We went out with snowmobiles to the Swedish mountains to tent and hunting on skiis or snowshoes for mountain grouse. We had windy and snowy weather the day then we drove out and the first hunting day. The second day were nice so I could get up on the top of a mountain to hunt with rifle while J and E hunted with dogs in the walley. The third day we had a fantastic sunny weather and nice temperature and wind. The last day it was -28c but E still wanted to hunt and they got several grouses, before we packed up and drove home.

Id eat out of that place anyday martyn lol

Quite so, there are plenty of electric vehicles on the road (milk floats etc), in the workplace, on the golf course etc., etc., which perform a perfectly functional and practical role. But their development out to mass transport is fundamentally the result of legislation, rather than commercial business profit and practicality. Had there been a mass market waiting, the motor industry would have gone down this route big time themselves, without being kicked by legislation. I'm not saying never, and technology moves on, but forced electric transport today is a recipe for pain, suffer

Don't have the infrastructure to run/charge them, too expensive to buy and maintain (big surprises coming for those who already have them), not environmentally friendly to produce, and still rely on non-green power plants to provide the electricity to charge the things. Everyone (Government/Councils) know but afraid to admit it. This is based on attending tech talks/seminars by manufacturers producing the domestic and industrial charging equipment. Need a plan B if no more diesel or petrol engines are to be produced after 2030 and it aint electric motors.

Hey up, took one of the neighbours doctors this morning, had to see the nurse, so parked up on the docs car park, let my neighbour out, next to me was this middle aged lady sat in her car, in tears, so i asked if she was ok, apparantly, she been in the docs, and left her lights on, result flat battery, she told me she had rang the AA, but they told her, there would be a long wait, so out comes my jump leads within mins her car jumped into life, she offered me £10 no thanks i says, Glad to be of help

I think it’s as you get older you realise you need to relax more and spend more time listening and learning especially when it comes to dogs, as most are way more clever than we think, I just think of how many dogs I have ruined of parted with over the years that haven’t been given enough time and I am sure lots of lads have had the same, weather they admit it or not is another thing.
