  2. Well Christmas morning came and I surveyed my modest pile of presents. After unwrapping the obligatory socks and deodorants I came to a parcel that upon feeling it guessed that it was a book from one of my girls . As I tore the paper away I made a decision to hide the disappointment on my face as I already had a copy , and thanked my daughter for her thoughtfulness. So as you can see I have a copy of this tome which I will raffle . Put your names down and on Sunday evening I will announce the winner. ATB

  6. If someone is lucky enough to win 10, 15 or 20 mil on the lottery, why invest any of it? Surely that's enough for you, your children and grandchildren to live on VERY comfortably for the rest of your lives?

  20. Its a funny thing - the ban had made little difference to many who were already entrenched. It may have put off some of those with too much to lose. And does appear to have attracted some proper morons, but then they were always there!

  21. Pity the bloke who owned him is a bullshitting peddler, who studs out dogs that have done very little at £500 a pop ,he never did much before the ban truth be told and even less after ? Scout was a cur like most coursing dogs and added wind , the bull side added what was wanted and needed

But f**k me show some ambition 5% !!.....if i gave you £100 and said go make some money your going to come back at the end of the year with a fiver ?

  31. Aye, I've shot deer out to 300 off them without too much fuss. Head shoot rabbit out beyond 100 all day long. For a quick snap shot on a bumped deer in woodland I'll just flick em out as if regular two piece sticks but for anything I have a bit of time on I'll utilise the full quad utility. Folks can spend a ton on sticks if they want, I'm certainly not afraid to part with cash for the right kit, but for my money these ten quid DIY jobies do all that the other shit does, and I don't give a f**k about loosing them.

  32. I’ve been all over woodcock shooting . I’ve been with a well know producer of fox calling videos in Cornwall and locally. And this was the best days woodcock shooting I’ve had . The estate only does this day once a year and every year they shoot similar numbers. It’s low impact on the woodcock and I think it’s sustainable. I know that there are a lot of people not shooting them now but it’s a personal choice and I love woodcock shooting/ eating .

  33. Absolutely, I’ve been using mine for years. I’ve made some modifications over time . I’ve added a fifth leg (see picture) this helps reduce any forward or backward rocking , and makes these sticks incredibly stable . I’ve also added rubber grommets off electrical wall sockets to stop the sticks rattling when you carry them . Rubber bungees to connect them and allow them to open instantly to the right size for your rifle . I’ve also added a small webbing strap to stop them opening too wide . All for about £10 .

My daughter now earns around 60k and rising after a simular sum was spent on her education mate seems a lot at the start but it’s a good investment in the long run, and for an uneducated council estate kid that’s earned his money either the hard way or the wrong way I can feel proud as feck on a daily basis

Never done coke far to expensive when I was young enough to try it, but acid or lsd was a weekend fav, would not recommend it if you have a fragile mind as it can take you to some very dark places, but if your all good and in a good place it was brilliant, mate once ate 5 superman tabs and locked himself in his flat for a week but that was extreme, they recon people like Stephen hawkins and other such boffins have all give it a go as it takes your mind to places you could never experience, magic mushrooms are a simular buzz depending on how many you eat and they have started studying the effec

  43. Alan and Heidi Charles in Westmeath breed a litter now and again, though they mainly breed pure deerhounds. Bear in mind that if you get a deer/grey it may not be as "drivey" as other lurchers. I like mine but she won't take fox. Doesn't seem to see them as an enemy. She takes most edible. She isn't as good as my collie/grey on rabbits but she can catch a few. Just to add, her feet are very good for such a big heavy bitch. In the months leading up to the season I give her lots of roadwork with the bike and she runs a fair bit on v. rough rocky ground and forest and only once had a
