  5. If farmers could let lads out with permission in the daytime then it would cut the problems in half, but they can’t. Criminalising the farmer as well as the activity has seen to that. I used to lamp and shoot over a couple of local places. One was a farm that had a shoot on there, with keepers who were fairly aggressive in their anti dog stance. On that one I could only shoot pigeons or have a dig at problem stuff……running dogs not tolerated. They got absolutely tortured with the local travelling boys driving the land and they lost about £250,000 worth of farm equipmen

  8. Beating woods with a little pack of terrier/spaniel cross type mongrels was also fantastic, beaters, side stops and the lads laying in wait opposite in the next block of woodland. Standing quiet as a blocker, the yip of the little dogs, a movement in the trees and then pandemonium…..great memories. Lifes a mixture of many flavours mate…..as I’m sure you of all people know.

  10. They need some of this, you don't have to find the body or get access to it, (it will stop smelling when the bodily fluids are all gone), just put a drop of this down in various areas around the site and the smell is completely masked. Its VERY strong and lasts a long time, I mean potentially weeks!!!!! Comes in assorted flavours, mine must be at least 10 years old (shows how rarely I need to use it) but on the handful of occasions I have used it , its been great!!!

  11. Well sad to say my goose trip wasnt a success as the geese didn't want to play ? 1st skein came in perfect and I shot 1 pink foot. After that plenty geese in the air but wouldn't decoy and decided to land in some fields half a mile away. 5 hours driving for a goose I must be mad ?

  12. I love all the seasons, but jan and feb are shit, have had enough by then and can’t wait for spring, main thing I like about the winter is the lack of solar powered wankers that seem to converge from everywhere April onwards, lanes full of Lycra clad fat blokes on bikes and fields and woods full of Florescent coated idiots with stupid uncontrollable dogs, even the canal is getting worse with paddle boarders but now it’s all mine again and I’m happy ? ??

  20. Of course the methods come into question. If the scumbags are chasing stuff about chucking multiple dogs out it doesnt matter if they catch four times as much gear them dogs aren't being tested.Ive known of absolute shit touted as world beaters using them methods.

  25. That kind of shit talk is 20 years behind giving it p***y c**ts ?. It's f***ing kindigarden talk rubbish. Fucks me off not all travellers are the same. My great grandma an grandad on my father's side my grandmother's mam an dad are romany people the ( smiths ) An you couldn't wish to meet nicer people. My grandmother an greats are past now no longer with us. But they knew Right an wrong. She was always telling me in my younger days to keep out of trouble your shaming the family. Just petty crime shop lifting sweets got caught in woolworths after been at swimming baths lol. So it just shows you

  26. Criminal yeah, doesn't mean people don't have to have morals. What's right and wrong is different to legal and illegal in my eyes. Driving around across someone else's livelihood and treating your quarry like shit is wrong however you choose to justify it.

  27. I hear a lot being said about travellers some justified some not but back when my old man had perm all over .A friend of my grandad and family who was a traveller and what I would call a true sportsman we would take out from time to time .I learnt so much from him .he never run a hare till late Nov but did hunt them in his earlier years with a r in the month .always owned a good dog carried a ferret in a old pound cloth sack with a dozen nets in his pockets .he was a black belt with snares and long and gate nets .he once bollocked me for lamping a hare he said you want to test your dog agains

  29. Monday's Mole Patrol follows the route of Richard the Lionheart. He spent more time over here than in England. This is the chateau in Chalus where he received a fatal injury. The chateau contained some gold artifacts that had been found locally. King Dick was planning a heist and while he was casing the joint someone let off a speculative shot with a crossbow and the bolt hit him in the shoulder. He died from the infection a few days later. His body was carried to Aixe sur Vienne and put on a boat that took him straight through my barbel swims down the river to Fontevraud where his father is a

  31. Ah, I get it now. Its illegal so its OK to be a wanker and wreck the place ..... really?? You own land right? Would you just shrug that off "oh well, they've f****d the place, never mind, it's illegal and those poor lads have no other way to test their dogs" I don't reckon you would. Legal or illegal, if people choose the act the c**t in the process they can expect to be looked on as c**ts.

  40. i dont know ,every dog ive ever had has stayed with me till it died , .but thats just my way , i think some folks expectations are to high , ive heard about certain folk taking dogs out for a race , it hasnt killed so fk it and left it in the field , not good in my eyes , you cant run a unfit dog and expect it to be at its best on strong winter stuff ,so my view is its alot to do with the owner to give the dog the or get the best from his dog .

  41. I have just got back from the pub . I’ve had a great day . Started off with feeding , really early. Then onto Gloucester services for breakfast. If you want a breakfast off the M5 , between Bristol and he midlands , look no further. Proper sausage , good bacon, black pudding and bubble and squeak, and filter coffee, no espresso. I was invited to shoot Frampton court estate as a guest . Me and my arch enemy/ friend Tim were both invited. This is the same estate that has the Frampton country fair/show , and I’ve helped out and been a part of the scene for years , b
