“I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom I can tell you I don’t have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let your username go now that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you and I will rename you.”10 points

I think that the fundamental problem has always been that those of us who hunt or shoot or fish devote our time and energy to our "passions". Those who are opposed to what we do devote their time and energy into getting it stopped. Their time is spent spreading their message, ours is mostly spent in solitude in a quiet corner of this beautiful land.7 points

I'm not as politically savvy as some of you fellas ,but even a bit of a fence sitter like myself can see the racial agenda playing itself out in microscopism in hunting ...white working class lads hunting with dogs are portrayed as council estate scum of the earth ,thuggish ,blood thirsty ,p***y type Neanderthals ,white man hunting with gun ..posh ,privileged hoorays with contemptible morals , African hunting with dogs ...noble Hunter gatherer following long standing cultural traditions . African hunting with gun ...victim of white economical oppression forced to go against all his insti7 points

The problem is nobody is prepared to stand up and fight. The big marches were a high point and since then the defence point has been to fall back and just try to survive independently. Everyone wants somebody else to fight their corner for them. Exactly the same as the English /British nationalism fight. Everyone wants that perfect untouchable hero to come to the rescue and won't even consider that everyone needs to play a part. Thats the difference between us and our opposition. The lefties and the antis are all grassroots based. They all say 'what can we do for the cause'. Where we sit5 points

My Grandad was a herbalist and had loads of dandelions in the garden from memory. My Dad regularly picked up, chewed the stalk then spat it out but swallowed the juice. He said it was good for the kidneys. Years later he donated a kidney to me and it's still going strong after many years ?.4 points

FFS and this is why most people see Christians as a laughing stock , can't see the wood for the trees .. taking everything in the Bible as gospel when science tells us different4 points

? Back in the 1980's,..Kelpies were my first choice to 'improve' the contemporary rabbiting/mouching curs...? Lots of water has flowed under lots of bridges (and a whole lot of fine fish alongside it)...and my own path took on a different direction,..but, I have always favoured this type of herder. So much to say,...so many opinions, anacdotes and exciting events to relate,,.but possibly best left for another time and another place. ? Suffice to say,..I still like to hear, all the news from lurcher lads that have chosen to take , "a walk on the wild side"... Please, keep4 points

Sounds like you're a bit down this morning Kieth ? Maybe all the moving stuff is a bit overwhelming, don't take comments on here seriously. Your posts have certainly made me smile a few times. Have a cuppa, chill out and reconsider ? Cheers.4 points

My main quarry has always been roe, with regular opportunities at fallow and the very occasional muntjac. The Sika have always alluded me. Well, until lockdown lifted and I was able to get away for a few days stalking, which I was f***ing gagging for tbh. I was doing alright on the roe bucks at this point and wasn't feeling much pressure, evening was setting in and the deer were starting to move again. I parked up on the top of the chalky downlands to fire up the jetboil and glass about where about a mile and half away I spotted 'something' motionless in the grass... Couldn't really tell3 points

That photo reminds me of when I lived in Coniston and I had a 3/4 collie 1/4 greyhound. We walked into a field to the north of the lake and all but one of the herdies legged it. I presume the single one must have been hand reared as it walked straight up to us and started sucking on Jem's nose trying to get some milk.3 points

There’s a lot of hard truths in that post, for me included mate....good post. I have this opinion, the world around us has been re-engineerd, blokes like many on here wether they be nationalists, patriots, hunters in various disciplines or just blokes who want to live out in the sticks away from the modern world are the circled wagons.......and we are surrounded by Indians ! Theres 10 of us and 10,000 of them ! As far as game meat is concerned, most folks would rather eat some shit from a paki chicken shop when they get off the train after 10 hours in the city than shop for l3 points

Your right Neal if I want to hear a Cuckoo I have to go up to Dartmoor they only seem to be on the high ground now. Bone hill rocks and the sandy track that go's under Bell Tor out towards Chinkwell tor above Widecombe is a good place to hear them. Cheers Arry2 points

I was once on an exercise , sat on my Bergan in the middle of some wood waiting to move off onto the next serial , as we did our radio check , we were f***ing about with the batteries , getting the right channel etc , last minute prep trying to be all tactical and “lone survivor “ esque. as I was pulling on my webbing and fastening the helmet I could hear the squelch of the radio in my ear , all the usual shite , whose leading out , get on the track plan , gun group in the middle etc there was an air of annoyance as I could hear another corporal trying to get in touch with his LCpl2 points
