Just thought I’d give anyone interested an update. The guy had until November 26 th to pay ..... guess what . He didn’t. So I waited until the new year and contacted DCBL (can’t pay, we’ll take it away ) off the telly . I paid the £66 high court fee and left it to them . Got an email yesterday afternoon to say that they made “peaceful entry into his property, and after a threatening to remove his property he has made payment in full . I can’t believe I’ve got my money back . But after my costs and the bailiff fees he’s got to pay over £2000 . If he had only spoken to us or Sykes cottages and b9 points

Whether it's any good for breeding is immaterial. Still deserves better than being swapped like a Pokemon card by it's prick of an owner.7 points

Ive had the best outcome possible,I was able to give the smallest bitch to a friend who is another full time rabbitter ,and I kept a lovey brindle bitch and a black dog with white toes.By the age of 9 weeks old all 3 pups had made a full recovery. The bitch at this point is faster than the dog but a little smaller ,I doubt either one will be any taller than the average whippet .They have spent their days chasing each other at high speed around tree stumps ,kennels etc up till now . I started the bitch yesterday and will take one each day till they are fully broken in ,at this stage they have go7 points

Speak for yourself. Plenty of Messer's do it but no one I know would sell a good dog except in exceptional circumstances. Someone buying and selling on a whim is an arsehole that shouldn't have them.5 points

Agree with both these posts. But up til about this time last year ish, three quarters of this site were so far up his arse, he could've brushed the end of their cocks when he brushed his teeth. 'Ooh yes andy, no andy, three bags full andy, you're THE man andy, ad nauseum.5 points

This year at Easter my wife and I rented a large holiday home so that all the kids and grandkids could spend a week together. There were 9 adults 5 kids and 2 dogs . Online the place looked fantastic, snooker room , bar , large dining room , different living rooms , on suite bedrooms. On arrival however the owner told us that the soil pipe was blocked and only one bathroom was in use . And being Easter the earliest it could be fixed was Tuesday after the bank holiday. He said “there you have it , are you staying or not?” We said that seeing as we have all traveled from all over the country and5 points

I lost a cracking bitch with his blood in her just before xmas, she had some boots to fill following my old bitch but she was ticking every box and i'm still f*cking gutted about it..But if your looking for a dog with plenty of his blood in it then he was a lets say a very driven dog and his blood carries those traits so they need to be kept busy.but are a willing to please dog in general..5 points

I was never trained in martial arts so I don't complicate it. I just lie on my back looking vulnerable and all big cats attack with both front feet at the exact same time so I just bury both my heels in both armpits at the same time to hold him up then give them a slap on the arse with my right hand. They look around ever time the silly c**ts which exposes the side vein in their neck. I just grab that and squeeze. They soon fade away. Don't get me wrong it's not easy do but I'm ambidextrous so the cat thinks I'm right handed and he thinks he has it covered but the look on his face is priceles4 points

The same can be said of every breed of working dog mate let alone terriers,if it were that easy every one would have a winner and jackers would be something we call crackers with jam on..I do get what you mean though but it's that's what most folk get them for and the dogs themselves don't get a chance to widen their horizon's but those that do do find there can be more to them than just bushing and ratting.4 points

The ballbag was asking 700 quid for a fcukin liability that should have got a bullet in the head and if you think there’s nothing wrong with that then your as big of a ballbag as he is.4 points

? you're kind of reinforcing what I'm saying. A good dog should put food on the table for a start. A pen full of dogs? You don't need a pen full if you have one or two good ones. We'll have to agree to differ on it, if you think someone who buys shite and sells it on when they realise they're shit is a decent dog man, then crack on bud.4 points

No, the clue is in the title... ? , thats a pup getting geed up on a fresh pig we killed about 15 years ago, it sprung to mind as I think its the 1st teckel I ever filmed. Ive dug coypu, fox and badger with teckels, hunted roe, fox & boar with teckels, cold blood trailled boar also. They arent the be and end all, but if they float your boat youll have a lot of fun with them.4 points

No mate, I don't keep terriers now. If I'd kept them on, I would have outcrossed, probably more than once. I know what you're saying, most are kept as general purpose dogs, but the good ones I've seen have been superb in the ground, some a bit on the hard side tbh. As fireman said, good and bad in all types.3 points

So I got a call off the sheep farmer saying where the bloody hell are you we have started lambing, so off I went, was there 15 minutes and spotted the first one in next doors field and it was having non of it, headed towards the buildings so no shot 20 minutes later another again to close to the buildings and winded me trying to get around it and to top it off one ran across the drive on the way out, there will be lambs in the field after the weekend so I’ll be back up next week, fingers crossed for a bit of luck3 points

Mountain Lions yes as they dont have the lightning reactions of say a Leopard.....Leopards require more of a ground & pound approach as they are more springy and rarely give you their back.....a Jaguar on the other hand is a different kettle of fish their weight can quite often keep you pinned down but the short stumpy legs leave them open to the triangle choke, distance is key here always use the rubber guard to maintain the gap then its down to your reactions and suppleness to strike the choke.....yes its easy to come unstuck against a Jaguar over - confidence can be your undoing with the3 points

I agree its all about body position, normally once ive got one in side control i can usually flip my leg over and drive my hips through then once you,ve taken the back you just have to wrap the neck up without catching your elbows on the front claws.....then its just a matter of waiting it out.3 points

i have had better digging dogs yes but they would not run field up on field on a line , they would they retrieve from water i am in no way saying that all other terriers dont but i can take any of my teckels out and they will , i can also put a long line on and track a deer or go for a dig with the same ones , they are not a hard digging dog far from it but thats what i wanted i dont have to worry when you get a knock at the door , How many people run a pack of russels like hounds ? or use them for tracking wounded animals ? look on the deer stalking forum and see , They are not for every one3 points

Whilst fox killing is not that difficult for a terrier that finds the knack I’m struggling to see how a baying type would ever get the chance to find out .ive owned my share of dispatchers and each and everyone started off their careers a bit on the reckless side .Might be different with other types but that’s my experience .Killing the fox is one thing but staying with it to be dug to also requires a certain type ,those with 100% commitment I’ve found .Ive only owned one that killed a fox then walked .Ive never worked rocks and I’m glad we don’t have any here ,frighten me to death tbh but to3 points
