Excellent turnout at the Morpeth Hunt today. Master addressing the supporters; Must have been around 100 mounted followers; Got to say, it's a very uneven pack; Even the odd Welsh hound; Nancy the deer/grey pup and the hounds getting to know each other; Cheers.21 points

Well I looked after my family this morning which involved a good walk however a local shoot was banging away in the distance. Then a mate sent me a photo of his lad with a duck. That was it, by the time we got home I was drooling! Besides, holiday over soon and it's my turn to get a positive test any minute! I already had a gun ready and the possibles bag ready first thing. It was topsy-turvy muzzleloader time this time. First shot I got was a woodcock but I rushed the shot and missed. I reloaded and had to walk for two hours before Jesse's nose pointed her to some thick weeds and sure en6 points

Just my own thoughts, but I feel Blair, Mandelson and Campbell thought we would vote remain in the EU referendum, and Blairs ultimate goal was President of Europe. A man with no honour, no principles and no loyalty.....he would have suited the job perfectly. Now with The Order of the Garter he is firmly established in the heart of the Establishment, and will be able to get up to all the mischief he wants. Cheers.6 points

After watching the African Republic of London deliver that massive “f**k you” to the accompaniments of fireworks and music, hearing that Blair had been granted a knighthood was rather the cherry on the top wasn’t it……will the last British person please turn out the lights !5 points

Well after feeling better I had to go out yesterday. I arrived at the farm with only half an hour of light left and headed straight for the small copse that always holds a couple of roe. I skirted round the copse only to see a roe bouncing up the field and over the crest, thought my chance had gone but 200 yds further along out popped another ? Went lamping and not a fox to be seen ?5 points

What next ? Lord Corbyn ? These Socialist republicans soon change when there's a bauble to be had........ To quote the Great Groucho; " These are my principals.....if you don't like them, I have others". Cheers.5 points

Great pic thanks for sharing. Tried my best with it. I agree with others that colour isn't needed for these great photos, but it is just a bit of fun to see them come to life a bit more.4 points

Evening guys hope this post is allowed. I have recently learnt how to colour black and white photos on Photoshop. I've been doing some of sighthounds and posted them on Instagram (sighthoundsincolor). If you post any black and white photos of lurchers or sighthounds i will attempt to colour them for you. All I ask in return is that I can post the end result on my Instagram (can crop people if desired) This is just a daft winter hobby of mine that's helping me improve my it skills. As a thanks for reading, I've attached a stunning bull lurcher from ww1, I wouldn't want t3 points

I was watching some WW1 footage on telly that had been given colour, it was amazing how it suddenly made it real and you could relate more to the men and stop seeing them like black n white beings from another planet. Great thread?3 points
