Had a nice few hours ferreting again with the kids. My little lad learnt a very important lesson don't put your hand near the ferret when it's grabbing a bunny or you will get your finger bitten!! One of the regulars on here is going to come out with me to help me get the numbers down but unfortunately he had to work. I'm taking him out for a day or two of rabbiting and in return he is going to teach me a few more things about kayaking am looking forward to it, hopefully he will be able to come next time I go. Had quite a few bunnies with young uns they seem to breed all year round8 points

After a right bloody hailstorm this morning i donned me boots and jacket and had a wander in the sun on a nice little paddock perm with the 99. Loads of bunnies about but very skittish today for some reason. 1st one popped out of the brambles at 45 yards and i clean missed him coz i completely forgot windage. 2nd appeared about 15 minutes later at 33 yards so bang on zero and over he went. 3rd was across the paddock at 47 yards so at 9x zoom, a gnats whisker over 1 mildot with a slight correction for windage and over he went too. This 99 hasnt missed a beat yet, its ju7 points

Why does anyone give a damn what’s ac and what isn’t, anyone can tattoo an ear. If you’ve been in ac’s yard and picked a pup from a litter off his bitch you have an ac dog, other than that you have a black dog with ac blood in it. Mine isn’t ac and it works a treat, might tattoo his ear. ?6 points

Their lives mean nothing, its the girls life that's the concern, they were already serving life sentences for similar offences, she was raped multiple times and had an abortion at 15 she is going to carry the memories for the rest of her life, they should be hung.5 points

The seas around here have enough pollution now ,without dumping more shite in them , they should be put to good use , fuel for the power station , I know there would be a bit of black smoke but that’s better than polluting the sea .Complete trash to a man ..they may well, have thrown there lives away but they have ruined plenty of others that had little choice in the matter ..5 points

Nobody does that as it would be illegal. Pest Foxes would need to be dealt with humanely. Moving live animals would leave Terriermen open to accusations of cruelty and baiting and can only be done under permit. It is sad that ANTIs don't realise the stupidity in what they wish for! As hunters now cannot move healthy pest animals safely to location they have to be dealt with. In the old days they could have been moved with little fuss or harm. The countryside needs to be managed and without hunting selectively removing the problem animals vermin species breed to epidemic proportions and t5 points

I was at Whitehall on Saturday with my sons school they marched down past downing street roads closed to do this, and they placed a reef performed a service at the memorial for their school founder. So those lads know about respect and pride. So a few gooduns coming through the ranks ?4 points

A film about Jamie Bulgers final hours, getting Oscar nominations, Jamie's family furious, understandably, only skimmed the story so not 100% on the full ins and outs, but don't sit right with me, I know we've films about the holocaust, and various other serial killers, but the thought people are getting rich off a film like this surely ain't right?3 points

Almost 55 years ago some friends of my parents, who I called aunty and uncle, bought for me my first gun and I suspect it may have been the first gun for some of you guys of a more mature age, shall we say. The gun in question was a Gat spring powered air pistol. Yesterday when I met up with my shooting partner to visit a landowner, he asked if I had ever heard of them and when I told him it was my first ever gun, he grinned and say there you go then handing a mint black Gat. I was well pleased as I have not seen one for God knows how many years. When I got home I grabbed some .177 pellet3 points

. 177 or . 22? Put a paper target up, take 20 paces and shoot a 10 shot group and see how you get on, then put up the pic up of your results with the pic of the gun ? ... Or it didn't happen ? Dave the plinker ??3 points

did all sorts of stupid stuff when I was a kid.. still do occasionally but ive always respected the men and women who fought for out country from an early age!! that shits just blatant disrespect3 points

Personally I can afford it so why not? A very true addadge "beware the man with one gun", but I personally enjoy owning the springers I could only dream about forty years ago. It's also partly trying to stop them being lost for ever. I only use two ultra se,s in .177 for work, I rarely get time to hunt for pleasure, but if I do it will be with one of the "classics".3 points

Cheers for that Trev70. It's hard trying to film when there's kids, dogs, ferrets, rabbits etc about but it's nice to have something that you can watch and look back on when the kids are older. That's what I like about yours just simple, dog and camera. Will get my Mrs to look into the YouTube and camcorder thing. Never used to bother with pics and videos as am out quite a lot with dogs etc so it's just an another night but when you have kids you can look back at it and the memories.3 points

Spent the day evicting some bunny’s from there hedgerow lairs. It was the sort of day that would normally be in favour for them to bolt weather wise, yet it was not meant to be. We had our armoury of purse nets, a couple hounds and I got a chance to run the longnet out for a change. Dogs were marking well, and it was great to see my pals beddy whip has come on leaps and bounds since are last outing. We only managed to get a couple bolts into the nets and one into the open field were patch picked it up quickly, the spade accounting for the rest. As is his usual style, paddy the ferr2 points
