  2. I visited the litter sired by my bull whippet dog. There was some cracking pups there. The mother of the pups is nearly full greyhound just a touch of bull. She’s a top class fox bitch, owned by a very good pal. Anyway here’s the pups I picked. Dog on the right bitch on the left. They are 4 weeks old so another few weeks until they join me.

  9. Sounds like alot going on in your house, without much regularity to it. Ie, you going to work at different times, for different lengths of time. And getting up at 3 am aint going to help you either. You say you put him back in the crate, well, leave him in there overnight til you get up in the morning, or put him somewhere where there's no carpeting for him to soil, I leave all my pups in the hallway in the crate with door open. The quicker you get into a set routine, and stick to it, the quicker the pup will learn

  10. My good mate has a small shoot he has started up. And the fox has nearly completly wrecked his pheasant population. He has been out with night vision, the lot. With no luck at all. He has asked me a few times to come help him. But weather has been far to hot. But this weekend it has been cool and wet. So decided to help out. First wood, dogs all in and away. 5 mins later they have found charlie boy. He's out and cleanly shot. My pal was over the moon. Gave us full run of the other woods to do through season.

  11. ...... At Food Warehouse (part of Iceland) There's a few new warehouse shop type places popping up round here - one of them is called Food Warehouse. We popped in today to see what it was like and to be fair, they've got some good stuff. I've never had Wagyu beef before but, I'd heard it's nice - they had these Wagyu rump steaks - a couple of minutes each side in the griddle and, it was bloody lovely. The meat is different to a normal steak - the fibres are smaller and they part easier. The taste is almost a little buttery. At £8 a pop

  12. I was stuck under my one when it tipped backwards as I loaded it into the van with two deer tied to the back rack , no phone as I had lost it when I went into the river to save the dog a week before , 45 minutes later With the cold getting to me I put my hands in the jacket pockets to warm them up and found the smallest opinal penknife my mates grandson had given me because his mum wouldn’t let him have a knife ..able to cut the rope and drop the deer off I managed to get my leg out and right the bike ..part of my gralloching practice was to check I had all my knives and put them in the front

  15. A good day and night for me never equated to double figures,2 and 3 rabbits was a long days slog, then we ventured into the Dales. What a mistake, you soon lose your love of hunting and chase numbers, chase mutts that are better suited to numbers, neglect your family and lose yourself like a smackhead on crack.I spent 7 years chasing Dales rabbits, what a waste of 7 years for a fecking conie, they are not worth the effort until you again realise that a few hunted right is better than a massive amount hunted for the sake of killing numbers.

  28. Woodies, I found some, on the edge of a rape field and two busy sittie trees. I got me under one and got 19 to hand and four lost in the tape, they were gliders folding up near 100 yards in the crop. The little 99, now with a mod on was excellent for the job pulling off a few 45+ yard shots. Would I of done better with a shotgun? I doubt it, I had birds coming while one was dropping through the branches! U.

  29. I do quit a bit of it. I've done school fates and kids party's and a couple of fundraisers in my local pub and church hall. We do ferret roulette as well and I've even made a ferret size agility course of the kids to run them round on a lead and harness but that's work in progress lol. It's all good fun for the ferrets and the kids. Most of the people I come across find it hard to believe that they go from rabbit killers to playful balls of fun with there kids. I also use it to do a bit of pr

  30. I've seen them crossed with Aberdeen Angus before and was told, most are cross bred in Europe. To the lads on about the Japanese top notch beef.... Wagyu is the breed, Kobi is the beer fed and pampered exception that costs a fuucking fortune, for not much extra imo. A bit like the Fois gras of beef lol

That looks v nice Jon anything more than med rare is a waste of a wagyu , there’s a tidy pub up the road do v nice food there star players on the menu is the wagyu the burgers the rib eye are top notch if you look out the pub window thers a small number of cattle wandering around in fine condition they are well kept and look sort of happy , one by one the number of cattle gets less and less until the star player on the menu is no more , and wagyu is removed from the menu

  40. Don’t over complicate things In the house i don’t let a pup free in the house until he’s able to contrast between inside rest : outside play , it’s a habit that’s get created by you habits the pup create turn into problems we have to solve if left to their own devices it’s either in its crate or it’s outside with me , it learns that’s it environment decides it’s state of mind ignore it in the house and the pup will switch off stimulate it in the house and the pup will be switched on , constantly
