My Dad is 70 on Monday, he's tough to buy for at the best of times, so being a big milestone was a bit harder.. Me ad my brother have booked a days shark fishing out of Looe, it'll be the 3 of us plus my lad and my brothers youngest daughter... stay down there for the night, mid June so the sharks should be in...and the pubs will be open. First thing I've booked for a year...can't wait

As the wind was perfect for lamping the last couple nights I made sure I didnt miss out on a bit of lamping and filming. Not only the wind but the rain has softened the ground again after it started to really dry up. Wednesday night I nipped out local, 5 mins from the house I managed to catch 4 rabbits with Bud. I was solo lamping using the olight torch and I was also filming. I managed to get 3 of the catches on film and a few more misses. That’s my point mate, just saying that generalisations about farmers are probably as untrue as generalisations about hare coursers. I do both ? Like everything - I give the animals I farm the best possible life and treat them with respect (outside whole life, grass reared etc etc) and I give the quarry I hunt the same respect and as good a life and end as I can. The truth is in life there are some folk just c**ts and they be cu**s if they be farming or coursing.

Exactamont! There are enough laws already to protect men women, children, dogs and cats, but if someone is going to break one law then what is the point of bringing out another law that they will just as readily break? Instead of heaping layer after layer of stupid laws one on top of the other why can't the ones that we have already got be backed up by meaningful punishments? 9th comp hey who'd have thunk it !! Me and my tribe be there we will, got a caravan this year we have. We usually camp but after Kev upgraded to an RV last year for all my kids to take over I had to. LOL Any new lads/lasses thinking of coming i promise its worth the effort, bring the family. Kids will love it if you bring them. Tomo brought his family last year and my daughter cant wait to see Cas and Lenny again. Its a great weekend for all and something I always look forward too. Dave and family are top hosts and will do anything for us lot fair play.

Probably cost a bit per rabbit if you add up the fuel but the satisfaction you get working the dogs is priceless.
