My problem in life is if I earn 500 a day I would only work one day a week, I,m a man of low ambition unfortunately, a day in the woods can save me a couple of hundred quid cutting logs but also saves my soul, ?

I speak to people that spend around £500 a year on logs, this lot cost around £300 and is all a man needs to keep warm and dry has done for me for years just taking it to my boat for the next couple of years of free heat

Just back been and opened up the boat and moved some clobber and personal effects on board also got the fire going with two eco fans on, lovely jjubbly and when I went in to put a few bits in the engine room I only found a folding Brompton pushbike in a bag all folded away in the corner double sweet ??

They want to see “ enrichments” like things for them to climb on and get under ,and some old fruit and veg gets thrown in too . I’ve got a bit of time on my hands at the moment. This lockdown and all the restrictions have meant that my normally busy shooting season is on hold . I’m usually feeding my birds , loading on various shoots and running my shoot days ......all stopped, just feeding now , and a bit of fox control, and a bit of deer shooting. So I’m going to be on here more than I normally would. I must make the most of it as we are going to squeeze the rest of the days into December and January, sometimes shooting twice a week . Got a text from the chicken farm/free range egg producer . A fox was spotted making off with a chicken at dusk . I said I would be over the next afternoon. Anyway that afternoon was pissing down and he didn’t open the hatches on the unit so the birds were kept in . Done away with my open fire 2 year ago. This thing chucks far more heat and burns a lot less fuel. Same place as Flattop got his from Dean Forge and the Concrete wood effect bean. Cheers Arry
