  3. Unity amongst Lurchermen, Mouchers, and Freelancers will never work,..and history tells us that it is 'Dog Eat Dog' World,..always has been, always will be... If you have permission to run your dogs over certain areas, then you have to guard it jealously,..and if you cannot, you need to take what you can, before some other fecker does... If you have no land of your own, then you must do,.. what you must do... Rules and regulations are not for me, as a lifelong hunter, I have my own, personal code of conduct, it is indelibly etched upon my heart... I'll walk alone,...until it is

  9. A few years back some of the ,members of this forum formed a group LAGBI and were warning about the attitude plans and behavior of Country side Alliance. The already representative party that was seated on the Commitee on behalf of Lurchers and longdogs changed its name to AWL and asked everyone to join them and the Country Alliance to fight for Lurcher work alongside other Country side activities well well well here we are few years down the road and stabbed in the back once again,

  11. Nine's hours afield today and yes I am knackered! Bit of a grey day but good to be out. No foxs seen and very little if no sign. I found a fox carcass on the boundary of a shoot which I thought was grand. No fresh turds or prints. Fat squirrels though, got some whoppers today. Got a chance of a long shot on a pheasant, sadly a hen, I usually leave them but @120strides as it turned out to be I fancied a rested head shot! Shot one went just a little high but shot two gave the hen a new ear hole! Not bad for WMR. Eight squirrels, one

  13. I worked a local farm for years and always got a call from farmer asking me to ferret etc until last year. He called and said he had no choice but to ban every one from doing anything on his land because rogue lampers. They have no respect for anything, This gives running dog lads a bad name, We really don't need this, Pest control with lurchers is coming to an end and it's this that's putting the nails deeper into the coffin. We need land owners on side, Its about helping farmers ,land owners clear pests ,but when they see us as the pest that breaks gates a

You say that about the human race not being that bad bud, Thursday when I got back from work I went out back to bring my bin in and was no where to be seen, so I checked my security cameras to see where the dustman had left them he had put it next door to me against there gates so watched a bit longer the next door neighbor came out to get his bin looked at mine which is a tad bigger and took my 7 off and put his 9 on how sads that ? They are quite nice . The landlord will have as many as I can get . I’ve got my tunnel traps going now and I’m killing quite a few .

  27. Lads I know well that do a lot of digging would have at least 10 workers between them as well young dogs to start. A couple of half sensible terriers would do me a season easily but then I also follow hounds and do covers with the lurchers. So as rh said it all depends on the terriers you keep and the amount of work you can put in front of them.

  28. Every single person you ask will give a different answer, all depends on dogs working style, amount of land you've got to hunt and how much time you have to be out per week.

The left wing liberals have hijacked the poppy for their own political gains ... the white poppy is to commemorate all fallen people of all wars and conflicts ... so alongside our British and allied dead they commemorate the death of nazis that tortured starved and brutally killed millions of innocents ... the Japanese that inflicted terrible horror and cruelty on our troops that they captured ... isis that have unleashed untold horrors on their captives with filmed beheadings mass rape of izidi women and girls burning people alive all filmed and transmitted for all to watch .... 38. She cost similar sort of money to your friends one Bird. A bit more in fact It took me a couple of years to find the right breeder with the right stock. Both parents are South African imports. The person that bred her lived in SA for 25 years. Yes you could say it is a lot of money and I could of certainly got a cheaper dog to do the job but I have wanted one for many years and to be honest I spend more every year going on holiday than what the dog cost so for a animal that will hopefully serve me well for 10 years plus I'm not complaining
