  2. Haven't you realised yet that I couldn't give a flying fukc what you think or say ... now all this attention your giving me whilst very flattering is also a little creepy ... I don't know what you boys up in stoke do but where I'm from we tend to chase after females ... I know your very tough and can run around the mountains with 35kgs on your back ... survive temperatures so cold that polar bears have frozen to death and own the best hardest fastest dogs in the world ... but in the words of shania twayn ... that don't impress me much .......

I told him put the IV in and give me the syringe, I don't want my boy going out listening to fuucking skryking. Stayed with him until it was over and then had a good old cry with the vet and my mate. Never once saw a vet that emotional in UK! They're usually more eager for a dollar, than the welfare of the animals. Socks you make whatever call you see fit mate and to fuuck with what anyone else says. It's your companion!

  10. Similarly, I don't actually hear anything but my mind is obviously expecting it because I feel something in my ears, like I'm expecting to have to process something loud and impulsive. I'm not sure if that's what they mean? I definitely wouldn't mistake such an experience for an actual sound though. It is however a good example of why individual accounts need to be treated with suspicion when making a judgement. The human mind has a habit of not accurately recording an event.

  11. It's all very logical to say we should be negotiating to avoid the catastrophic.... I've taken the same stance. It's very easy to then imply anybody that wants to just walk is stupid. Frankly it was the same argument being pushed on those wanting to leave before the referendum and before we had started to seriously talk about options. Thing is, there are plenty of folks, perhaps a growing number that are so disenchanted with the political system that they only trust the most simple option and they're still willing to risk hardship for it, expecting it even. To them there is no other optio

  12. Interesting to read about Bruce. Fact is, I've known one or two lurchers like that, and even one that buried its catch, though I did, at the time, put it down to a lot of Saluki in the breeding. Saluki blood is always a good one to blame when things don't go according to plan LOL I also think that in some dogs, it takes a while, yes, up to 2 years, for their brains to mature to the stage where they see us as an essential ingredient in their hunting lives. In an ideal world we'd take a pup literally everywhere with us, no other dogs around to incite possessiveness or jealousy, but even th

  21. Leave with the EU with no deal and use WTO rules. If the EU wants to set up a border in Ireland let them. I bet the economic hardship won't be near as bad as people are predicting. Much like the sky falling in if the UK voted for Brexit. I'm willing to take a few years of economic hardship in return for leaving the EU. If you ain't then you shouldn't have been a daft c*nt in voting to leave the EU!

I knew he'd turn out looking like two dogs welded together when I got him because the very well-spoken farm lady pointed to a brown mongrel and said " That's what he'll look like when he's bigger. In fact that's his older brother. The same xxxxxxing lurcher got my xxxxxxxing collie last year!"

But I love these family get togethers at the Inlaws..... Sauce day is here! First up wash and sort the Roma's, check for any bad ones, cut out the bad stuff and move on. Bag them up into mesh sacks ready for boiling to cook and loosen skins. Bags into cooker and boil, really blanches the skins loose, cooks the pulp. In the copper at the right rear are full bottles being boiled, we did 200kg of Roma's, thats a few bottles

This means that anyone in any state with the correct permits would be allowed to carry a concealed firearm in every other state. It's expected to have a tougher time passing in the Senate though...

I,ve had a really good look mate, but alas have,nt found any, it,s not on my normal ground I only found it because I noticed a load of crows and magpies on it when I was driving along a country lane, it's on private land and I,m in full veiw so I have to be a bit carefull, I,ve got the go ahead from a girl that keeps a horse a few fields away to leave my van in her yard so I can sneak in and have a good look around, I,m hoping for a foot of snow when I wake up as I have a day off tomorrow which will be spent in the wood behind the carcass so maybe a few more clues tomorrow

Every sunday aswell we were taking some dog or other for a trial. Trying to think of a name off the cuff when they qualified lol remember calling one bitch. "Wee regal" cause i smoked Embassy fags not the king size. Aye its sad they have went the way of so many of our old pastimes! Guess its just to be expected.

  36. The last pics of the meats, everything we have been working towards. These are about 7 days from being put into the cellar for further curing, and checked everyday before being Vac Packed for storage once reaching the 'ideal' dryness. The older way of placing them in lard retains moisture and the fat is good for energy in a cold country winter. You will see some mould on the cured meat "Capocollo" in the netting, LOL that is washed off and does not effect the meat. The meat is sealed inside a gut (large intestine) skin to cure. The mould is washed off with wine

  38. It dont mean much earning 30 grand a year if it’s all getting taken off you in tax, stealth tax, council tax, water rates, congestion charging, £5 and hour parking, £200 a week rail fares and on and on and on..........and that money used to finance a society where people are freely going about kicking in front doors of your house while you are still in it at 8 in the morning to rob your house, steal your car keys and nick your car while the police conduct a stealth tax operation 30 handed at a checkpoint up the road........honestly, I’m not making this shit up.......it’s a daily occurrence !

But that's happening every day anyway lol we just waiting for the next time the money men get there numbers wrong and take the country to the cleaners ....booming Britain or broke Britain in reality makes no odds to most ....drastic change is needed a whole new rethink because what we have just doesn't work and is getting worse and I think one of the reasons is we have all become to complacent with our snugg little life's maybe the jagged little pill is order out of chaos as they say you can't make a omlet without cracking a few eggs .

My vet also does homeopathy so checked the bitch over thoroughly whent through all the notes and asked me a million questions about the bitch pre injury and post operation checked all the X-rays and was happy that everything was done correctly so in his opinion it was something to do with the bitch not healing herself ... he went into it in a complicated way but that's the short answer ... so he put together a medicine to give her and he reckons that if it's going to work I should see the start of some healing by Christmas ... one of my missus chickens had rye neck and we couldn't cure it he

If my dog catches a bolter and I don't get to him quick because I am sorting out the ferrets or what ever. He gets him self worked into a frenzy and I mean a frenzy. He will throw them in the air and shake the hell out of the long dead bunny. You would think he was dealing with some thing that could bite back. On the other hand lamped rabbits mean nothing and he is soft mouthed as hell and just pins them till i get there. I put it down to the lack of day time action so its a big deal. I de

So Dan has asked about the reason there are no 'twisted links' separating the sausages instead of tying knots and using string, I will go thru a more detailed explanation. These traditions and methods come from places where there is little or no electricity or refrigeration for food storage in those times, well before Australia was settled. So all food that was stored long term was Cured, Dried, Salted, Pickled, Smoked or just naturally stayed edible because of its nature. Meats and fish are the most difficult things because of bacteria, they just lo
