I was driving home yesterday when I came up to one of those half barrier level crossings. The red lights were flashing and the barriers were on their way down so I pulled up sharply. Suddenly this car full of Pakis pulled out and tried to beat the lights and barriers. They got half way across when a large fully laden goods train hit them, the car disintegrated and all the occupants were killed instantly. I sat there open mouthed and thought "Jesus, that could have easily been me" So this morning I've sent off my train drivers application form to Network Rail10 points

I have a headache The husband emerged from the bathroom naked and was climbing into bed when his wife complained, as usual, "I have a headache." "Perfect," her husband said. "I was just in the bathroom powdering my dick with aspirin. You can take it orally or as a suppository, it's up to you!"8 points

100%. Plenty of folk always saying they would batter them etc. But plenty of folk will know exactly who abs where they are and do nowt. You can find anyone that’s days within a short space if time. But most folk turn a blind eye to things if it’s not directly effecting them. There will be lads on here who know lads like this abs don’t do or say nowt.5 points

This isn't a look at/woe is me thread.... I urge anyone who has a health niggle to get it checked out, no matter! I've had a few health scrapes over the years and I've been pretty good at getting to the quacks an having a butchers. A few months ago, I had a seizure, which for all intents and purposes seemed to be epileptic (never had epilepsy). I just tried to ignore it and the dr.... Just walked out of the drs today and now I'm being rushed forward to see if the issue is a tumor. Tbh I'm fine with what comes out of it but this is to say.... Don't do what I did and leave it (esp4 points

After spotting 4 last week but drawing a blank, I was determined last night. Left the house with my 8yr old saying "I want to see pictures of any foxes tomorrow" so I couldn't let her down! Upon arriving at farm/work got unloaded and made my way to first field. This field is where we turn ewes with lambs out into, so have to be pretty careful on ID with thermal. As I approach gate (knowing its a creaky one) I get XM30s out for a spot. This field leads down on far side to a small pond lined with trees & then next door drilled field. Right away I spot charlie mooching about by pond. It4 points

So many dang turtles ! Actually it's getting about that time if the year I'm gonna start getting calls for removals. It y'all think a regular turtle is bad y'all would die if you smelled a stink pot ! The lil suckers never get more than a pound or so usually less, but they can make themselves send out one if the most god awful smells! The four smaller ones are all stink pots while the two larger are sliders4 points

The nearest beach is the one I put in the picture. That’s about a steady 5/10 minute walk depending on where you are on the site. There’s mother ivys ,Constantine, boobys bay, treyarnon bay,Porthcothan, all lovely beaches and a short drive from Harlyn. Camel estuary is nice and has a good beach (Tregirls). Camel trail is a bike ride along the River if you’re feeling energetic. Loads of places to eat roundabouts. Nice pubs all over the area.4 points

Started getting pains in my legs just before easter, after Googling my symptoms I've either got peripheral artery disease or bone cancer. Rang the doctors, was on hold for 45 mins for them to answer with "Someone will call you back tomorrow." Fast forward 24 hours and I get the call and go through the symptoms, the lass said I will after get checked. No dates or anything telling me when I will get to see a doctor. I don't think it's necessarily a man thing, getting to see a GP is a pain in the arse full stop, most folk ain't arsed to go through the rigmarole.4 points

Get it seen mate, the lad I work with went to the doctor about a chest infection, the doctor mentioned an irregular looking mole that hadn't troubled the lad, which turned out to be malignant melanoma. That chest infection probably saved his life All the best Mushroom3 points

They’ll never admit it, but certainly nowadays, the two sides have many more similarities than differences. But memories are long, and hurt is slow to heal. I was born a few months after Bloody Sunday, nearly 50 years ago. If I live another 50 I doubt I’ll see a lasting peace between the two communities. Fcuk knows what the answer is..., but pineapple and cheese on a stick would be a start ??3 points

Fished a beach last night with my pal; we were the only two left on the beach and about 11 there was an almighty rumble like a low flying jet and then the grounded started to tremble. This lasted for 15 seconds or so we recon and then from our left we could see a wave building as it went across the beach, started about 4/5 ft but was around 10ft as it left our headlights. We knew it must have been part of the cliff but had no idea until this afternoon how lucky we were. We didn't stop to investigate, just got our stuff and left. Looks like it was within a 100 yards of us, here's the photo of2 points

I got one , it has worked on cubs on the first silage cut and near the den . It seemed to be of interest to them ..... but it might have also been just the rabbit distress call , possibly . I’ve also shot adult foxes that were feeding cubs . I can’t say if it helped , but it didn’t put them off . I only use it on evening or morning sit outs , for obvious reasons . Honestly, I think it’s more for US Coyote shooting, but can work in certain situations. Keep your money and see how you get on with just the caller .2 points

I had loads of fun with her and she even ended up going toe to toe with the wife’s Lakeland’ dog, then after that she was determined to nail him because of her anuty spooking her when she was on the bow perch. Then my pup used to winde them up in the garden when I 1st moved into this house 14yrs ago then realised if she stood in the middle they couldn’t reach her.The wife always loved the owls and used to do a lot of hand rearing they used to take over the house and the dogs would clean them.2 points
