Well after stuffing meself aplenty after getting out with the dogs over crimbo , decided to give the Alpen a try after hearing a few off here are Avin it instead of a cooked brekki so after taking the dogs out in two lots come back starving like mr Marvin . Not to sure how you cook Alpen so put hot milk on it and et it at first I got this euphoric high like I was on my way to a healthy body and mind , that soon wore off and I started thinking about horses with a nose bag full of oats then it was all gone , I soon started to question what it is that I want out of life and it ain't alpen ,7 points

Just walk around with the ferrets this morning just enjoying our walk and the dog was a pleasure. He did every thing to perfection keeping in nice range checking on me where I was. Big forestry of young tree's so at times on my knees looking up the rows to catch a glimpse as he crossed over checking out bits of scent. There was scent about but in such a big block biit of a needle in a hay stack job I liked the way at one point he heard a magpie chatter and went off to check if charlie was sneaking about he seems to have sussed that one out. I keep showin5 points

I've tried that gym mullarky on the advice of the doctor. Went up to girl on the front desk and she said "We've had a new machine installed today," she pointed, "that one there, it's got everything." I said "OK, I'll give it a go for a while." Unfortunately after an hour I had to come off it, felt as sick as a pig, thought I was going to spew, but she was right, it had everything, kit-kats, crisps, bars of chocolate, bounty's, crunchies, cream eggs etc. etc.4 points

I am really crap with a springer and I don't mind admitting it. The TX of mine was shocking in MY hands, my groups were rubbish BUT after Tim had fitted a TBT kit (not the short stroke though, not needed) and Tim work his polishing magic, the rifle was nothing short of outstanding even in my hands. I cannot speak about anyone else's TX but the work done by Charlie Caller (Tim) changed that rifle by a mile. As a matter of interest, two guys on my RFD's range who were using TX rifles also had a few shots with mine and could not believe the difference as their guns were not tuned at all and3 points

One things for sure, none of us are getting out alive and most wont make 85 plus.......if you are eating nice fresh grub then sample everything the world has to offer...... Conclusion being: life’s just too f***ing short for Alpen and cereal !!!2 points
-
There's a cereal worse than that mate... Special K, you lose weight just looking at it, you have a large bowl and you are still hungry, in fact you stay hungry until you see sense and rustle up some proper grub. Glad to see you relapsed towards some salmon and eggs2 points

Boy, Mrs is going nuts, "is this ok? Does this taste right." "Clean this, do this" . Anyone would think royalty is coming. Any how I spied an opening to escape, dog didn't need calling, she heard the tight fitting cartridge belt and the clunk of the Baikal single. Jess worked three squirrels like a good'n. She cut her tail on barb wire falling out of a tree! She pushed two stubborn mallard off a pool too which impressed me. Later a single cock bird lifted the other side of the hedge, a forty yard snap shop saw the bird crumple only to get up and run!2 points

Send me some pigeon pictures up and I’ll show you what a home tuned 97 can do... I can’t do it with the tx as I’ve not got it any more ! I’ve put all the original parts back in as I wanted to see if there was any difference to standard and it’ll take the drawing pins out of the target card at 60yrd2 points

Do not short stroke it, ask Philpot, or Pianoman how their tx 200s turned out after I did them for themI will talk you through it if you like mate.2 points

I blame the family. They have been filling me glass up with Jameson's for the last 4 days. No doubt in the hope that I will fall asleep and shut the f##k up. Happy "holidays".2 points

People who are interested in hunting and it's history, that's who. Folk who take up hunting for two weeks before moving onto something else tend to not have any pride in it's history and tradition.2 points

Or you could always pretend it was already in when you bought the place, find out you've not fitted it in line with building regs and not be able to get it signed off as safe by building control, have to take it out to sell the house.... or the minute you finish spending your time and money only to find out you needed planning for a new chimney, they don't grant a retrospective application for whatever reason and you have to take it all back out and make good the damage done, a timely and costly exercise. or have a house fire.... or kill yourself and family through carbon monoxi2 points
