You might have noticed I’m a bit of a nerd. So walking the dogs this glorious afternoon when this happened I was pretty well made up. My attention was drawn by the sound to the chinook coming straight at me from over the wolds. He then banked hard straight over my head. I thought he was showing off but then he did another loop. Straight over me again. At this point I really thought he was showing off and then he set it down in the next field to meet a small group of civilians gathered. Absolutely awesome little private show from th17 points

My money's on William; it was him who asked Harry, if he REALLY wanted to marry "that woman" ! Although old Phil the Greek also has form, he's supposed to have told Harry " one has affairs with showgirls, one doesn't marry them " ! Still, I think Harry's a pussy whipped dissapointment, whose burnt his bridges with the royal family, but Meghan has got what she wanted Titles, fame and money. She might want to avoid driving through any tunnels, though ! Cheers.8 points

Today’s outing would be to my mates families farm after a doe with foxhunter, we got there mid afternoon giving us a good couple of hours before sunset. The weather was ideal for it and expecting to see deer along the boundary that has a stream with good cover along it, that’s where we headed, setting off we walked through a strip of game cover where a dozen or so pheasants got up and headed to the wood. Along the bottom although there was plenty of slots in the mud we didn’t see a deer and as the sun was going down we headed back towards the wood, glassing along the way we came to the last fi8 points

Aye coypu. Best parts of the trip were the travel, f***ing about with coypu on the river bank, lamping roe in France abs getting lost. Smuggling some supplies through customs which made the whole thing a giggle. Messing about in Spain with my two mates abs our bushers, hunting stuff on our own. Hanging out in a villa with a bunch of ransoms, eating, drinking and bullying mushroom. Was good crack, thank god out little gang took bushers not runners or I’d have been very bored. Came home and thought we’d better sort the boar thing out and had a good size male on the deck the same week, then carri7 points

If there is a scrap going on between a 70 pound dog and a 15 pound fox the dog needs put out of its misery and the fox let run.6 points

It's what ever keeps a man happy I suppose, I hear lads saying they love to see a good scrap between their lurcher and a fox, the more marked up their dog is the happier they are, for me it's the total opposite. Nice to see a lurcher that knows the sweet spot and kills quick, nothing worse than an arse grabber. Even the best of dogs get caught every now and then trying to get to the sweet spot. A good fox dog will be able to kill 5, 6 or 7 foxes a week. Each to their own tho, as I said whatever keeps a man happy.6 points

Heres the reply from the Finds people. What a beautiful little object! I would really like to see it in person when it is possible to do so, it has such a lovely profile, I do think you’re right and it’s a gaming piece. We usually record them as Roman to Post Medieval though, as it’s hard to date them typologically. Here are a couple of possible parallels: https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/463177 and https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/450774 Cheers Arry6 points

No one in mainstream media is prepared to say it, but Harry was a bit of non-pc fresh air when he was playing strip snooker or dressing up as a SS Nazi ! He knew he was "spare to the heir" and didn't give a f**k. He liked clubbing, hunting, shooting, was a soldier who done his bit, but now it's like he's been brainwashed by a cult ! Meghan can't be that good a f**k that he gives up everything and becomes a woke, snowflake wimp ! He was possibly the most eligible batchelor in the world, he could have just married some minor European princess to please the Queen, and just carried on be5 points

I think there’s a big difference between a dog that simply gets the job done and a dog that gets the job done well. As dogmandont said a good one will make it look easy. Who wants to see a lurcher just grab and hold a fox and take punishment for ten fuc*king minutes then blow out it’s arse and back into the van. Head like a balloon for a week then and nights sitting in the pen recovering while a good dog would be out the following night again...I know which dog I would rather have. What’s the point in having a big strongly bred lurcher if it struggles to kill a fox the same way a little 22” yo5 points

Seen a bit of the Oprah thing. No surprise that she’s played the race card the minute things didn’t go her way. But as for Harry, what a fcukin rat b*****d turning on his family on worldwide TV.4 points

I’m devestated the kids at back at school in a way. I was enjoying learning stuff alongside them teaching them new things out and about . for the first two month anyway ?? after that I was in clip , routine and structure is key really get them straight at it after breakfast was our winning ticket , letting them have a soak period after led to a “I’m not doing maths I’m playing on road blocks with my friends attitude “4 points

If I may suggest some modifications to improve your pressure. The base brass nut unscrew it and seal it with ptfe tape . Ditto the air pipe and bleed screw fittings ,had to do this with a 30 quid special 2 years ago . And I tighten the bleed screw with pliers to ensure a good shut out. Hope this helps3 points

The 1 thing that I've come to realise in my time of running bullxs and such like breeds is they aren't machines I think every dog has it's own styles and ways of getting the job done and let's be honest end result is if the dogs done it's job then that's it job done ?3 points

Only thing that's really changed for me is I haven't been able to travel about as freely as I normally would, unable to get to alot of my permission etc... Other than that life's still good, myself and family are in good health, bills are payed every month, Mrs new business is doing really well and I'm f***ing work off to go into business with one of my brothers... Can only mean more time with the family and more time to do the things I want ?this last yrs got me thinking about alot of things, what's really important and what's not... happy days, every cloud has a silver lining ??3 points
