Years ago first ever bit of keepering I did I was having fens go missing , tunnels smashed and vermin lines cut down so I staked out a very conspicuous tunnel trap on a ride .Hadnt been in the job long .Hid in a hide made in the brambles . Not a peep all day but about 6 pm a girl came wandering along the ride with a dog on a lead .My head keeper was elsewhere same wood .She went straight to the trap ,up ended it ,stuck a stick on the fenn and pulled the peg out .Flung the trap in the brambles .I scrambled out pretty worked up to be met by the prettiest girl I’d ever seen lol.I was a bit ton

Had a walk around haweswater today with a good mate of mine. The weather was great sun beaming down on us all day with a nice little breeze(packed me big coat) but it was t shirt weather. Its been a little while since I've had a good walk out and i could feel it, legs were burning and lungs were pumping but we managed it. Even managed to get a glimpse of some beasts high up on the hill from the carpark using some random women's binos who just came over to me as i was trying to point them out to my mate and says here get a look at them with these. I agree its a sign of the times unfortunately....before the internet most of us lads in gyms had all the energy and motivation to train but no knowledge....today lads have all the knowledge in the world but need help with energy and motivation ! I put a few quid into a supplement company years ago but pulled out when i realised the market was about to become flooded with supplement companies,normal everyday bods think they're not training properly if they only eat real food these days.
