I really don't know what the obsession is with pictures of dogs on game part way through the 'job'. I don't like seeing them myself, never mind Joe Bloggs on FB. It just seems to glorify the wrong part of the hunt. In the field it's a totally different feeling to seeing shit like that on social media. It's in context and personal in the field when experienced first hand. Pictures and videos are powerful and can be used for good. I agree that putting up pictures of what we have humanely culled or controlled is giving the antis that dont approve, the fuel to try and prevent it happening. I get what they’re saying, to a point. But, the majority of people shooting birds on the list do so with a reason, I shoot the crows in my garden and the field behind me that I have permission on because they’re a f***ing menace and since I have they stay well clear of my garden, and as a result the amount of song birds I have nesting in my garden is amazing. My neighbors garden on the other hand is swamped by crows and no song birds. If I was shooting birds for the just to shoot something I’d be hitting the robins too. One of my beaters announced his retirement this year . He has been beating on the shoot for over 50 years and was part of the furniture. Sadly a recurring problem with his leg meant he could no longer get about as he would like . I offered to give him easy jobs , like the game cart or just go on stop , but he said if he couldn’t put in a proper days beating he wouldn’t be coming. You get these feckers in all walks of life. They have some sort of macho problem.. They believe a scarred up bullcross somehow confers masculinity on themelves. They are mistaken. If you took a couple home for the pot having shot them in accordance with the terms of the GL there is nothing wrong, but specifically shooting a couple for the pot is not a valid reason under the GL.

One prob with that, your going to need a grow kit, space, lecky And plod currently can't differentiate between CBD and THC plants in a tent so they will kick your door off irrespective, better to buy your CBD from someone who is importing it direct, however anyone going down the grow your own CBD route do realise its a 3 month road from average seed popping to cropping, get some CBD flowers instead,perfectly legal and cut out the hassle.

Pal had the CZ 527 Synthetic in .223 and it was incredibly accurate but a tad let down by the stock, the American has a wooden stock if I remember correctly, should be fine. Slightly unusual dovetail size on the CZ I believe, but doesn't seem to stop people buying them. Howa make decent guns but never seem to get the acclaim they deserve. Both are good options. If they are in similar condition and similar price then just get the lightest, no need to hump around a heavy rifle in the field.
