I think this is about the best topic on this forum, unless you are one of these bods that thinks they have nothing to learn and know everything about the countryside i dont see why anyone would have a problem with what Greyman gets up to i think its a smashing little worthwhile hobby he has and if he,s willing to share his findings then thats a result for anyone with a genuine interest in the countryside surely.9 points

It has been closed down after the death of a 'guest'. About time. Horrible man, horrible format for a programme. Time X factor stopped taking the piss out of vulnerable talentless people too. Simon Cowell is another abusive, cynical shitehawk.8 points

Had to put the old lad to sleep last week .....what a dog and a decent producer .....he has given me some great me memories and I would love to do it all over again . over 13 year old and still doing a bit with the terriers and dog that put some amount of stuff to sleep and lived to graft plenty of stuff with his blood coursing through their veins and have 2 dogs in my yard that are breed from him and if they are half as good as he was I will be a happy man .7 points

A mate of mine asked if I would like to remove a few rabbits from a church yard with him tonight, not to wipe them out but just to thin them as the congregation like to see a few about, so on arrival it became clear that a lot more shooting opportunities would of been had with air rifles but only having the little .22 rimfires we made the best of it, I managed 14 of all different sizes and all shot in daylight, I think my mate was around the same number, the church is surrounded by horse paddocks and looking over them there was double the amount of rabbits in them compared to what was in the7 points

When you threw that Fox pic in some time ago I instantly told you it was not a cat kill nothing like one far to messy in fact I keep it in my album as an example of a false claim, so I will assume for the time being that you were lying when you claimed you had trail cam footage of Fox,s and badger hollowing out a deer or sheep in the same way as the pictures I have put up, and on that note I really must go, me and all my shite pics will be at the fishing comp if any of you want to come along and have a rummage through, no charge I might even buy you a beer6 points

I hope you are not including me in this " other so called patriots soapbox which is the huntinglife " I was running round doing my bit in the name of patriotism when you was still wiping snot off your funny little face and calling us all knuckle draggers while keeping up your dopey lefty labour vote that you later all decided was a load of bollocks ! Some of us do stand behind our views ive recently been out and about with some like minded chaps talking eye to eye with people in the neighbourhood and it paid off when a right wing nationalist was elected as borough councillor. I just think that they should make rape cases an exception, like you say it would be a tiny minority but I certainly wouldn't want one of mine being in that minority5 points

It beggars belief how in this day and age of complete over sympathy to anyone with so much as a wart on their nose how a program that is predominantly about humiliating vulnerable people has been allowed to exist......put a black/brown/queer on national television to take the piss out of and there would be court cases !4 points

Whyte was offered millions for AJ but felt he wasn’t getting paid enough! Once you win the belts you earn the big coin.., simples. Whyte is improved but if he believed he could win, then he should’ve taken the fight. Fury was offered a reported 40% split to fight AJ in front of 80k in the biggest fight on British soil maybe in living memory. Bigger money than any other fight out there and a shot at the king, and he passed on it too. Wilder’s team apparently wouldn’t even answer the phone to Hearn. Fury may be game but he’s ducking the biggest fights. Why?4 points

Poor dental hygiene is only linked to heart disease in that people who abuse their teeth tend not to look after their overall health , it's not causal . I hope this little nugget of information is helpful and taken in the right spirit ...I continue to help and educate on here .4 points

I'm not pro or anti abortion, although I would drastically reduce the cut off for terminating. That said, does this vastly overcrowded world need 60 million unwanted inhabitants.4 points

be a shame if this thread was blocked like poor collie johns 1....Is it that hard to accept that someone has a different opinion too you or I???having taken the the time to go meet G.M and what I believe to be credible witnesses in their 70's....who worked/farmed the land all their lives....I think they are far from loonies?lots of credable people have seen what they believe to be a big cats...but don't speak up because they will be ridiculed.....this thread is a perfect example.....lots ready to just rubbish the thought, because they haven't had a sighting themselves.... let folk do as t4 points

I don’t know much about fish ponds only ever having had anything to do with lakes. But from the little I do know, I think a pond is an ongoing labour of work. Pal of mine spent thousands on his pond and pump system, but he still wound up having to give it a good clean out a few times every summer. I don’t think it’s one of those things you can sit back and say “well that’s done, I can forget about that” In the lakes we used to put bales of barley straw to try and keep blooms sensible, now obviously I know you can’t put a bale of straw in a garden pond but I wonder if smalle4 points

Spot on mate There's no c**t in Europe that can top anything that we do - food, work, live stock, scrapping, electrics, gas, plumbing, beer, health care - they can't even get a simple cup of tea right. Feck 'em - time we ditched the leach b*****ds Nice looking grim by the way GL3 points

Keep posting Greyman! Personally I am undecided as to if they are out there or not but I find this a very interesting thread and enjoy reading about your search to find an elusive big cat. I completely understand people’s scepticism but can’t understand why some feel the need to belittle you and undermine you, this is one of the few threads on here worth reading.3 points

Got a call of a work mate today, telling me he was doing the roof on a big house and there were hundreds of rabbits in her 4 archer garden and he had told the owner he knows someone who could get rid of some and that's when he called me, so I dropped tools and head over there, on the way there I said to my son I think he might be exaggerating about the amount of rabbits, 15 minute drive and I arrive to a ferreters heaven, I found 6 warrens in raised mounds in the main garden, full of rabbit s#$t and fresh digging and she has a dry stream running around the premises which is full of holes on2 points

Fair one mate. I also think, all be it less contentious to most folks, that the banning of facial recognition is a major City is a big deal. I don’t think people take nearly enough notice or give enough value to their freedom from the state.2 points

I seen that mate, and I freely admit that for me that’s a conundrum. However, I think the sensible way to look at it is this........ A tiny minority endure something terrible to save the slaughter of tens of thousands (millions globally) Or the slaughter of tens of thousands (millions globally) continues to protect a tiny minority Thats the circle everyone has to square in their mind I suppose mate. Now obviously I dont know the numbers of such horrible cases but I have a good idea of how many babies have been killed and that number is well over 60 MILLION !! Any2 points

If your gardens south facing then you,ll need a bit of shade for a pond that small mate. All aquatics is the same the smaller the space the harder it is to keep water quality good.2 points

I’ve already posted the pictures, and you obviously can’t remember but I got in touch with you at the time about it as well. it wasn’t corvids or badger, it was fox every time. There had been a cat sighting less than half a mile away and I was hoping it was a cat, hence the cameras went out Also it was not over a day or two, it was in one night, and it happened on quite a few occasions, not once, or every now and again, it was two or three times a week. heres a couple I can lay my hands on instantly, will look later see if I can find some better ones2 points

Give a TV production company an iota of proof, show them irrefutable footage they will be on the project like hounds, plough loads of funds into it,and come up with the goods.Theres 70 amur leopards in the wild, that's a third of the UK's supposed british big cat populations in an area that Britain would fit in multiples of times, yet TV companies capture footage of the amur time and again, getting the british cats on film for a TV company should be a cake-walk,no?2 points

I had a chat with BASC at the Northern Shooting Show and asked why the hell did they not get involved before NE revoked the three GL's The response was that BASC were made aware of the demand placed on NE and were waiting for the dates to be confirmed for the various organisations to meet and talk the situation through, the call never came and the first thing they heard is what we heard and the same time. Link this with the fact that it is said that the Packman crew demanded changes for the GL's at the renewal date in 2020, so we can put this almighty mess at the NE management which I und2 points

Starting to get a little bit nit pickie again and most of the questions have been asked before and answered several times, but for anyone that is interested this is just one small area I,ve been round this morning, thought if I took a few pics it would help, the landscape is almost always the same from Scotland to Cornwall, I,m looking for a tree covered ridge overlooking vast areas of flat pasture land, the ridge especially in winter has to be running from north to south and your target will be on the side that picks up the favourable winds, ie southerlys and westerlys and definitely not east2 points

I was sick of being told what to do when they banned hunting with hounds , many people died for this country only for our government to feck it up , even them that survived it didn't get looked after , and still don't , so I carried on hunting with my hounds , carried on hair coursing , and I will carry on killing what the feck I want, I live of the land just like people have done for years to keep abit of meat on table, this country is fecked takeing more money off us all the time , so I will be fecked if I am going to be told what to do any more , so if I was you lot who got magpies in you2 points
