Day started off wet , nothing in first few spots and was ready to throw towel in . But decided to do a shore line full of whinny patches etc , wind was howling off the sea and I didn’t have much hope . But then we were on. Full cry off young and old dogs . Fox was cleanly shot at far end . Next spot was a small patch well off the beaten track and well out of the way . Big dog fox out and shot crossing a river . great day out ??14 points

All I’m going say is, when you’ve got a true good mate that’s struggling & going through a hard time that is beyond there control & you know that you can help them one way or another, then do it. Lifes to short so make the most of it. Jimmy your a life long mate, going back years we’ve been there for each other, be it fishing , motorcross, travelling the country at a moments notice to pick up cars, vans motorbikes, kitchens, you’ve always been there to help me out , even just company on the long journeys which I thank you for. so look after it, & next time you decid8 points

Been off work for weeks with a detached biceps tendon, post surgery, arm now strong enough to shoot the 97 with the aid of the rest, first time out for 10 weeks, early morning start, three good rabbits and a hare...7 points

And some of us can't shake off our past and keep far to many just to go through the process ! I'd sooner keep a few pups and know they had the best of socialisation, the best entery and the best chance of becoming all they can be. ...........just to place them with lads that do plenty and look after them. Age has no respect for any man7 points

The left wing liberals have hijacked the poppy for their own political gains ... the white poppy is to commemorate all fallen people of all wars and conflicts ... so alongside our British and allied dead they commemorate the death of nazis that tortured starved and brutally killed millions of innocents ... the Japanese that inflicted terrible horror and cruelty on our troops that they captured ... isis that have unleashed untold horrors on their captives with filmed beheadings mass rape of izidi women and girls burning people alive all filmed and transmitted for all to watch .... My youngster has been pestering me for a while for a day out with the ferrets, throughout the summer he’s helped with the cleaning out and general up keep, so today we had a spot in mind that we could access handy enough, after a brief chat with the keeper we headed off only to find the farmer hadn’t moved cattle off the intended fields so with that out the window we moved onto a gully with a few likely looking places, only for Nell to mark one of the warrens, a quick 2 and that was that, the fog had dropped in making visibility next to non, my young helper was keen to see more action so we dr5 points

Strychnine,..was a terrible thing... Back in the day, I felt that its usage was something (as a Rural Pester) that I should know about. I applied to be schooled and instructed in the safe use of this noxious substance in order to be granted a LIcence, to purchase a few grams. My Instructor was a well known MAFF officer, his particular specialty being, traps and trapping and of course, the legislation that goes alongside these disciplines. We did our test over some mole infested fields that I was already trapping... After a short while of discussion, the mixing of the4 points

You say that about the human race not being that bad bud, Thursday when I got back from work I went out back to bring my bin in and was no where to be seen, so I checked my security cameras to see where the dustman had left them he had put it next door to me against there gates so watched a bit longer the next door neighbor came out to get his bin looked at mine which is a tad bigger and took my 7 off and put his 9 on how sads that ? Unity amongst Lurchermen, Mouchers, and Freelancers will never work,..and history tells us that it is 'Dog Eat Dog' World,..always has been, always will be... If you have permission to run your dogs over certain areas, then you have to guard it jealously,..and if you cannot, you need to take what you can, before some other fecker does... If you have no land of your own, then you must do,.. what you must do... Rules and regulations are not for me, as a lifelong hunter, I have my own, personal code of conduct, it is indelibly etched upon my heart... I'll walk alone,...until it is4 points

We have a black board in the bookies for prices I wrote that very statement on it for today with a few poppies stuck on the board. Probably against company policy but f**k them! We have a few Celtic fans come in who im sure will have something to say about it but again f**k them.3 points

Good work mate, it does disorientate you when it’s dark to gauge distance and it’s a bloody nightmare to find Charlie or any other quarry in crops! I had a Charlie earlier this year in wheat, was only about a foot high but high enough to stop the thermal giving the heat source when he was on the deck, so I did as you said, go back next day with the dog ? and I worked out I was looking about 25 yards in the wrong direction!3 points

As said it all depends on the work style of the terriers you keep and the amount of work put in front of them.we have at preseo10 workers and all are dug regularly or when they are fit to be dug everyone differs and not everyone would have the ground others have to go at so a couple of terriers would easily see them through a season.3 points
