After taking the young dog out last week to check a few empty earths (purposely) I dug him today at 3ft, he worked his game well, dug him in a stop end locked, his first 2 digs I dug him locked on in the tube.12 points

Seen a few of those Mac, grim, but i suppose if you know the punishment, your choice to do the crime! Those South American country's are extreme poverty, so guess a bit of thieving to feed your family is a bit more tempting!. Just watched one about Caracas, be interesting to drop a couple of north London hood rats in a favelas and see how they cope "im a wanna be gangsta get me out of here!" could be a good watch!6 points

Me and Ian went out local again today and rather than stick with the rapids for the day Ian brought a couple of shotguns with him I shot 2 bandits and a rat with the rapid with Ian dropping a wòody from 3/4way up a pylon with his rapid .we left 1st farm and ten min drive to another and we noticed a lot of crows on a newly drilled field so we set a hide up between 2 large trailers and stuck a few crow decoys out and the fun began with the shotguns a few ferals showed up and we stuck one on a flapper and it worked a treat . Our rule of thumb is to use the rapids if anything lands among the dec6 points

? That was a very poor clip,..it embodied everything that is foolish and amateurish...the quarry deserves better......depressing really...?6 points

Not going to lie ,I had tears rolling down my face. How the f**k can someone be treated like this in this day and age and nobody brought to book .The media silence is deafening .How can a nation 'be so scared of a few thousand unwashed ,pajama wearing fanatics. Beyond me. Tommy is our voice that will be heard and I wish him all the luck for the future .6 points

Been up on the shoot and court up with this little pheasant munching vixen 231 yards out mousing in the stubble field, a nice one to take not to far from one of the pens5 points

Today was to be our first real day out on our new permission, we met up with the keeper, who took us to the first place he wanted us to concentrate on, open fields and plenty of warrens littered here and there, all pulled out and looking promising, Nell marked the first warren we came across so I left my mate to it while I made my way out into the unknown, it wasn’t long before I had a positive mark, so with 100yard of longnets out I entered 5 ferrets into the sprawling warren it was a good 20 mins before the rabbits started to cooperate, with 6 in the bag and a ferret missing it was out with5 points

That just shows that neither system works, IMHO. You've got legal justice and vigilante justice and both forms demonstrate that rich people don't get punished.5 points

An understanding misses definitely helps in this game, family always comes first but I’d be a right miserable Cnut to live with if I hadn’t got my workers and couldn’t get out for a hunt.5 points

Same as rusty, ggg took it for me, the first fight made me swear to never watch ppv again and last night just confirmed it, ggg will be coming in on a mobility scooter before Canelo beats him fare and square, it's a joke5 points

Whilst it may seem a more humane option,... I personally believe, that cage trapped critters are far better served with a quick clean end, rather than releasing them into an unfamiliar area. I feel that it is our responsibility to, take care of business, rather than force a captured animal to try and adapt,..quickly,...to an often hostile environment... But, I could well be wrong...?5 points

Took the HW 100 KT .177 out this late afternoon/ evening to the nursery permission to see if the rabbits were showing at all. Static set up in place, not one single rabbit seen in nearly 4 hrs. The owners are very pleased. So just one single presentation prevented a blank evening, the 100`s accuracy is amazing at times, - shot between the shoulder blades at 43 yds lased and through a tiny gap in the tree canopy. atb Mark.4 points

Saw a rabbit on arrival at the permission but that was the last i saw this evening. A grey showed itself carrying a conker, stopped in the lane and stared my way trying to find me. The 77 took him at dead on 40 yds lased with a perfect head shot. So i left him where he dropped as magpies were hanging around. The little ploy worked lads. Another head shot at 40 yds. I continued the wait but all went very quiet so i sent Kaiser in for his beloved retrieves. So lad4 points

I’m 53 and have been reading and following this nearly all my adult life . The deer used to jump the fences and the farms next to Baronsdown used to just shoot them . While the hunt was moveing them they could put up with a bit of damage. But because they caused so much damage to the next door farms the landowners had no choice . I’m afraid it’s a failed ideology, a fluffy , cuddly bunny , view of nature from those who have been brought up on Disney films . They are so arrogant, with an inflated view of themselves. They honestly think that the people who have farmed and hunted the land for g4 points

Having put dogs to the forefront & basically lost everything & everyone i cared about i'd take the advice Katchum offered bud, life's too short for regrets, this is no rehearsal for life, time lost to the missus & kids can never be got back,do what's right for you & your family first & foremost,i'm speaking from personal experience here too,get the dog into a good home & crack on with family life just now,it's the right & proper thing to do for all concerned..all the best to you4 points

3500ft above sea level, nearest road (and my truck) is a testing three hour trek away. But when you reach those remote areas it’s a different world a real sense of being alone in the wild. It’s good for the soul ?4 points

So being kingpins in extortion, racketeering and flooding their own communities with drugs is all the qualifications they need to be judge and jury. The only thing the scumbags need to pay heed to is that being a little scumbag doesn’t pay better to be a big scumbag and be the one pulling the trigger.3 points

Cheers mate, guessed it would be a bit random and unjust, some might deserve it, but harsh on others! Also being BBC was doubting the accuracy! Do like that little minx id hang out the back of that for a good 2 mins!3 points

Very realistic Walt.. A lot of these punishment shootings were and are carried out by bigger scumbags than the ones getting shot, I know 2 lads that got kneecapped for selling weed but the men that was supplying them never got a finger laid on them, money talks, a lot of the cnuts that get it deserve it but a whole lot more deserve it but don’t get it because they pay their way out of it or have family that keeps them right.3 points

Id like to say 97. But I would. I shot a comp TX the other week on a friendly course shoot. And to be honest, it really wasn’t a TX. Had more custom bits than Stephen Hawking. So just maybe, those TX that win, though they carry the AA engraving, are in fact there owners concoctions rather than the standard TX that’s being referred too. Granted though mate. Can’t complain to be honest... Epic rifle indeed. Toying with getting one myself. Just need to get rid of a few before hand. Out of interest... didn’t you post this same post like 3 months ago? Ya know, that usual springer post pointin3 points

I fish for eels a lot! iv been targeting them in 2 north Yorkshire lakes for the last few years and the bait to use is raw king prawn. A carefully hooked full big king prawn on a size ten on a running rig is the best way iv found. Bites are usually dropbacks. Iv found open areas of the lakes more successful than the margins. Light running leads, light bobbins and delkims on full sensitivity are the Way to go. The first 2 hours of darkness seem to be the best and then nothing afterwards in my experience. Try it - the praw king prawn seems to single them out - I often get asked what iv caught on3 points

Nice one billy? I cart an air rifle out with me on the 12’s, i don’t set out for an air gun session but if they land I’ll do them with the air and if it’s a bad shot finsh them off with it! you need to get an impact like Alan, I won’t post what that will do... ? top session boys3 points
