  2. I was chatting to the bloke in the local farm shop on Saturday plenty of tomatoes and cucumber on sale. He said its the supermarkets refusing to pay the price from the supplier, they then create "a shortage scenario" giving them the opportunity to put the price up. The suppliers have a shit load of stock they cant get rid of so cave in, supermarkets keep the price at the inflated "shortage level" making even more profit off the supplier and the consumer. Morale of the story, fcuk the supermarkets support your local farm shop.

  3. Its a fact nans can cook. My nans stews and suet pudding or an egg pie of some sort with stew on top was amazing. I am so gutted I don't have the recipes. She lived for cooking and no one came through the door with out being fed if they liked it or not lol. RIP

  4. Yeah but we had to pay billions to unelected bureaucrats, allow other countries to control our borders and get drawn into an ever deeper web of MIS rule. The British people rejected that.... perhaps counselling would help you deal with that trauma

  7. That estate had South Yorkshire police in its pocket even to the point two coppers were prepared to lie on oath to secure a conviction against me at Doncaster crown court some 30 odd year's ago after a run in with some keepers on the estate. A brief from the well known Rotherham solicitor Steve Smith's office got me off before it went before a jury.

  17. To be honest (unlike some apparently) I haven't been able to get out much the last year or two. Work , job hunting , gf , not being able to find ammo or relating stuff, cost of corn ,car problems, one thing after another so hunting has been taking a big back seat. Went fishing for the first time in a while the other day actually. Mainly just target shoot and tinker with the guns I have since it's cheap and I can do it without traveling much . Hopefully I can get thai job I'm after make more money buy more toys and hunt my ass off the 7- 15 days I'm home. Also be nice when I ca

  19. If the reason for higher bills is the the cost of energy going up how do they explain the rise in standing charges? Profiteering at its worse and the government are stood watching them bend us over, it's a fcuking national disgrace...

  22. Dear God, I've just heard that Lidl is limiting me to only buy THREE cucumbers at a time ! What will I do if Charles and Camilla call by for tea ? No cucumber sandwiches, ( with the crusts cut off, of course! ). What the f**k is going on ? Who buys three cucumbers at a time, in the winter ? I grew one cucumber plant last year which yielded 8 cucumbers, of which about 5 turned to mush in the fridge through lack of use. Of course, the gullible idiots will rush out and buy their allowed quota of cucumbers, thus exacerbating any shortage. If it hadn't been mentioned, no on

  39. In the Swedish law you have to pass a hunting examina to get a licence for a hunting firearm. A theoretic exam for smallgame, a practical shotgun test and a rimfire test both theory and practical tests have safety as a part of them. Then you can take the theory and practical test for big game as a add on education. After the exam you are considered to be in need of 4 firearms (typical a 22lr, 12g, 222r 3006 or similar choices ) no fuss with if you have a lease of land or not, life time pemrit unless you do something criminal or dangerous.
