I know many of you on here will have seen my sidekick Ruby the Pomeranian alongside my running dog's on many of my post's over the year's,sadly I had to have her put to sleep back on August 17th of this year at 15 year's of age, even 2 weeks before she died we were up hiking in the Highlands of Scotland in the Arrochar Alps..sadly the old girl went downhill quite rapidly & it was a very hard day for me when I took her to the vet's as she was my shadow, where I went, she went that's just how it was, they said she hadn't been in the vets since 2006 when she had her jabs for parvo/distemper so sh6 points

Yeah, I’ll tell you this lads, if some 70 year old woman made me late to deliver someone’s desk I’d kick her f***ing teeth out…..no more than she deserves ! Do you know why ?….because I’m a proper man !4 points

Young people have always been influenced by other styles and fashions and new ways of doing things....but for generations we also had britishness and British standards to return to. For the last 20 years we have simply abandoned that. Watch a documentary about British history and it has to be about destroying our heroes and ancestors. Watch any TV presenter and they have to be black, or gay, or talk with a 'youth' accent. Our cultural identity and national heroes have to include Mandela, afros and street dance. As WILF said its all we have seen now for so long they know nothing else.4 points

That’s about right Stav, after some comments I heard from some trigger pullers who don’t appreciate what gets done, I’ve decided I’m doing fcuk all next season. I’ll keep on top of vermin though because I enjoy it, anyway, on another note, we’ve got spooky crumpets for breakfast.......happy Halloween, cheers??4 points

The best thing about moving 500 miles away from your relatives is that I now don’t have to endure the hideously strained Christmas dinners and sack loads of shit for the kids that will help them to quickly appreciate absolutely f**k all in life ! No “let’s pretend we are a family” get togethers to make out that all the time you can’t spare 5 minutes in your week all the rest of the year is really just down to circumstances and “not having time” I not longer have to fight the urge like some sort of Jakyl & Hyde inner battle to not just stand up and ruin proceedings because I’3 points

For Christmas I’d like a day without …. a ) getting slapped awake by my 4 year old boy and as soon as I open my eyes being asked if I “want a fight like? “ b) not get my eyes pulled out at every advert break for LOL “merch” / make up / other assorted nonsense that wont get opened until March . c) be able to walk into a shop and not come out weighed down with leopard print jackets , f***ing SHOES , next ornaments or wall prints in hues of pastels that give me a headache . The fact it will all be half price in new year really adds to my calm acquiesce in such matters not a3 points

I agree, “hip-hop” isnt to blame, it’s less complicated than that imho. See, when I see all that American “gansta” nonsense and how they crack on, it’s not really an “American” thing……it’s the 3rd world with gadgets ! It’s normal, natural behaviour but with just more stuff. Over in Africa they would be sporting a big flowery shirt, a 10 year old Lexus and a white pair of knock off gucci loafers……in the states it’s a bentley, a set of gold teeth with matching silly hat and a watch the size of Big Ben. Still treating women like something to be abused, still promoting kil3 points

Our youth are bombarded with it, it’s all they have ever known. Every-time they turn on the TV, go to school, read any media……it’s all pervading and it’s relentless. To be fair, it’s now a second and third generation thing……it’s not just young people. Young people are reaping the harvest of the seeds we allowed to be sown. We have lowered our own bar so much that it comes as absolutely no surprise to see so many crawling about in the gutter.3 points

Seeing as the rain stopped I popped out for a look for ? I have some old rounds to use up which a guy loaded for me years ago which shoot 1 inch right to my usual 100 grainers, so thought I will knock a couple of hares over to feed the dog. 1st spot no foxes seen but shot 2 hares. 2nd spot called a fox which screamed in but couldn't see it for the shot as scope misted up ?????? well pissed off as it came in to about 40 yds. Eventually at 1.30 am called another which came under fence 20 yds to my right , on moving my sticks they fell apart ffs ?????? not my night. Anyway luckily it only went3 points

…and there’s the rub , if it was cheap and uncontrolled there wouldn’t be any £1000 stags left ..stalking in the highlands has always been an expensive pastime , it’s a business with everyone from the landowner down to the local pub trying to get a living in a remote place by doing something they enjoy ..the general cost of living is as high if not higher than living in a town and that is the driver of prices .. Down south around my old place in Sussex fallow stalking is available at sensible money , £100 will get you out for a day , I used to charge £70 for a morning wether you got a sho3 points

Without doubt if you want something doing, just do it yourself, one of the other members who likes to be involved ( when it suits him ) said he would feed this weekend, I said I want it doing today because next door are shooting and I want them to know there’s someone about, 2 o’clock this afternoon he rings me, I said “ how’d you get on “ to which he replied “ I haven’t been, I had to take the young lad out, I’ll go for 7 in the morning “ ?no you won’t it will be just light and I don’t want you pushing them around when they have just come off roost, I’ll go now, so me and the missus set3 points

Mate, you gave her a life that she would of never had in someone else's hands. Lived it to the full. You gave her the chance to express herself.. and be the dog she was inside. How many of these types of dog never even get let off a lead in their whole lives due to blinded/ mislead owners.... ahhh.. it's a small dog, so a piss on garden is enough for it. It's a crime to me that.. my respect mate..2 points

Do you know what mate, he probably won’t. As much as we all like to think there is some kind of cosmic karma floating around righting wrongs and giving the “bad guys” their comeuppance……there isn’t.2 points
