  7. I've been enjoying the cz 455 I just got in 17hmr. I also acquired some of the ammunition from that notorious time when the cases were splitting! Ever likely folk were put off, me included! Let's just say I have quite a bit of summer squirrel ammo for next year! Some of it is good though and as ever Hornady is no different in performance whether it be recent production or decades old, thankfully. The cci 20gn fully jacketed is a surprise! It's bloomin quick for 20gns and does just fine on small game with less mess. It's a nice light rifle to carry. Can't wait to get

  9. Having hunted for many years with JD & seeing his dog's in action all over the country & further afield too I have no doubt his new writing's will be worth a read..he puts in the hard miles season after season to work, test his own pooches plus the dog's of other like-minded enthusiastic owners who he walks out with throughout the winter month's too..he's a honest, genuine sound lad & he's one of less than a handful in this world who I would entrust with my life if it came down to that..the books will be worthy of a place on the bookshelf I'm sure of that ?

  13. Fags are the same as weed in as much as blokes are climbing the walls when they run out. I have no idea in actuality about reaction times etc but I do know in the most basic way that you can tell a weed smoker when you are working, lads in their 20s incapable of doing anything which is something you never see with fags. Thats not to say fags ain’t bad, they are. Booze out of all of them is probably the worst, I packed up when I was 24 and setting up home because booze and family life do not go together.…. All said and done I didn’t want my kids seeing me wrecked all the tim

  14. I’d say it causes less problems than most other drugs if used sensibly in moderation. problems arise when it’s abused. ive worked with lads that needed 2 joints before work in a morning and would smoke it flat out any chance they got. That’s abuse and more than likely caused the issues seen above. Not a smoker myself but don’t think it’s as bad as a lot of other things that are being more and more normalised, and certainly wouldn’t judge someone badly if they were a toker. I’ve met plenty who where high achievers and operate at upper levels, bud I doubt they ha

  16. Correct mate, I know a number of very switched on daily smokers, can't tar everyone with the same brush, the world isn't black and white like that, a drink or a vape when your relaxing at night is a far cry from a raging alkie or full on none stop pot head.

  19. No. I don't mean the internet meme. The real thing. Anyone else feed them to anything? Only, I give them to my toad. He lives in here, with us. So he never experiences the lower temp's that would cause him to hibernate. Feeds year round. And, right now, in the 70's, it's cricket heaven. They, too, are extremely active in their big holding pen. Tons of them. Of course, these days, we can get these Silent crickets. Used them for years now. Never know they're there. Had to happen, didn't it? One night, skidding across the internet. Bookmark to the usual place. Glimpse image of a cr

  25. I’ll tell you something else, the weed tolerance for driving is almost zero….there’s a decent chance of loosing your license if you get a tug and you have been a regular user.

  26. Nicotine is actually classed as a gateway drug, weed actually comes after nicotine in that classification, the first substances a kid normally sees used are through their parents, ciggies and booze, you see your mam and dad doing it so its semi legitimised in your mind, my mam puffed away like a chimney, as kids we must have reeked of second hand fag smoke, I didn't want to passive smoke 40 fags a day like a f***ing beagle in a lab ?

  27. Most of us stoners would not let our children take part in a mass drug experiment, but you did, who’s really the bad parent, I know I would rather my son had a joint than a vaccine but I guess were all different and probably none of us totally right or wrong ?

  28. Now then! A while ago SL offered two magazines to a good home. I said yes because my friendly dealer had a cz auto missing a magazine. My friend just wanted the one magazine which left me with a 16 shot magazine! If you would like it check the photos and give me an address etc. notice the lips might need gently bending a fraction.

  39. They're generally available, if anyone's looking for one. No regulations or shit. Usually come as hatchlings. Or any size from about the six to eight inch mark, once the usual fukking idiots realise just what that that impulse purchase of a 50p piece sized baby has actually lumbered them with. Thirty, forty years ago? Hatchling, at a convention, could cost a fiver. Five years ago? My one, a bare hatchling himself, cost me £80.00, in a pet shop. Fukkin love him! (Or her? Never really bothered to try and work that out. Doesn't matter) Be even better, once this 'cage' is made. I'll be l
