I'm totaly cool with any questions mate as if i can educate even someone who won't ever take the stuff the knowledge they may gain might just might help someone else in the future in some way.I ruined my life,my kids lives and the woman i loved and i knew all the time sort of what was happening but i couldn't put the brakes on. My story is i deb't collected for a lass i knew and got given a car,i sold the car for smack and sold it,i dabbled with my stash and dabbled to much and after 2 weeks i had a habit,i carried on selling it to support my habit etc etc,my misses at the time begged me just12 points

A few weeks ago i ordered a new .243. It had to be a Tikka T3X supervarmint. On Friday i got a call from the rfd to say it had arrived. After picking it up i sorted the trigger to my liking and fit a dayscope to enable some load developing. I already had a few homeloads from my last .243 and a box of 100grn federals plus a box and half of Hornady 58grn. I also loaded some 55grn nosler varmageddons with rl15 powder. Saturday i went to a local farm to run the rifle in and try a few different loads. I used the federals to run it in which consisted of cleaning the barrel first then firing a shot a5 points

I had a lovely walk up along the river bank this morning, around 6.30 am this morning, and I was thinking about my first post I typed on Mother &son, I apologised, to the fellow who originally posted, for going off topic, it was my first post on here for at least two and half years, and there was a sarcastic remark made by a guy who goes by the name of BIG RON, I would bet he is a member who has a couple of subscriptions, and I have my suspicions who it came from, One bitch dog came to mind, Her name was Tinker a red fawn only 23" this was back in the day late 60s early 70s grey5 points

Cocaine is destroying society in general. it may come across as a relatively harmless drug but when it’s literally embedded into the night out routine for the huge majority of twenty to forty year olds on a weekend it’s reaching epidemic proportions. What shocks me the most is the actual people who take it . I was totally and utterly aghast at the state of some of my peers and elders when I go home on near enough a yearly occasion. It’s aging and make young people haggard. terrible lifestyle choice5 points

Get your pup out and about on all and every ground and obstacle you can … better it learns how to avoid things when it’s running at 3 mph rather than 30mph …….5 points

I am becoming more drawn to boxer dogs these days. I was never interested in any dogs that were not working dogs, and to me that was always terriers, running dogs and having respect for hounds, gundogs and collies. I could see the appeal of Stafford and mastiff types but had no need for them and the boxer dog did not come into the equation. They were always just a show or pet dog in the UK. Interesting history though, and it could be that the Germans, of all people, did a better job of retaining the proper British bulldog than the British did. The ones that I have seen in recent year4 points

He reckons they can catch all quarry. Apparently as good as any bull cross. Now Im a fan of a good bull cross but realistically 90%of the strong ones you see couldnt catch a fox in a phone box.Im also a big fan of working mastiffs but cant for the life of me see what they'd bring to a hunting dog.4 points

There's no click... there's a natural bullshit alert that flags up when a member is clearly taking nonsense..certain members seem to enjoy rubbing folks up the wrong way...when someone pulls them on it and gives them some back...the ridiculous threats and pm's start ?it's a small island and most will know someone who knows someone else..so pretty pointless really...enjoy your chosen path and don't worry what others are doing..manners4 points

I used to have a large valium script and i'd only take them for 2 days a week as i although i had a life destroying smack habit i knew with that that one day i could get clean. With Valium i knew if i got a Valium habit i'd never come off them as i have never met anyone who has managed to kick a valium habit yet i know plenty of ex junkies and ex drinkers who are clean of everything..Fecked my script off after a while as it scared me to much..3 points

Some weeks back a man from my old area put up a post on my old towns local page telling us we need educated about kneeling down for BLM and black men. The page has 23,000 members. This man is a black university lecturer and has run twice for a position as a local councillor. He is married to a white girl who is a nurse and he is 60 years old, he has been in the U.K. for 25 years. Anyway, I responded to his post and thinking he was being a smart arse no doubt he said he prefers to have these discussions face to face……no problem says I, I will fly over and buy you a cup of te2 points

If your letting it visit then just make sure you get it a flea treatment. The worst flea infestations come when you only have an animal in briefly. If you have a pet and it's well treated then it's killing fleas as it goes along. When they visit briefly, especially a stray they leave you will fleas and its a ball ache to get rid of. Just get it a spot on treatment online and put it on its neck.2 points

Yes it's a pain if they don't. Saying that I had a dog that wouldn't jump any fence but he was handy when working near busy roads, places I wouldn't run the other dogs. I think most need to get hurt to learn not to, you just hope the injuries aren't too bad or fatal. I run fast, light weight dogs so only hunt daytime, if I was into lamping I'd have a sturdier type.2 points

As Phil says, once off the lead we are spectators. Dogs with high drive are more at risk than others, but then recklessness is a good trait and proves honesty, and the more honest and driven, the happier the dog is in expressing himself. If he runs into a telegraph pole thats just bad luck all round. To quote Delboy "He who dares wins" As already said by Socks I think, puppies need to have free running from 10 weeks old and learn to use themselves. That makes all the difference.2 points

I WISH YOU ATB CHARTS, WITH YOUR NEW PUP, ITS SO REFRESHING THAT MEN LIKE YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT THE DEERHOUNDX GREYHOUND, AS A TRADITIONAL WORKING DOG,AND LIKE ME YOU HAVE A REACHED AN AGE WHEN LOTS OF LURCHERMEN HAVE THROWN THE TOWEL IN, IWAS IN TOUCH WITH THE LAD, WHO BRED YOUR PUP WITH HONEST INTENTIONS OF SECURING A DOG PUP, BUT ALAS IT HASNT WORKED OUT FOR ME THIS TIME, AS THE TRAVELLING,BOAT FARES, AND OVERNIGHT STAY WOULD HAVE BEENQUITE COSTLY,ALSO TRIED VARIOUSCONTACTS TO GET PUP TO FERRY FOR ME, BUT SADLY TO NO AVAIL, THE LADS I SPOKE TO ABOUT THE PUP WERE GENUINE BLOKES, AND POS2 points

Trip out sunday and the first for weeks due to the water being murky and unfishable with trolling lures, water has cleared out and we gave it a bash. Fishing was a bit slower than normal but the quality of fish was better and a few proper ones hit the net as well as a good few smaller ones but most were keeper size.About 40 odd fish to the boat and now praying the weather and wind stays good for a few weeks as green lurchers is going to be right on my case when he sees this post.A pic of the first fish landed in case that was the only one of the day...2 points

Glad you're still in the game, I missed last season as I had the the old bitch, Delta, put down at 15, and my other bitch, Lima, has put in some great shifts, but at 12 is enjoying a well deserved retirement. I thought long and hard about getting another dog at 69, but decided if I didn't do it now, I'd probably end up regretting it, so brought in another pup ! They keep us young, if sometimes tired ! ? ! But, like you, I wouldn't be without a dog around, to have a walk out with and a bit of sport ! Cheers.2 points

That word fits in anywhere. My old boss doing building used to call a small amount of something "a c**t full" . Used to say it to customers without thinking ?? "Yeah shouldnt take much to fill that gap , will only be a cuntfull" You could see their brains ticking over thinking "did he just say what i think he juat said"2 points
