A little while ago I posted about a new but small perm with a serious rabbit issue and also mentioned at the time that there was a tree filled quarry on the perm. Today, my shooting partner and I went to do a few tests on his rimfire and as it was such a lovely day, I took a few piccies for you all. The ivy on the ground is covered with pigeon crap so it is well used. The quarry sides are steep and about 50-70' high so very limited as to where and how you get in but we think it is going to offer some good sport over the coming months and of course in the winter when the trees are bare, there a8 points

Agree with some of the comments that I’d rather have one player with the fire in the belly Barton has than ten of these insipid fairies playing in the EPL nowadays.., but you have to temper that with an intelligence that Barton clearly lacks. IMO he’s a good player whos ill discipline, big mouth and ability to split a dressing room has stunted his success in the game. He went to Rangers a few years ago after a great season with Burnley. His quality as a player should have made him a success, but instead he instantly got involved in publicly slagging off Celtic players and their manager. W4 points

But Maxie ,shouldn't we wait to hear the whole story ,both sides of the story ,let justice run its course etc etc or do you only insist on that for Sunderland players ?3 points

Crawford rightly massive favourite but I’ve stuck a few quid on Khan at 17/2. I think he’s worth a punt at those odds.3 points

I’ll tell you a downside to trail hounds they are a f***ing nightmare. noisy , both in the kennel and in the field. As in howling noisy. Howl all ducking day and night. They need walked , as In walk walked. Each to there own and people live in areas where the faults aren’t an issue etc. But don’t be thinking trail hounds are a walk in the park compared to a Fox hounds. They are a lifestyle dog. Suprised , no one has mentioned Rebecca, the foxhound / greyhound x that was the subject of Andrew Simpson’s book. usually raises its head whenever this x is mentioned3 points

My siskins have picked up where they left off last year. Canaries are nearly all on eggs, goldies are messing with material and one pair of redpolls have started to build a bit too. How's everyone else getting on with their birds?2 points

Yes it’s essential for any photo used as evidence to either have an image of a known animal like a deer taken on the same camera overlaid or a photo of a model or a known object in the same spot, this was the picture that started all this off and this is a picture with a scaling frame to work out the size, but the people often don’t want to give locations away, I have a short video of a large very long cat in a wood at night which looks just like a mountain lion, but the person who took it would,nt give up the location so it’s meaningless as you can’t say excactly how big it is ??2 points

This thread could go on for endless pages, with the pros and cons of bull breeds. To me it's pretty simple. Knowing what any bull breed is/can be capable of, no matter how friendly, well behaved, child friendly etc they might be, should be enough to ensure no-one EVER leaves a child alone with one, for any length of time. As has been said, you get dickheads, chavs, and downright clueless c**ts owning these dogs, that are only into these dogs for status. Dog laws in many countries, especially the uk, are a joke. These dogs, and many other large, powerful breeds, are potentially lethal2 points

I dont agree with that i think its a lot harder to make a bulldog bite human flesh than people think i believe with a true representative of the Apbt bred solely for the pit man biters are born not made.....and they are born simply because nature isnt perfect.2 points

Cheeky twat I cannot fault the groups Jamie but please understand most people could wipe the floor with me at the moment as I am having to use a NiteSite to shoot which is useless for seeing an 8mm spot target. The sooner I get my hospital date for surgery the better. Look Jamie, I tell you what mate, why don't you just borrow my HW110k and take it and try it yourself for a week. Phil2 points

We will have to agree to disagree then , I was referring to apache post about pitbulls been indefensible, pitbulls types ( the ones which litter the streets today with all fancy colours) are as much a pitbulls as a donkey is a race horse , lads crossing pitbulls to bulldogs mastiffs ect ect are creating effectively mongrels with unknown characters and attributes, unfortunately pitbulls get tarred with the same brush as these stupid lumpy money making dick extensions ,, fair enough any dog can be turned bad but calling a dog that has been breed for hundreds of years to be non human agressive ind2 points

What bit taught us a lesson the Great War? The war to end all war, well unless you have not noticed but we have been peddling in war ever since and as wilf says, today’s political and global scene is very simular to what was happening prior to the out break of ww2, war is a great method of population reduction, financial redistribution and to make the peasants return to there masters looking to them to find solutions to the mess they have created, sound familiar2 points
