  2. And that is why most folk don't like the plummer terrier.....But as a fella who mooched with lurchers, ferreted both rats and rabbits, ratted a lot and for a few digs a season the one i had i have never seen a terrier come even close to the one i had.A one trick pony was no good for me and i could take her anywhere in and around any stock without any fear of accidents happening, she was everything i wanted and i miss her deeply both as a working terrier and as my best pal..

  5. I don’t know a lot about the breed , I’ve seen YouTube clips ratting. They are obviously all over rats . hundreds in a day... quick little dogs and don’t stay with dead ones,... and don’t scrap over em . I can’t understand the lack of outcross to expand , enhance , or whatever the polite word is . surely a good , small , tight Russel is perfect . talk of bedlington , Lucas ffs , I don’t get. if a Plummer is a Russell , beagle , Staffordshire surely a good Russell would increase the gene pool. They are very ‘ Russell type ‘. The size of the plummer seems

  7. I give my dogs a lot of human meds and anything like that normally clears up with an anti histamine/ hay fever tablet, remember the weight difference and cut the tablet down accordingly, paracetamol and ibuprofens the same for general dogs a bit off colour, I was told to do this by my vet many years ago when he was a family friend not a money making scammer and in 90% of cases it does work ??

  14. I'm with Villaman. Daystate Huntsman Regal. .177 Imagine buying what you thought was a Bentley Continental GT... only to find it had a f***ing Austin Metro under the bonnet. When I spent well over £1,000 on the rifle, scope and bottle, the last thing I want is an inconsistent air charge from an unregulated gun. It was low on power at 9.3 foot pounds energy. Barrel shroud loose and rattled like hell. Harper valve system utterly unreliable. Returned the rifle to Daystate for repairs only to have it returned after two months waiting, and nothing had been done. I spent anoth

Her dam was coalville lines, her sire was a mix of wyremead and can't remember without digging out her ped right now,but her sire was dug to many times and lost his life under the sod.Her dam was dug to a few times and the kennel name was Toh Kon and bred by a chap called Scott Bedding, like i said she did it all for me and i'll still go and stand by her grave in my garden and talk to her about the piles of shite that live in my kennels after a poor day out where she'd have made the difference .

  19. I’ve walked for a few days now without the catty due to a shoulder injury but this morning I decided to take it and only shoot when there was a ni on guaranteed kill ( less shots- less pain). Anyhow I managed two squirrels for 3 shots using the scout Lt .8 gzk and 11mm steel.

  22. The thing is that whilst you can catch using traps straight out of the box, or when not set right, or even when using a crappy trap, you will catch more if a good trap is set up right and placed correctly. And most people on youtube don't film their failures. I didn't ?

  28. Dang you fellas are still going with this ? Well a little update from state side......yeah biden is already trying to f*ck us pretty good. I'm seeing more and more people who voted for him strictly because they didn't like trump realize how bad they screwed up everyday. But hay we're getting like $600 in stimulus money and "at least it's not trump" so you know that's enough to keep the masses happy ?

Now I've been a keeper, am friends with many keepers and spend my life defending all countrysports... ....but....it ain't a bad thing if the shooting world gets its wings clipped over the next few years. Hopefully they will realise what sport and countryside are really about and may start working with other countrysports.... ....i can but dream....
