns but these AA Express .177 7.9 gr are lethal at all ranges , i have tried them from 15 to 75 yards in my HW100k . Probably the most accurate pellet i have used in .177 in all of my guns , just a shame the BSA magazines don't really like them ,unless you make sure the pellets are inserted right in , which can be a bit of fiddle in the field . they were shot at 37 yard which is my zero on this set up of HW100k , Aimax scope and AA express pellets and once again off the knee , no pod or sticks involved3 points

I get asked that a lot. The default response is "are you from Australia?" I was asked by a conservative gentleman, yesterday, why I have a Union flag patch on my BA. I replied, "because I'm English." He went into a bit of a rant about how it was wrong because this is America, dammit. I told him that the state of Nevada couldn't get any quality employees so they had to hire in some cheap foreign imports. He was not impressed...3 points

Well said, sir. Those that don't understand the support this amendment has are the same people that didn't think The Donald would get elected. The Republicans are in a bit of tricky spot here. They're looking at a whipping in the November midterms and have been on damage control for quite a bit. Inaction on this issue will see them punished by the opposition. Too much action on this will see them punished by their supporters. They'll have to enact something that will buffer a middle ground and it's something they just don't want to handle. I'm in agreement though, I'm also interested i3 points

Personally I wouldn't feed mine just one meat, I'd be worrying they were missing out on something. Mine get minced beef, tripe, chicken and lamb and seem to do well on it2 points

The planet you live on must be very nice. On this planet, in these situations. The NRA always ends up as the temporary fall guy and they withstand the wrath of the media. Their followers remain loyal because they do not waiver in their message. Some people still respect that sort of thing. The most recent tragedy has started the ban on assault style weapons all over again. (I'm not sure exactly which weapons are not styled for assaulting.) Anyway, a majority of firearms produced these days seem to be built on an "ar" platform. So, we would have as much luck collecting them as we've2 points

JDHUNTING. has hit the nail on the head.america has allways had guns but it is this latest generation of spoiled brats that are not to to told anything by anyone who are the greatest problem.they just have a hissy fit beacause someone told them of for some tiny little thing and bang the world hates me and they think what have i got to lose and what does it matter.the younger generations do not give a flying feck about anything other than what goes on social media nothing else is real.every one these days is in it for themselves society has lost the plot, the little things that i was taught2 points

I think trump got closer to the problem with his comment on video games, guns are just an inanimate object the problem is mentally disturbed kids with access to extreme violence from an early age, games movies and the internet, it's all advertising for the disturbed mind. Guns have been freely available in America since day one but mass school shootings are a recent phenomenon, they also are grouped together as the media frenzy kicks others into action, I think the a lot of the internet, access to violent movies and video games should be banned and the world return to a simpler place were kids2 points
