We headed towards Glastonbury,...it was wet and muddy as per usual, the rain was non-stop and the wind was icy cold. No exciting bands on offer, no sex, drugs or rock, and roll, just the promise of a new life for my old pal's lurcher dog. Lost my dear friend Robin Tarrant to Cancer at Xmas,..it was emotional. I visited him in the Hospice, it was a shock to the system and one which I was not prepared for,..however, it had to be done... Foolishly, and without really thinking, I asked him, 'Is there anything that you want me to do?" The cancer was in his throat, he8 points

I've probably had this up more than once before. He was a dog I bought from a greyhound breeder who paid good money for a greyhound stud then his farm collie managed to cover the bitch after she came home. The litter was half pure greyhounds and half lurchers. He died of cancer a few years ago at around 9 or 10 if I remember right. He was real nervous as a pup but became very gutsy once settled in and matured. I used him for ferreting mostly but he loved running foxes and would desert a warren if he saw a fox. I wish I had him now. I don't do much ferreting any more but he'd be good for6 points

It's a fools route I know a young couple on the verge of losing there home as they are trapped in contracts for cars and can't afford there home, no company does anything that will profit the customer more than the company and when people tell you it's not costing them a penny they are lying because you are non stop paying, I know of many people that got trapped in this shit system all have got out of it after one or two motors regretting ever signing upto it in the first place, if you are self employed it can be a bit better as you can claim more back against your tax by leasing than owning,5 points

I buy this for my dad for his aches and pains. It's legal and it helps him loads https://cbdbrothers.com/product/cbd-oil-blue-edition/ Before buying her anything I'd mention it to her family first incase it effects any medicine she's already on . Plus people who don't know will just assume your giving her drugs3 points

CBD is a quality product and an essential part for the plant to consume, however when your in real trouble discomfort or plain old Donald ducked you need whole plant extraction and the more THC the better, anyone suffering real pain and discomfort would be mad not to try , why should you be denied it, its ok it being grown processed and researched here by a licenced British company whom pay the government millions for the sole privilege (and shareholders handsome profits too), said products are sold in uk via NHS private script and abroad in other preparations, so screw them and sort your own,3 points

Right I know most people won’t bother, when traps get old they will remove trigger wires, and some loops for spares, but I have been laid up with that bloody virus, and god makes work for bored idle hands, also I have taken another fare sized farm, some distance away from where I live, I decided to try and revive a few older traps, that to me were getting to the end of there usefull lives, I know people will talk about speed dip, and other trap treatments, that I can never find, anyone who has any stock at the time I want some, anyway some one once mentioned on here about useing underseal, last2 points

Had a fella round today from off here, I wanted him to have a try with one of my guns to see how he liked it. Well it certainly wasn't the best day for it with the wind gusting between 10 and 30mph, but what the hell, he would get a feel for the gun if not the accuracy I knew she could do. After a very hasty zero, I let him punch a few targets, but I was jealous, I love her, her, happens to be a daystate huntsman regal in .22, so I nabbed it back for a quick shoot, and considering I've not shot it for a year or so, it's never been touched, serviced or tuned, straight out the2 points

The one I posted comes with one of those "pipette" caps so he puts a few drops under his tounge every day . He's got a bad ankle that broke when he was young and didn't heal properly , as a old man he had it reset but still gets pain in it . He also has a really bad back . He fell through a loft hatch in work years ago and f****d it . It's the combination if these 2 injuries and general aches and pains from a lifetime of manual work he takes it for . He loves the stuff , because it's not "thc" cannabis oil he doesn't get the mellow feeling you'd associate with marijuana but gets the relief .2 points

I can work a dog but I'm stuffed if I can train one properly lol. I've had grand ideas about training pups in the past but I just don't have time so they get bored/nuts sitting in the truck etc and I get sick of them chewing truck up or I'm running round like a tw*t while they watch me out the window ?.. not fair and entirely my fault. so I buy adults now2 points

Nothing foolish there, its what friends should be about. Although I've never met the fella by his actions, thinking of and placing his dogs future in the hands of one he trusted whilst in such a place and time, shows he was a decent bloke. RIP.2 points

I'm 99% convinced that there is utterly no point in those petitions or for that matter lobbying your MP. They are not for changing their minds, not unless re-election is threatened and well we saw how much the country was willing to hold their MPs to account on the referendum result with the GE that followed it. Why should they pay us any attention?2 points

A fella down the road had his aviary robbed last night.I reckon it's then gypsies.Wanted his canaries to train their fighting chickens with.2 points

There probably are wanna be big men who would throw a tame dog to their bull breed thinking it's clever. But the tsunami of dogs thefts across the country are not related to dog fighting in any way. If you wanted a bait dog you would drive round the streets until you saw a stray....these mythical dog fighters aren't stealing cocker and pedigrees, even they know its more value being sold on. Dog fighters aren't marking houses with weird chalk signs to show what dogs you have, the police aren't the starters of those 'the police say can you share this' Facebook posts. And the please share t2 points

Thought I’d update the thread with a few pics and a little write up to how the pups done this season, duchess has had a good start to her working career she’s done well on the few nights she’s been out this season, unfortunately she’s come into season a week ago so that’ll be her done now until September when hopefully she’ll be raring to go on the stubble and I’ll have a good winter big land2 points

Why do people like you who have dogs that they know could kick off don’t put them on leads? If somebody’s dog had done it to yours you would no doubt be on here bleating about it.2 points

They are stealing Cocker Spaniels too cross them with poodles. Cockapoos are making big money and there is no need to kennel club register them because they are not pure bred. The dog that had bite injuries was probably from a kennel fight because they keep several in same pen. The thief probably beat the dog to death for causing the kennel fight. That's the joys of dog peddling.2 points

I reckon poles are entitled to be proud poles in Poland don’t you ? Tell you what, I used to slate the Africans something rotten for coming over and exploiting Britain while retaining a big house back in Africa.......but I have to tell you, I have changed my mind. They are f***ing bang on, the place has set itself up to be exploited.....it’s the poor fuckers that stay there and get exploited that need their head looking at but there they go, every election, voting for more of the same. Britain has ended up exactly where it deserves......but at least there are still 17 million od2 points

Fair comments Scot but the shithole I grew up in there was no sense of community from the local grown either after the older generation started dying off. In fact, they became prey for the locally grown and that's before we started importing shit from abroad. We have our fair share of c*nts it's just that buffer zone is a lot further than it is in Blighty. At least here I don't have to worry about someone poisoning my dogs because they bark or my car being stolen because I started the engine and nipped back inside for my wallet. I got both of those in the same month the year I left Manche2 points

We have tried to offer a deal but they are taking the piss this nation is a proud nation and Grandfathers sacrifices for their sorry arses are not remembered or appreciated, I despise them and their pathetic rules from unelected tin pot nobody's. WTO rules now and see who will want a deal then they will be queuing up we need a stronger leader. Jacob Rees Mogg for PM and Nigel Farage to return to the Conservative party as foreign secretary. I can dream I suppose.2 points
