You can get a dna for something like 30 quid. A mate of mine covered a bitch with a dog but he didn’t tie. That night a useless lurcher jumped into the run and killed the dog. So he didn’t want to take a chance so he used another dog he had. When the pups where born he got a dna done to see what dog was the father but praying the dog that got killed was. That's a simplistic way of looking at it FD, I know where you're coming from but I don't agree. There's hundreds of terriers that get moved on or pts year on year through bad entering, bad socialisation and so on. If you went with THL massive "cull hard" , PTS, never breed from this and that and so on you'd think the country would be full of top notch terriers............sadly we know it' not. As I've said 2 + 2 doesn't equal 4 in breeding, I'm not kennel blind and I'm not stupid either. The best examples I can give from my one lifetimes experience are these breedings. ......Bust

Best i seen was a staffy x non ped whippet. Havent got a photo. Belonged to a friend of mine. God that dog was good. However the lad that had him had a lot of spare time on his hands which he spent with the dog and although the dog was keen as f@*k and had a good nose. It was amount of time that was spent on it that made it the dog what it was.
